Lauren Kane, founder of Lauren Kane Jewelry designs unique and one of a kind pieces of wearable art. Lauren Kane’s creations are hand made from Swarovski crystals, Swarovski pearls, semi-precious stones, sterling silver and 14kt gold.
The atmosphere in Lauren Kane Jewelry Studio is relaxing with soft music playing and food and drink to pamper her clients. If the bride is able to bring her wedding gown, there is a dressing room so the bride can try jewelry on with her dress.
Brides come to Lauren Kane Studio to try on the creations on display. Many go on to design their own wedding jewelry, using the creations in the studio as a starting point. Lauren listens to her bride’s ideas and while the bride is in the studio, Lauren develops a prototype so the vision can be realized. Once the prototype is reworked until it is perfect, Lauren then makes some drawings and notes. Later Lauren will order whatever components are needed and assemble the final wedding jewelry.

History
Established in 2005.
Ms. Kane threw herself into the jewelry-making industry, trying to carve out a niche while fabricating necklaces, earrings, bracelets and anklets on a small table in her bedroom.
Word of mouth «seemed to travel virally,» according to Ms. Kane, and very soon she was holding showcases in her living room, dining room, kitchen and daughter’s playroom.
She peddled her wares at holiday and church shows, joined the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce and did her best to advertise and market.
Business began to boom and Ms. Kane converted her home’s first floor into a showroom and workroom, complete with a separate entrance for business purposes.
And while Ms. Kane was ringing up brisk sales among businesswomen, girls prepping for proms and Sweet 16s, and regular customers, it was the bridal groups who began showing up at her doorstep that really took the venture in a different direction.

Lauren welcomes you to visit her studio and experience the journey her creations take before you come to own one.
