I can’t wait for my old dog to die so I never have to use this store again.
These are a bunch of negligent lying people, who will let your pet starve and string you along with excuses rather than tell you they simply can’t get the food you need.
If you care about your pet don’t patronize this place.

Not thrilled with their selections and lack of service. They didn’t have anything on sale (who doesn’t love browsing through a sale section). I’m glad I visited just so I knew it I’d never have to visit again for my pet needs.

Fran is extremely helpful and runs this store like a true professional. Delivery service is fast and prompt. They order my dog’s rx food and it’s at my door in a couple of days. Have been coming here since I moved here 5 Years ago. Thanks for the great service!

Stopped by at 7:45 and they were closed, despite the sign saying they are open until 8pm. Argh! Bad business, folks.

i like this place. the woman at the counter was really helpful in picking out food for my kittens. also, their cat gracie hangs out on the counter, very cute … meow

The service is friendly, prices are reasonable and the hours of operation are convenient. The only issue is that they often run out of product so you sometimes have to wait a few days for it to be restocked.

I love this place! I used to always ignore it and go straight to Petco for my doggie essentials… but to be honest the Petco in our area isn’t so clean and they are pricey. Anyway I got a new dog and decided to check this place out. I fell in love with it as soon as I walked in. There was an older lady who was very helpful and set me up with some hard dog food samples since my dog was a fussy eater. The prices are VERY reasonable!!! I purchased a cute hard to find pink 4 foot leash for $ 5.00! The soft dog food I buy for my dog is $ 0.39 cheaper here and I really love the selection they have. This is a great place and I agree with another reviewer … it feels great supporting this small business!

This is a great, reasonably priced pet store with lots of variety. It beats crappy corporate PetCo or PetSmart any day! We’re happy it’s around, plan to support it going forward — and we hope you can check it out for your pet (s)!

This place has it all. I was looking for a medium-​sized litter box for Pancetta, and it was easy to find for a very reasonable price. Friendly service, fair-​prices, clean, well-​stocked, and a resident feline fatty who greets you at the register… what more could you want from a pet store?

I love this store. They have everything needed for young pets through seniors. The staff is warm and friendly and if they don’t have what you need, they order and deliver it to you.
There is also a store on York Ave.
After adopting my dog, I went straight there before even taking him home. They set me up with all the essentials as well as «treats.» to make his transition easy-​and it has been!
It is more convenient then the big chains and the prices are better on a lot of items. It is a pleasure to support a small business in NYC!

A family owned and operated store. Used to be Furry Paws on 23^rd St. between 2^nd & 3^rd Ave. Very well stocked in a huge variety of cat & dog food brands, especially the RX stuff that you’ll never find at a national chain store. If they don’t have it they’ll order it for you. They also DELIVER! And their prices for everything are either on par or a few cents cheaper than you’d pay at PETCO, etc.
They cater mostly to cat & dog people though they do carry a few bird items as well. Nothing for fish.
I’ve been shopping there for 11 years and would walk past a PETCO to buy from Litter & Leashes.
Always remember to look for and say hi to «Mister» their enormous gray in-​house cat. But don’t try to pet him until he gets to know you. He’s a but of a grumpy old man.

This is a great little pet store that carries many high quality brands of cat and dog food, as well as various other accessories and supplies.
The store is remarkably clean (especially for a pet store) and the woman behind the counter on the day I went was very helpful. They apparently deliver too, which I will definitely keep in mind.
