Was not a huge sandwich fan until I discovered special C, maple glazed turkey with brie, granny smith apples and honey mustard. I get it on their baguette like bread(I think they call it a ‘bagnut,’ but it’s wider and thinner) that’s got a good crust but a soft inside so you don’t feel like you’re squeezing out the contents with every bite(like with their ciabatta). A perfect mix of sweet & savory with texture, I was blown away by my first bite. Heard you can have it toasted, but I’m not sure if I can handle that awesomeness. The place itself is very cute/quaint, with a sweet-faced Korean owner and her trusty Latin sandwich maker sidekick. Unlike the typical corner deli, they sell ‘higher end’ products and Toblerone, which always reminds me of international food stores(before they became popular in the local grocer) and/or duty free shopping.

K’s is a fantastic little Cheese shop and Deli that has been around for over 18 years. The sandwiches are very good, and reasonably priced. Update: A Subway just opened up right next door… they are the Walmart of the sandwich industry! A** Holes!
