This place is a joke! I’ve never interacted with such rude staff at every step of the process in my life! I even said to the ‘nurse’ going to draw the blood to stop speaking to me like I was a piece of cr*p on her shoe (probably should have said that after she took the blood, still have a bruise). I said I’m actually a human so have some respect instead of just manhandling me and grunting at me!
I’m not a fan of having my blood taken so I try not to look, so when I asked how many samples she was taking she said, how many what? Samples I said again and the answer was 4 and judging by her voice I should have know that.
At the end all she said was ‘done’ I said is there anything I have to do and all she said was «yes, leave».
The ‘nurse’ taking the blood reminded me of an ex-​gf, a total b!!!
And I get to pay for that attitude!
GO TO ANOTHER LOCATION, NOT HERE!!!

If I could give zero stars I would… made an appt in advance, had fasted for 12+ hours when I got there and was told is have to come back another day because they ran out of alcohol pads!!! What kind of a lame excuse is that? No offer to schedule me in another center nearby, no apologies nothing… just come back another day — SO unprofessional!!!

Like others, I should have checked Unilocal before booking this place. There are a million LabCorps in the city, but I think I picked this one because it was close to where I was that day, and the online appointment maker offered more options for services, the ones that I needed.
When I arrived, there were three frustrated and bored looking people already waiting. 45 minutes after signing in, I asked why I wasn’t acknowledged or even given a clipboard on which to write my information. Their reason was the system was down. It was up soon after that, and the blood draw was quick and painless. The technician said I looked like I could work at an Apple Store. I think it was a compliment. I was in and out quickly ONCE everything was working. See the pictures. I’ve had routine bloodwork done before, and never have I gotten such bruising! I even drank tons of water before arriving (which I recommend, it made things go very smoothly).
I will be checking out other locations/​companies in the future.

I made a grave grave mistake not checking the Unilocal reviews.
Two LabCorp techs tried to draw blood and attempted a total of four times. The first lab technician during her first attempt was unable to get more than half a vial on the first try from my left arm and then tried to draw blood from the right. She asked me how much water I had consumed and I informed her not a lot. When I asked her what was the issue and why it was taking so many attempts she replied «Everyone takes out blood differently». The first lab technician who tried to draw blood seemed rather disinterested. She had the needle in my arm and was tapping around the arm where the needle was inserted.
She finally had to call for another technician, who was more empathetic with my situation but was also unable to draw blood. The second technician tried to draw blood from both arms as well. At one point she was turning the needle in my arm, trying to readjust it. She finally asked if I would let her draw blood from my hand. I had to refuse and asked them to cancel the appointment. I just had to get out of there. Drawing blood from the hand is a rather painful process. I have passed out once from it and from what I know after speaking to other doctors is not the preferred method to draw blood.
Both my arms hurt a lot and my right arm has a lump in it. I have been going to Quest Diagnostic for a few years and have never face such a problem.

I went here because this blood lab is included in my insurance plan. The front desk receptionist was friendly and nice but honestly, the waiting room was claustrophobic and looked like it had not been updated since 1988.
More importantly, the person who withdrew my blood had a wicked cold and was sniffling and snorting over me as she withdrew 6 vials from my arm. She was pregnant so I assume she was unable to take any meds for her cold but, seriously? she was quite unfriendly (not rude either), the needle hurt like hell in my arm and she had NO explanation when I asked her as to why my blood was slowing down, causing me a lot of pain. Quite frankly, I couldn’t understand why a professional would not offer any kind of distracting words to try and relieve the pain and duress she saw her «patient» was under. Instead she snorted and said she had «no idea» why my blood might be moving slowly. Days later, someone told me that could be a sign of dehydration which actually would make sense AND, (exactly) three and a half days later I woke up with piercing ear pain which forced me to go to Urgent Care on a Sunday and the Dr there said I have a «bad» ear infection for which I was prescribed 1500 mg of Amoxicillin for 10 days! Thank you sniffling, snorting, pregnant phlebotomist for not taking any medications or for coming to work and being a carrier of a virus to 100’s of people! That’s the kind of person who does NOT care one iota about other people besides herself and her own. The kind of person who pollutes the planet, her neighborhood with garbage whether it’s toxic or not.

Horrible service & rude staff. They would not take me for blood work even though it was 5 mins until closing. I was lugging a huge suitcase, asked politely but they refused. Just plain mean!

This location is always short staffed. The staff that is present have to check in customers, enter all the data, verify insurance and then do the blood work which makes the whole process very very slow and painful. I often see customers with appointments like me waiting for 40+ mins. Not sure why Labcorp would have a location but at the same time not have it function efficiently.
Also the location time on the website is different from their actual operating times. So call and confirm to not waste time.

First time using Lab Corp. They are in a big building and there are a few entrances to get to the building via 58^th and 57^th St. You can miss them as they are right by the elevator in their floor. Decent sized waiting room with TV. I wouldn’t say the receptionist was rude but she wasn’t friendly.
I had to fill out the first timer form which didn’t take long at all. Only one page asking for your personal/​insurance and doctor’s information. They ask you if you have an appointment or not. I didn’t but when I went there was no one there so it wasn’t an issue.
The nurse though was polite and professional. I went there to draw blood and the nurse was spot on. Even though it was my first time I was in and out with 10 mins. Other places I’ve been have never been that fast, especially the first time.

There is very little good about this place except for the convenience of being on 57^th Street. Until Labcorp, I thought I knew what slow-​moving and lazy employees were. This is a whole new level. At least in this location, there is a dedicated person at the front and a dedicated phlebotomist. (Usually it’s the same person.) The blood draws here are painful and I see a mark at the draw site for a good month afterward. Why does this have to be so ghetto?

This is a review for their location at West 58^th.
The waiting area is a bit depressing… one room has a TV going ²⁴⁄₇ so if you want peace and quiet that won’t be possible. The TV is unavoidable. Then they have another waiting room for overflow that has two rows of chairs facing each other so close that you could touch the person across from you. A bit awkward perhaps? And this overflow room is right next to the lab’s front door so there is constant in and out of people.
The people working at the desk are just ‘ok’ (good help is hard to find it seems for most doctor’s offices…) The people working in the lab rooms themselves seemed a bit better.
When I made an appointment for my blood work, no one at the office ever told me that for this particular type of test that I would need to fast. So when I arrived the first time, it was only then that they said ‘oh by the way did you fast?’ When I said ‘no’, I was told that I would have to come back another time… when I had fasted. Gee thanks for telling me.
Also…I got the sense that most of the people who go to this place are here for ‘drug testing’, so that gives you an idea of the clientele. There was also an interesting sign on the wall that said ‘no firearms allowed in this office’. Hmmm…

Wow. 10 vials of blood with small talk and THEY STILL LOST IT! Truly a joke. A waste of time and literally BLOOD! I went here because last year Quest did the same thing! Lose-​Lose situation with big corporate services. Now where do I go where my insurance will pay? Such a fuckin joke. Phone support was very nice but… Avoid!

I work exactly at the midpoint between this location and the 330 W 58^th location. Go to this one.
Went today with a 12:30PM appointment. Arrived at 12:25PM, was out the door by 12:40PM. Clean, well-​lit. No nonsense, competent, on time. Shouldn’t be so hard to find these basic qualities in a lab. It is. You’ll find them here.

I had an appointment at 10:30, came in a little bit early and was seen right away. The front desk woman was perfectly friendly, very quick and efficient, and very kind to an elderly man ahead of me who was having some trouble understanding her. The phlebotomist was super friendly and chatty and very polite. I had low expectations due to the unfavorable reviews, but my experience was really positive. Additionally, the place seemed super clean, the waiting area was nice and bright, and the area where I had my blood taken was equally pleasant. The location is also very convenient, and in a nice building.

The rudest, laziest of all Labcorp locations, and as I have bloodwork done every 3 weeks, I’ve been to a lot of them. Find another location.

I’m jet lagged and exhausted from traveling over Memorial Day weekend, but I made the effort to get my ass out of bed early this morning to make my 7:30 labwork appointment before work. It would have been really nice if the LabCorp employees would have done the same.
I punctually arrived this morning at 7:25, only to find the doors locked and not an employee in sight. It’s really a damn shame that my insurance doesn’t cover Quest lab.
That being said, go to Quest lab. It’s in the same building and the facilities are a helluva lot nicer. And I’ll bet their employees even show up to their job on time.
