Beware! Do not use this company. They are deceitful. I signed a contract with them to transport my 66 Dodge Coronet for 1150 dollars from Calif to NY. After not hearing from them for two weeks the owner Tobias called me back and said it would be $ 200 dollars more. I told him to hold off, and that I would get some additional prices. After looking around a bit, Tobias called me back asking what was going on, I told him I was shopping it around. He said he would look around to see if he could get it cheaper. That’s the last I heard from him. Then 4 days later I get a call from the driver of a truck stating he has my car and wants to know where to put it. I DID NOT AUTHORIZE TOBIAS TO PICK UP MY CAR. Nobody called me or told me the car was being picked up. After speaking with Tobias he said that since I signed the contract he had a right to pick up my car. To which I replied then since it was a signed contract then you should honor the original price? He said no. Funny how he used the contract so it was only convenient for him. Nothing I could do at the time, because he still had my car. I was at their mercy. The company whose truck my car was on threatened to keep the car if I didn’t come pick it up on the side of the NJ Turnpike right away, and they demanded an additional $ 150 cash for some unknown reason. Totally unprofessional. I called Tobias after it was all over and he couldn’t care less and hung up on me. I am referring his business to the NYS Attorney Generals Office for deceitful business practices. They have already gotten back to me and have said they will accept the case.

After my last visit to my parents house in Chicago, my dad mentioned that he is no longer driving his BMW 3 series, due to problems with his eyes.
And offered me to take the car if I wanted. And I sure did!
The problem was that I didn’t want to drive it all the way from Chicago to New York.
So I called few places I found on Unilocal and Google, and decided to go with Lepke Auto Transport, since they have quoted me the lowest price and sounded most professional over the phone.
And I am so happy that I did go with them.
The whole process was very simple and I have just an amazing experience dealing with this vehicle shipping company.
I surely had lots of questions, and was a bit worried, but the nice gentlemen on the phone explained everything to me in great detail, and provided me with all of the information.
I received my car in NY on time, and it was in the great shape (no scratches, no bumps).
This is my first time ever using a service like this, but I’m happy to say that I had a positive experience.
