Little Borrowed Dress

I used Union Station (Little Borrowed Dress) for my Wedding in April. I did a lot of research before deciding to use them. Personally, I have been in quite a few weddings and spent $$$ on the dresses only to never wear them again, so I loved that they could rent for a fraction of the cost. The Seaglass color is EXACTLY the shade I had wanted, and it is pretty hard to find, so I felt it was a great option for us. I was unsure about the sizing and wanted the girls to try them on, so I paid to have them send me 3 sample sizes. I ordered the 0 – 2, the 4 – 6 and the 8 – 10. With the test sizes, they only sent them in short, so I couldn’t actually order the long ones (which is what we were getting). I had scheduled a time for them to be delivered, and that time came and went. I contacted them and had a difficult time hearing back from them. When I finally did, they overnighted the sample sizes. I was about to leave for a week-​long vacation, and some girls lived out of town, so the timing of getting the samples when I had wanted was pretty important. They personally called me to apologize for the delay and I was very impressed by that. When I got the samples, I had gotten 2 of the 0 – 2 and then a 8−10… so they did not send me the 4 – 6. which was the size most of the girls needed of course. I had to call them again, and they overnighted me the 4 – 6. This was somewhat frustrating, because again, I paid almost $ 100 for these samples and they were late and wrong. But the girls liked the dresses, so we still went with them for the big day. They all shipped on time and the girls loved the color! We ordered the long strapless style (the Jane) and they were very long. A few girls had to shorten them and pay to buy them. Most girls didn’t need to make alterations though. Something that bothered me was that the top of the dress tended to fold over a little, and expose the satin inner hem. This did happen a few times, but you could not really notice it in photos. The dresses were comfortable and the girls were able to easily move and dance in them. Overall, we did have a good experience! I think they need to get a little more organized, and maybe allow people to sample the longer sizes, not just the short ones. The color of their dresses are beautiful! They turned out lovely in our photos. So I had a positive experience with a few bumps in the road!

We had a great experience with Union Station (formerly Little Borrowed Dress.) My wedding was March 19^th, and my girls all rented the ‘Emma’ dress in Royal Blue. All the dresses came on time, were of good quality, and fit well. One of my bridesmaids is pregnant and the dress even worked for her. They looked wonderful! They were super happy to not have to pay a billion dollars for a dress they’ll never wear again.

I recently received the dress I rented from Union Station for a wedding I have to attend next month. I’m one of the bridesmaids. The bride didn’t consult us if we preferred to shop for our own dressed with colors that she picked, instead we were told to rent one of the dresses from Union Station. The rental price is $ 50, but then when you add in shipping it’s another $ 12 or so dollars. I got two sizes and will wear the smaller of the two since it’s a slightly better fit. Both dresses are of extremely poor quality and I’m very disappointed. The dress is not sewn well, the sides do not lay flat against the body, the way the fabric gathers at the front and the sides looks horrible. I’m so stressed out by this dress as I’m afraid that it’ll look like I’m wearing a yolk yellow sack. The color is not true to the photo they supply on their website. Instead of a lovely spring yellow I got a gross, old yellow color. I have no words except that I’m bringing along a sweater and will be putting it on immediately after the ceremony. If you’re a future bride, please consult with your bridesmaids before making any dress decisions. I promise you, they’re going to thank you for it. Everyone wants to look their best on such an important occasion. Stay away from Union Station. You get what you paid for.

honestly, a little frightening this place is still in business.
I recently had my second LBD experience (despite my intense attempts at convincing my friend to choose a different option). My first was in spring 2014 when i received a smelly dirty dress with an uneven hem and the only option the company offered me was «get it dry cleaned and hem it yourself… we won’t charge you…». This time around, I called at least six times in the weeks leading up to my dress’s anticipted arrival and left dozens of messages. no answer. the one time i spoke to someone she identified herself as «corie» whom i believe is actually the founder of the company according to some research online. She was increidbly short with me and I hung up the phone horrified that this woman had not gone out of her way to make me feel more comfortable.
Anyways, my dresses eneded up arriving only 9 days before my best friend’s wedding. When I called to mentione this, no sort of comp was offered or even an apology, To be frank, it seemed like me calling was an annoyanc to them and anothing more. my dresses were obviously riddled with oil stains and had faded pit stains. the material is cheap and overall the styles are extremely dated. From what I understand, they haven’t updated any styles in years so don’t count on anyting trend based.
Once this company takes your money they don’t care about you. It’s clearly struggling in a major way and I would advise any brides to resconsider using Union Station/​LBD or at least come up with a very secure back up plan since I can’t imagine this place will be able to provide dresses with confidence this wedding season.

I used Union Station for my wedding last year, and am currently a bridesmaid for a bride who is also choosing this option. I also purchased matching groomsmen accessories– which is a WONDERFUL addition.
I have to say, I have had absolutely NO bad experiences with customer service. As a bride, I called about 3 times (they were transitioning from LBD to Union Station) with questions about dresses, delivery, confirmation, and getting the bridesmaids to register. They were always very helpful and quite great. One of my bridesmaids also didn’t realize she had to mail it the dresses back the next day, so when I called a few days later, they waived the late fee.
As a bridesmaid this time around, I had to get a rush order link. This was a painless phone call. Additionally, the bride for this wedding asked about the fit of all the different dresses (all this info is posted online) and passed it along to us. So they told her exactly how dresses fit and where and what kinds of dresses work best on which body types.
The dresses are beautiful, simple, and can fit almost any wedding aesthetic– with exceptions of course. They are affordable, come with an elegant garment bag (which you can keep). The dresses even fit my 6 month pregnant Maid of Honor.
I cannot recommend more highly! For those with bad fit experiences, they probably did not do enough research regarding how each of the different styles fit.

DO NOT RENT FROM LITTLE BORROWED DRESS /​UNION STATION!!!
*Sizing:
My friend was getting married and I am her curviest bridesmaid. 38DD, normally a 12 or 14 dress size, but LBD’s dress sizes are terribly inaccurate! Check the measurements! I did, and, to my fear, their «16÷18» dress size was not large enough for my bust. I called them (I’m in CA, they’re in NY), explained my sizing situation, and asked what happens if I rent their largest size and it doesn’t fit? The girl on the phone says that I can exchange it for another size… But if I get the largest size and it’s too small, how can I exchange it for a larger size? Idiot. I asked if they had larger sizes. They told me they do not, and THEY GET ASKED THAT QUESTION ALL THE TIME AND HAVEN’T MADE LARGER SIZES. So, basically, they do not care if you’re curvy at all. I asked if there was a way that they could send me a dress just to try on that I could send back immediately, just to be able to see if I could squeeze into it. No. Do you have any stores on the West Coast? No. Is there any way I could try it on somehow??? No. So if I rent, when will the dress arrive? 2 weeks before the wedding. She said that if it doesn’t fit, I could turn the $ 75 rental into a $ 200 purchase and have it altered. 2 WEEKS BEFORE THE WEDDING I’M SUPPOSED TO HAVE IT ALTERED??? That’s insane. I asked if there was any kind of price break, since the rented dress would be used? Nope. You purchase at full price a dress that someone else has sweated in. Gross. The only option I saw was to purchase the dress at full price, so that it would be a brand-​new dress and it would arrive a full month before the wedding. I ordered the Hillary dress because I figured the strapless was my best bet at having enough space for my cleavage. (I wanted something with sleeves, but they don’t have any sleeved dresses).
*Shipment:
I received a tracking number that my order was ready to ship. I waited. A week went by. The tracking number said that my package had never been picked up, only the number had been created. I tried calling. No one answered, no answering machine. I tried email. No response. THEY NEVER CHECK THEIR EMAILS. After a week of calling, I FINALLY got a hold of someone — it turned out one of their employees SIMPLY DECIDED THAT MY DRESS WAS A RENTAL AND NOT A PURCHASE SO THEY WEREN’T GOING TO SEND IT TO ME UNTIL IT WOULD BE 2 WEEKS BEFORE THE WEDDING INSTEAD OF THE MONTH I WAS PROMISED. INSANE!!! Thank goodness I was able to finally get a hold of someone!
*Quality:
When it FINALLY arrived, I could squeeze into it just enough to make it work, thank goodness. But it was not pretty. (Thank goodness I bought a miraculous longline bra from Strut in LB.) The workmanship was ABYSMAL! The breast padding was sewn in badly so that the top rolled down, the hem at the bottom of both types of material was disastrously crooked — for a $ 200 dress sewn to order, it was pretty cheaply made. And ALL of the dresses in the bridal party were like that. A couple had really crappy zippers that we had to struggle with too. Also, the dress length on their website is called «regular» and «long», and being short at 5’3″ I ordered the «regular» — but it would be more accurate to call the lengths «long» and «longer» — it was a trip hazard for everyone in the party! Only the 5″ heels that I bought would have made the dress length workable. I decided to do a temporary hem instead. The only good thing about the dress was that the color was beautiful (plum).
*Fellow Bridesmaids:
Everyone else rented (except for one bridesmaid who hit «purchase» by mistake, and LBD wouldn’t turn it into a rental so she was stuck with the purchase. Lovely customer service). But only 1 of the other 5 dresses arrived on time. Thank goodness I called, because it sounded like THEY HAD FORGOTTEN TO SHIP THE OTHER DRESSES!!! They said that they would ship that day and we would receive them the next day, which means they had to ship them overnight BECAUSE THEY FORGOT!!! The other bridesmaids who had sent emails never received a reply.
*Rating:
The one star is because Rachel was nice enough to turn my purchase into a rental since I wasn’t going to alter it. She also sent me some extra fabric: I wanted to make a bolero (and basically make my own «sleeves» since they don’t have a dress style for that).
*Advice:
If you absolutely cannot convince your bride to choose bridesmaid dresses from somewhere else, be sure to keep a close eye on your order. Call, do not email (not once did any of us ever receive an emailed reply, I don’t think they even monitor their email account). If you’re bustier than a 38DD there is no way in hell the dress will fit you. I highly recommend Hollywood Fashion Secrets Temporary Hem Tape so that you can hem the dress to the proper length since you’re not allowed to use any kind of pin or safety pin in the dress. And I suggest Hollywood Fashion Secrets Fashion Tape to ensure the fabric sticks to your skin. Good luck.

One of my best friends got married earlier this year and we all were going to get our dresses from LBD. It’s recommended that you reserve/​pay for the dress at least 3 months before the wedding so I did that.
About a week to the wedding, I received my dress in a size 0 and since I am petite, I did not get a «backup» size — unfortunately, the dress still did not fit. When I looked on their site, it said to contact them within 1 business of day of receiving the dress if it does not work, so I did. I called twice with no answer so I left a voicemail. I waited about a day and a half but there was no response. Fortunately, I also emailed after I had called. I got a response from the email and it just so happened that I was in NYC at the time so I scheduled an appt at their showroom.
I had no trouble finding the building where the showroom was but when I tried to get buzzed in, there was no answer and I got in when someone else was leaving. I went up to the showroom and a young woman helped me by bringing out different styles/​sizes of dresses that I could try on.
I’ve worked in retail long enough to know what service looks like and she had performed what was the most basic customer service she could do — to bring me the dresses and to answer questions I had. She did not have any warmth towards the fact that I was stressing out over the dress or that a few of the other bridesmaids received dresses from them that were damaged from a previous event. It just seemed like she wanted me to pick something and go.
I fully understand and don’t judge that in order to keep costs down, they have to sacrifice some things — like showroom and office space but one thing that could’ve turned the ENTIRE thing around was their customer service — from phone to email to in-​person.
Ended up keeping my original dress and tailoring it to fit so I had to buy it — spent $ 150 on a dress that I really did not feel was worth the $$ considering the service.

Such awful customer service. Don’t waste your time, go to another dress rental site.
I work in the bridal world, I have high expectations with other businesses in the industry. This was horrid. It took a snide remark on their instagram page to get a response after several call and voicemail attempts. Pity. All I needed was a couple questions answered. A simple question. ZERO enthusiasm. I’m a bride. I want to talk to people who are excited and want to help me. Don’t ruin my experience. So, fellow brides, if you do not wish to have your process ruined, with nasty attitude and poor customer service, then go somewhere else. You’ve been warned.

Anyone who buys bridesmaids dresses know that it’s a waste of money and your bridesmaid end up never wearing it again. We ended up going with the Hillary dress and everyone loved it. From start to finished Little Borrowed Dress/​UnionStation was helpful, super professional and so easy to work with. I would recommend to anyone who’s looking for a simple beautiful dress and wanting to save money. It’s a win win for everyone.

Absolutely recommend! Bridesmaid dresses can be so costly — I LOVE that Little Borrowed Dress has reasonably priced options. It made the entire wedding experience so much better for me — and I was able to spend more on buying a gift for my friend — which ultimately made her a happier bride! Seriously recommend.

I first heard about Union Station from seeing their Instagrams, and had the chance to rent a blue dress for a wedding where the «groom» (it was a gay wedding) let us wear whatever we wanted as long as it was blue and floor-​length. I ended up getting the Leigh dress in royal. It came as promised and I loved wearing it at the wedding! I also loved being able to spend a reasonable amount on a dress instead of dropping yet another $ 300.
I really hope more brides start using this! Please stop making us spend $ 300 on dresses! Union Station /​Little Borrowed Dress is my JAM.

The dresses are fine, I have no complaints about the actual product, but the service is TERRIBLE.
I ordered my dress (and the backup size), and both floor length gowns were far too short. On their website they have a clear policy for what to do when the dresses don’t fit — call/​email them right away (within 24 hours of receiving the dresses), pay $ 25 for rush shipping, and receive a third size. Sounds easy.
I received my dresses twelve days ago, called immediately — no answer. Emailed as a backup. No response. Called again EVERY DAY FOR TWELVE DAYS. Never got an answer. Emailed again, still no response.
I can’t wear either of these dresses because they look ridiculous, so I’m crossing my fingers that another bridesmaid has the size I need. I absolutely don’t trust this company and won’t recommend them to anyone — they are not there for you when you need them most, and they don’t seem to be equipped to follow their own processes.
If someone from LBD reads this review and wants to contact me, that would be GREAT as the wedding is exactly 4 days away and I’d love to have a dress that fits.

Everyone’s dress came on time except for one (because it wasn’t returned yet??? don’t you have a ware house?)
The dresses themselves are beat. Shredding at hems, a floppy tie in the back that just looks sloppy.
Some of my bridesmaids ended up buying dresses from
(long strapless navy) for $ 75!!! THOSE WERE PERFECT and more elegant and not cheap looking:
A bridesmaid was in a wedding a few months before with same style dresses and color ($ 180 dresses) long, strapless, navy, her friends gave her the dresses for back ups for some of my girls.

So it was a mix and match, but it looked unison– Just the 2 left who wore the LBD were upset because their dresses were just a little meh– but still happy!
It was funny, when one girl took the used bridesmaid dress that my friend brought, she was like «Its a REAL dress!!»
So, if it is a basic dress, I suggest looking elsewhere (target and then you can get it altered). This wasn’t the most reassuring experience for the poor quality. I was an easy going bride, and kept cost in mind for everyone– but it still comes down this is a mass — re-​worn dress of poor quality, the price is not worth it and the stress.
You can find the style/​color online anywhere for the price or cheaper.

I chose the style based on other dresses I own that fit. That are a true size 2 or 4 or 6. Not a ⁴⁄₆ and ⁰⁄₂ like I received from LBD. After spending $ 92 to rent a poorly made dress (Beatiful color tho! It was a great color!) I could have bought a better quality dress for about $ 20 more someplace else. Due to the dress not being a true size 2 or 4 made it where neither size fit! ⁰⁄₂ was way to small. It did not zip up all the way. ⁴⁄₆ was so loose up top that it fell off of me with and without a bra! Not only that but the long dress was to long by 2 inches. If I had a true size 2 or 4 given to me I’m certain I would have been able to manage with one of them without purchasing the PREVIOUSLY worn dress full FULL price.
After going to a reputable seamstress the ⁴⁄₆ was made to fit. It took the seamstress 3 tries to get the dress to fit perfectly. I only paid once (the initial price quoted). I Never had to pay extra for them to work on my dress more than once. The seamstress had excellent customer service and skill. The only good thing they had to say about my dress was it is a nice color.
Not only had I had to get the almost $ 200 LBD dress tailored, costing me more money, but I had to buy new undergarments. The panties I had showed through the two THIN layers of material. I was surprised navy panties showed threw a navy colored dress! I bought a nude, seamless thong that did not show threw thankfully. I also purchased a new bra that the seamstress used to help Hold Up The Dress. Without a very well fitted and secure strapless bra the dress would slide down slowly after being tailored. The seamstress added snaps to the bra to prevent even a chance of the dress sliding down. It worked beautifully. As I looked stunning in what was now an over $ 300 dress & undergarment ensemble.
My stiletto heels kept catching the back, bottom of my dress as I walked after alterations. Something about that material did not agree with my shoes. I put on heel stoppers (the ones that prevent high heels from sinking in the grass) on. That solved the problem. I never felt my heels tugging on the dress again when I walked. The heel stoppers slid across the inexpensive material nicely.
As for the other dresses for the other bridesmaids not one dress fit properly. Two were tapped to their chests to prevent any breasts/​bras showing and pinned to up/​tighter to help the dresses for better. They were just to loose up top. Theirs weren’t threatening to fall off. The two bridesmaids felt this was needed. Only 1 dress out of 4 «fit». I say «fit» due to the fact that it was a bit baggy on the 1 bridesmaid all over but wasn’t going to fall off or expose her in anyway. This was due to the style of dress she chose. The only problem she had was like me with the length. She bought platform wedges to help get rid of the extra length.
Now I didn’t spend $ 25 more dollars on a new style in only one size, instead of buying my previously worn rental dress, because what if that dress fit just as badly? That would mean I spent over $ 100 on a rental dress that is awful, to put it mildly.
I have never in all my life had such problems with a dress. Not even my own wedding dress!

The decision to rent my bridesmaids dresses was a really scary one. Especially since they were not delivered the day they were supposed to be. The biggest issue we had was not receiving the dresses on the days that we were supposed to. That just increased the stress, but in the end everyone had a dress that fit by the day of the wedding so I guess I can’t knock them for that too much.
We ordered 4 bridesmaids dresses total. We had some sizing issues and ended up needing to order a different style for one of the girls (be careful with the strapless style — it will not work on everyone). This was especially scary because they did not have the dress in stock and it needed to be produced before they could ship it out. Once that dress finally arrived, I was happy with my decision to rent the dresses. They looked great and the price was awesome compared to the cost of actually having everyone purchase a dress that they would never wear again.
We haven’t seen our professional pictures yet, but the dresses look great in cell phone pictures. Iris was the perfect shade of lavender for our wedding color scheme and it was surprisingly hard to find in other dresses I looked at before I decided to go with the rental option.
Advice I would give to future brides is to really consider body types and dress styles carefully. The people at LBD are great about answering questions and I would ask for their advice when selecting the right dress for each girl. I let everyone pick their own style and as I mentioned above, we had trouble with the strapless dresses. One bridesmaid just needed to go a size up since she’s busty, but we couldn’t make it work for my MOH who was between sizes. The smaller one wouldn’t zip up, but the larger one slid down. Also, put somebody in charge of collecting the dresses the next day. I thought it would be no problem getting the back the next day, but I am SO glad one of my bridesmaids took care of it for me. I was too busy getting ready to leave for our honeymoon and I probably would’ve forgotten about it.
Overall I would recommend LBD, just be prepared for the possibility of a little extra stress in case the dresses don’t fit perfectly the first time around.

Wouldn’t call LBD a very professional and organized company, as I scheduled a bridesmaid dress fitting over a month in advance and did not receive so much as a call or confirmation email a few days prior. Though, I did immediately receive a confirmation email when I initially made my appointment.
On the day of, I called LBD several times just to confirm my appointment, but no answer. Oh well. We showed up anyway — though getting into the building was a process in and of itself. Basically, we were stuck outside until someone was walking out the building. I would have appreciated a prep email outlining the directions/​process of getting in the building and prepping for the dress fitting.
Once inside the building and walking up to the LBD space, we were asked (rather brusquely) to «wait outside» until the current appointment was finished. This meant we were waiting in the elevator section of this old/​sketchy warehouse for 10 minutes… No seating/​waiting area?
Once invited inside the fitting room, everything went great. The LBD employee fitting us did a great job of going through the various options with us, was patient with our questions, and offered straightforward insight/​advice.
We have ordered our dresses, and I am looking forward to receiving them in the mail two weeks prior to my sister’s wedding. Updated review and details to follow.

Easy Simple Style
When I first got engaged I was going back and forth deciding between what Bridesmaid dresses to pick. All of the options I liked were either A) too expensive, B) not the right color or C) not a flattering body type for my maids. When I stumbled upon Little Borrowed Dress I was at first hesitant, until I called to request a few swatches of fabric.
The LBD staff was very easy to work with and made the process as painless as possible. I opted for the «Kate» style dress which is a newer style wrap dress in «steel gray». This allowed all of my maids to essentially alter the dress to the tightness most comfortable for them. I got so many compliments from the guests and my new sister-​in-​law is even ordering one for her senior prom to wear.
I don’t know what was the better end of the deal: the price or the staff at Little Borrowed Dress. I even got a personalized email lead-​in up to my big day in July that went over who exactly ordered a dress just in case someone was left off the list.
I recommend renting bridesmaid dresses to every new bride I encounter. My big day last July 19^th was a dream come true and I owe some of that to LITTLE BORROWED DRESS!

I got married in September, and when I heard about LBD earlier this year, I decided that this was how I wanted my bridesmaids to obtain their dresses. It’s a great concept. Renting was a cheaper alternative to the costs associated with purchasing a new dress at a local store.
I’ll point out the Pros of using LBD before I explain the Cons, because the experience wasn’t ALL bad. Because of the different style options to choose from, my maids were able to choose a style they felt they might be most comfortable in. The rental cost was pretty affordable, there is an easy return procedure following the wedding, the fabric was nice, and they even accepted a couple of orders after the 3 month cut off time.
The dresses arrived about two weeks before the wedding date. Anyone who’s been married knows this is a stressful time period all in itself. The dress arrival date is stated in the policy and I was prepared for that, but I wasn’t prepared for the issues that arose from the moment my girls opened their packages.
All four of my maids received one of their two dresses without a tag attached. Company policy is that the tag on the unworn dress needs to be in tact upon return to avoid an additional rental charge. I freaked and called the company immediately, and they noted the accounts, but this is not something I should have been worrying about. On top of that, one maid received only one dress and the other arrived several days later. Those days in between that we waited were another stress I shouldn’t have dealt with.
The company advertises that they provide dresses that fit all shapes and sizes, which I think is a really great idea. However, I don’t see a reason why they display a sizing chart to help you find the best fit. I personally don’t believe your measurements even matter. When you compare them to the chart, you’ll find that there is no dress that’s going to fit you comfortably in every way. I would almost suggest, even though I don’t fully believe this myself, that you just choose two dresses as close as possible to your everyday sizing.
My girls had to use tape and safety pins to wear their dresses and were uncomfortable the whole time. LBD gives you an option to get a third size for $ 25 if neither of the original dresses fit. After all is said and done, you’d be waiting for that dress to arrive and your total cost (if you rent the cheapest dress at $ 50) would run close to $ 100 ($ 50 rental, $ 13 shipping, $ 5 insurance, $ 25 fee for the third dress that may not even fit either). This is still cheaper than buying in store, but misleading in terms of the convenient cost advertised for renting as opposed to purchasing elsewhere.
I feel guilty for even asking my girls to rent from LBD, because personally I would have preferred paying a little more for a dress that I knew was going to stay in tact during a long wedding day.
Finally, I would not recommend using Little Borrowed Dress. I think there needs to be more sizes available. I hope that the missing tag situation improves for those that will use this service, otherwise that policy needs to be changed. I understand mistakes, but to mess up the orders of ALL of my maids was too much.

Truly the worst choice I made regarding my wedding. I thought this would be a great option for my bridesmaids, some of whom have a number of dresses from other wedding and really don’t want to pay hundreds for another, and others who are very particular and would definitely rather spend the money to purchase and make alterations. However the terrible customer service and extremely low level of professionalism liken this operation to an after school club rather than a business.
My first appointment just to look was about 20 months before my wedding. The next was about a year before my wedding and I got all the particulars — decided on a color, got the order by dates, logistical details, etc. About 6 months after that I happened to be checking their website for new photos and reviews and saw that the color I had chosen was no longer listed. I called to inquire and was told that they were no longer producing new dresses in that color, but 2013’s styles would be available and I was relieved.
However 3 months later, when my bridesmaids were ordering their dresses, they were told that in fact the color was no only available if the dresses were purchased at the discounted rate to own of $ 75. While that is cheap to but a bridesmaid dress, it’s 50% more than the rental charge of $ 50 and therefore not a bargain for dresses they won’t be advertising for use anyway. But since no one bothered to inform me of the policy changes it was too late for me to go in another direction. So I was manipulated into buying all the dresses.
When the dresses arrived, it was clear they were in different stages of wear and came from different dye lots. Some had sizes sewn in, some didn’t. The straps to hang the dresses from were in different spots on some than others. But they were uniform enough and I distributed them.
Then a couple of weeks later my sister in law noticed a number of pulls in her dress, and when I called to see what could be done to correct the problem things got the most frustrating yet. It took 4 days for someone to finally get on the phone with me and tell me what was going on, which was less than 3 weeks before the wedding, and they did about everything possible to NOT replace the dress. After much maddening back and forth the agreed to send a replacement, which arrived 3 days before the wedding.
This company has a lot of serious growing up to do, and would benefit from a significant investment in their customer service relations. I would absolutely not recommend them.

Lovely, simple dresses.
I do like the fact that they give you options to rent or buy. However, their sizes are a little skewed (they run quite big!). My sister who is normally a 0, will most likely have to tailor their 0 – 2. Which is unfortunate, because the whole reason why I wanted LBD was because of their option to rent.
Rental prices are great, however their buying prices are a bit steep.
The bridesmaid dress consultant was an absolutely lovely person. She was super helpful and stayed with us the entire period. I was also emailed a detailed color/​style/​size dress options that my MOH tried on.
