Learn Excel Class

I took Glenn’s Advance Excel class and it was AWESOME! It’s a small size class and Glenn takes care of everyone. I am so glad that I took the class.

Glenn’s Advance Excel Class is fantastic! I have only positive things to say about it.
I will highly recommend this class to anyone interested in taking their Excel game to a new level! Will be definitely coming back for the VBA class.

I was most impressed by Glenn’s graceful ability to support struggling students while still maintaining the momentum of the overall class to keep the rest of the group stimulated. Every student will walk out feeling accomplished. Glenn reinforces every 20 minutes of lecture with a short burst of lab work. It’s a great way to build muscle memory and commit the material to memory in a no-​pressure environment. Critical thinking skills will also be tested, forcing even the most Excel-​savvy students to reassess their efficacy and leave with a fresh perspective.

Glenn is a fantastic, hands on teacher that will also stick with you when you get back into your work world. He taught me invaluable coding knowledge and he has been very accessible as I have applied it in my work. Thank you!

Took the advanced excel class. Learned some great shortcuts as well as formulas that will be great help for my work. Glenn is very knowledgeable and patient. He has a great curriculum and goes with the class’s pace. Highly recommend if you are interested in learning more about excel.

Glenn’s VBA class was absolutely phenomenal. I was asked to take the course my boss, so I could build a tool for work (and I’m not a programmer — I just work with Excel a lot). I thought this course would be a good place to start to learn VBA. I figured after the course I would still have to practice/​study for at least a few months, on my own, to become proficient enough to build the aforementioned tool. Guess what — not the case! In 3 classes (just 3) Glenn teaches you enough to be truly functional and self-​sufficient in VBA. He teaches you the stuff you’re really going to use in the finance/​business/​any world where Excel is used. Not only does he teach the most salient aspects of VBA, but he also provides you with excellent resources that you can leverage when you run into problems — including but not limited to, his own textbooks (which are way more concise and relevant than any online). He also provides a free Advance Excel 1 day course if you sign up for his VBA course package — this is not only great value, but also serves as a very valuable refresher for those who haven’t used Excel in a while. And not only that — you can actually learn a few tricks too! For ⁹⁄₁₀ Excel tasks, I use no mouse — now I never actually have to use it (although I do sometimes, as some mouse tasks are just faster than their keyboard shortcuts). Another value add is that Glenn will sit with you at the end of the class and work on your work related problems — if you have any, at no extra charge! And finally, Glenn is just a nice guy. He’s exceedingly approachable and flexible (I had to reschedule a class) and has loads of real world experience that make for great anecdotes to make sure things never get monotonous.

Before registering I was very skeptical of this class. I figured I would pay money and learn nothing as I have done at other seminars. Or something was up since his website seemed to be everywhere. Was I wrong! Glenn is one of the top three teachers I have had. I have a CFA, CPA, MBA, and a 2^nd Masters so I’ve been around alot of teachers.
Thanks to Glenn’s Excel VBA class, I am able to get things at work quickly ad efficiently via VBA! After paying 6k or so for the CFA, $ 500 for a class to instantly give me a skill in a month was great (in between his class I studied using his notes). I’ve done classes at NYU for 10 weeks at $ 1000, where you learn nothing. I can not say enough how happy I was to take his class. The class was in Midtown west. I am also going to be sitting in on his advanced class after the new year.
