Understand this is a tourist trap, plus a place where locals get great deals. Very loud and messy. LL, clearance racks! There is also deli food type place on LL as well as a nice looking restaurant. Packed full of everything.

This Macy’s is insanely huge, so much so that it is completely overwhelming. Although it has anything and everything you could want, it’s really just too huge, too confusing, and too crowded (and in a very touristy, crowded, stressful part of NYC) for me to enjoy shopping there with any frequency. If you have a lot of patience, go for it. I tend to prefer smaller stores that are more manageable when it comes to shopping in person.

Such a big fuss and I hated it! So posh, so many people there, so expensive! Didn’t buy anything.

This is the largest Macy’s store in the world! It is definitely gigantic and you can just about find anything you could ever need here.
My GF and I came here to look for a watch for her and there was a decent selection available! It was reallly crowded this time, probably because of promotions. I personally think they’re a little under-​staffed at this location since we had to wait quite some time to get service at some of the stands.
I don’t mind waiting, but it didn’t seem like the employees cared or paid enough attention to acknowledge us. It took them like 5 minutes to see us standing next to them. even though it’s not a big deal, I assume people still come to department stores for the enjoyment of great service, personal interaction and the benefit of seeing goods in person. On the contrary, I felt more inconvenienced than helped — which just can’t be good for modern brick and mortar retail.

Love going to Macy’s as my one stop shop for all kinds of items, home ware, clothing options and accessories.

Largest Macy’s I have ever seen! 9 floors and about ¾ mile long. Tons of clothing and merchandise. A must see. I did get lost once.

Ein tolles Erlebnis, als internationaler Tourist bekommt man 10% (einfach googlen: Macy’s discount tourist).

This place is way too big, almost like a giant John Lewis, but a lot messier! The sales people there can get very annoying, I spent most of my time in the perfume department, wanting to buy something for my other half. Seriously, they pull you from one station to another, making you smell all these aftershaves that THEY like. I asked for a particular bottle and name, and they bring out something totally different. It annoyed the hell out of me!
I then walked off and got a lady to help me, whom actually listened, didn’t try to sell me crap from elsewhere! I finally bought one bottle, and she even gave me loads of samples to go with it. The dudes were just looking and kissed their teeth, if they did their jobs properly rather than annoy people, they may get a sale and a commission at the end of the day.
The shoe department is a no go zone, seriously, the state of that is worse than primark!!! The direction system is annoying as well. I wouldn’t go back, rather go to normal shops and enjoy shopping in peace!

I can’t handle this Macy’s location. Even though this is basically a one stop shop for anything you may need — clothes, furniture, bedding, accessories, shoes, home décor, etc. is it always crowded and the customer service is awful with no sense of urgency in checking people out. I rather shop online.
During the holidays, me and my family saw a big sale in the ornaments section and just wanted to check out 5 ornaments that were discounted (for a total of $ 20). We waited in line (with 7 people ahead of us) to cash out our items, and after 15 minutes we noticed the line barely moved. There was only one cashier working, and people were buying 20+ ornaments because of the sale. The cashier took forever to scan each ornament, THEN individually wrapped each ornament in tissue paper and slowly placed EACH ornament in a box.
It was one of the most painful things I’ve experienced. The cashier had no sense of urgency and it took around 10 minutes per person to check out. The line probably grew to 15 + people after an hour. Why wasn’t there any help or assistance in this department?
Basically, the moral of the story was that it was not worth it to wait an hour in a line to buy 5 ornaments worth $ 20. This place is overcrowded, full of tourists, and the staff is not helpful. Just look at the window displays and shop online.

This place is overwhelming. Most malls in America wouldn’t even fit into this one store. I made my sisters happy by going in with them but would probably never have bothered if not for them.
9 floors, not enough elevators, and confusion over where to make purchases. ie. If you want to buy shoes (located on the 2^nd floor) but want to continue shopping, don’t take the shoes from the 2^nd floor. They want you to pay for them on that floor in that department to ensure your salesperson gets their commission. You’d think an establishment of this magnitude, coupled with advanced technology, would enable the right person to get their commission regardless of which register you make the purchase.
Overall, this place is impressive if you’re visiting as a tourist, especially for window viewing around Christmas time, but I would save yourself some money and doing your shopping in NJ where clothing and shoes are tax free.

Macy’s est un grand magasin où l’on se perd forcément en cherchant un rayon ! Les prix sont plus intéressants qu’en France mais rien d’exceptionnel non plus. Avec le passeport Français on obtient une réduction de 10% mais nous on eu le droit à 25% car c’était le Friends & Family Day ! Cependant les tarifs sont bien supérieurs au Woodbury Common Outlet situé à 1h de Manhattan…

It’s an «institution,» with something for everyone (who wants to wander around aimlessly in a scary maze of an airless dept. store when you could be OUTSIDE TAKING IN THE SIGHTS OF THE MOST AMAZING CITY IN THE WORLD?!?), and it sure does put on one heck of a Thanksgiving Day parade, but whyohwhyohwhyohhhhhh does every visitor to the big apple feel the need to visit this time (and $$$) trap?!? Phew, got that out of my system!
As a native New Yorker, I have to confess I’d never been here until out of town friends started coming to THE BIG APPLE and (even if they never shop in Macy’s in their own home towns…) felt the cultural/​touristic OBLIGATION to check this place out (to say they’d been there). It DOES have EVERYTHING (overpriced, hard to find, claustrophobically stuffed) and I suppose if you’re into it, you can wander the massive CANYONS and up and down every floor, you’re bound to find SOMETHING, but it’s just not my scene… (can you tell?!?) Multiple «shops,» places to eat (nice food court downstairs, numerous restaurants, multiple Starbuxxx…) so you’re all set… Browse around, tell all your friends you’ve been here, buy something you really don’t need, and then, when you’re done, hit the streets and enjoy the REST of NYC!!!

Hugeeeee Macy’s store. It has about 12 floors? Or more I have no idea! I was lost half the time. But you can definitely find any retails inside this Macys. They put up nice decorations for Christmas also.

Macy’s Herald Square… So much to do, so much to see! Seems like the whole world is in here! Stopped in earlier this month to see the annual flower show displays. (I work nearby and it’s such a treat passing their special window displays throughout the year!!) It was a Saturday evening and the first floor was paaacked. People everywhere: walking, stopping, taking pictures, and blocking all the aisles… But what do you expect? It’s apparently «the world’s largest store».
I was being a tourist all day so I was in the right mindset/​completely okay with the massive crowds… If you happen to have the time and patience to hit each floor, you can actually find some quality sales along the way. Walked around for 2 hours and got my workout in without even noticing. My fitbit was happy since I added almost 4K steps in.
Of course I had to pass by the beauty section before leaving and stopped at the Benefit bar. A lovely sales associate took the time to introduce me to some new goodies that came in. She was so helpful and even offered to test the products on me. Free mini-​makeover before my date? Yes please!
If you’re here on a mission to find the perfect gift for your significant other, I’d probably choose to go elsewhere before stopping in here. It’s easy to get side-​tracked with the endless floors worth of merchandise. If you aren’t looking to buy anything and just need a place to kill time and browse, by all means, stop in and check this store out!

Simply reviewing the Gucci store inside Macy’s. Wil Lopez in the shoe department in gucci was a sweetheart! Very helpful and patient! He made my purchase worth while and I Really Appreciate how attentive and accommodating he was! Go to Gucci! Ask for wil Lopez ! Trust me you wont regret it! I even received a thank you letter in the mail how awesome is that! Once again the best experience ever!

So I have a purchase from after Christmas. I bought several pairs of pants for my brother. Whatever he liked, he kept. Haven’t had a moment to do the returns. I walked into Macy’s Herald Square. I approached the first open register I see. The woman behind one of four opened registers says «How can I help you?» I informed the woman that I would like to return three pairs of pants. Sue (older Caucasian woman in the Men’s Ties Department) informs me that I may not return the items with her and that I had to do my returns on the 5^th floor where the men’s pants were sold. I told her that I have returned a dress on the 1^st floor with no problems and no women’s clothing were sold on the first floor. She still insisted to me that I had to go upstairs.
It was frustrating having to deal with going through the crowded, tourist filled, store to get to the elevators to go up to the 5^th floor. On the fifth floor, I could not find an open register. Once I found an opened register, I did my returns with no problems. I then asked the gentleman if I was able to return those pants at any register and he replied yes.
So now I went back downstairs to the same associate behind the register to look at her name tag. I told Sue to be on the look out for Corporate or Human Resources to reach out to her so that she can relearn the store policies. She mumbled something which is when I lost in and went to any random associate and demanded a manager.
5:56pm Sharon (older African American woman in the Polo Ralph Lauren area) asked me to wait and that she will get me a manager. At 6:06pm, still no manager. I was informed that the managers who opened finished their shift and left for the day. In my mind I want to know why there are no managers on the floor. Sharon had to go downstairs for a manager. At 6:07pm, still no manager. Karen (a manager with a red name tag) emerged and when I explained the situation, she asked me a series of questions «did you have your receipt?» «did the clothes have tags on?» I told Karen that she never even allowed the items to come out of the bag to get that far.
Karen asked if I had a minute to spare. I already lost 15 minutes waiting for her arrival, what’s another. She walks away and comes back minutes later with a voucher of $ 25 Macy’s money. So it’s like hush money to quiet/​patronize me. Like a sell out, I took it.
Be an educated consumer. If ever an associate responds with «it’s company policy,» politely ask them to produce it.

This is a review for their furniture. Great selection, friendly sales people, and the delivery of my new sofa went perfectly.
I’d much rather buy here than R&F.

It’s two years later and Macy’s has really gone downhill. Recently I read about their serious financial problems, and it’s very easy to see why that has happened… five days ago, I called to have a bra put «on hold» for yesterday. Not only did no one answer in the bra department until I’d had to call back repeatedly, but I was told they’ll only hold things for one day and therefore I’d have to call back every night (which would amount to three more calls) if I wanted to keep the item «on hold». I was particularly concerned because they only had two available in the size and color I wanted. The woman I spoke to was at least pleasant, and she gave me two direct phone numbers for the «Bali» (bra) department which I could call if no one answered at the main bra department number.
The next night, I began calling at about 7:30 p.m. and no one answered. I was too annoyed to call the «Bali» numbers, so I called the administrative offices. It was impossible to hear the person who answered, but supposedly she connected me to the bra department — but I was on hold forever and no one answered. Then I called the first «Bali» number and someone answered — but when I began talking, she HUNG UP on me. I called that number again and let it ring endlessly, but no one answered — and the same thing happened when I called the other «Bali» number.
The next morning, I called the administrative offices again and spoke to a pleasant woman — but when I told her I wanted her to retrieve the bra and hold it in their offices until two days later, she said that wasn’t possible (that was after I’d told her my husband & I have spent a lot of money at Macy’s over the years and I’ve been a customer since 1978).
Even with the current sale, Amazon’s price for the same bra was almost 25% less than Macy’s — so out of spite for the intolerable and inexcusable experience with Macy’s, I ordered the bra from Amazon.

Llegó un momento donde sólo subía escaleras por diversión porque parecía que nunca iban a terminar. Posta. Bocha de ganas y paciencia para recorrer Macy’s como corresponde, en mi caso fue una visita muy veloz jaja.
En los 1ros pisos están las marcas más grandes e importantes, en el 6to creo que ya empecé a encontrar locales de vestidos de novia onda la Nana Fine, súper tétricos jajaja.
Los precios un poco altos, pero calculo que si buscas, algo copado se encuentra.

ANDA CON PACIENCIA!
El lugar es enorme, tendrá como 9 pisos LLENOS de cosas.
Esta dividido por sectores, ropa, vajilla, bazaar, etc.
Tenes que ir con ganas porque suele estar muy lleno.
Si buscas, hay buenos precios, y ademas tienen un descuento para extranjeros si presentas el pasaporte.
La decoración del lugar es muy buena, es lindo de recorrer, tiene baños en casi todos los pisos y distintas cafeterías, también una por piso. Están buenas para descansar cada tanto porque de verdad es agotador el lugar (igual son chiquitas y suelen estar llenas)
Es un lindo paseo, pero quizás hay mas lugares que venden este tipo de cosas, no tan caras, y en las que perdes menos tiempo teniendo en cuenta las dimensiones del lugar.

I ran out from office at lunch break to get my bf a bday gift there.
No customer in Gucci. I asked the salesman downstairs where’s men’s collection, he seemed really grumpy, just pointed the way without a word.
Anyway, I went to upstairs. The salesman there was really helpful and polite! I asked many questions, asked him to show me different products, he’s really patient and gave me many suggestions.
The whole purchase was fast and feeling delightful.

4 stars based soley in the beautiful Peanuts gang (Charlie Brown) window displays they had this year for Xmas. The windows were gorgeous.
The store was an absolute zoo…3 hour wait to see Santa. Lines galore, several escalators put of service… thankfully I didnt need to do any shopping.

Macy’s Harold Square is a beautiful store now that it has been renovated. I used to like to go when I need something special. I have found that their merchandise quality has deteriorated over the years. It’s no wonder they mark it down and have one day sale every day! They spend a fortune mailing catalogs and send tons of emails. It just isn’t enticing me.
I had a recent disappointing experience when I purchased a mattress. Their computers are old in that department. The system was lousy. The mattress I found on line didn’t have a floor display. I was talked into something I was not sure I wanted. The worst part was when I checked the details on the receipt. The salesman ordered the wrong mattress. I did have a decent experience with customer service on the phone. The representative changed my order, still gave me the sale price, and arranged delivery.
Mattress delivery was another bad experience. They must have been on a rush time frame. It was raining that day. They took the plastic off the mattress in the hall outside my apartment. The helper must have touched it against something. I saw the grease smudge on it after they were gone. I took pictures of it. I thought about complaining. In the end I didn’t want the hassle. I decided I wouldn’t buy a mattress from them again. It doesn’t matter if it’s a good price of not!
All I can say is it’s a fun store for the annual flower show. Otherwise buyer beware!

Todo brasileiro diz que você não pode deixar de conhecer a loja, quando você chega lá se decepciona.
Eu particularmente só perdi meu tempo ali, não tem nada barato, não recomendo a visita.

This is by far the best Macy’s store. I think some of their other stores tend to be more run-​down, but this is the flagship, and they know it. Situated in Herald Square (Macy’s Square), it is an amazing site. There is a big banner saying, «Largest store in the world.» There is a pedestrian only seating area located right in front.
The store is huge…7 floors I believe. There is a fancy restaurant on one of them apparently with a view of the Empire State building. The merchandise is expansive and of good quality. I don’t know if it’s just the lighting and décor, but it’s fun to shop here.

Vor mehr als einem Jahr habe ich meinen Bericht zu Macy’s geschrieben und war seitdem noch ein paar Mal dort gewesen.
Nun aber lohnt sich eine Aktualisierung, da Macy’s komplett umgebaut und renoviert hat. Alles erstrahlt in neuem Glanz.
Nicht nur das Haupthaus für die Damen und der Eingangsbereich mit den Kosmetikartikeln, auch das Men Store ist komplett neu gestaltet worden und das Wie, kann sich wirklich sehen lassen.
Alle Etagen wurden gedreht und neu arrangiert. Nichts ist wie vorher und so vieles ist vie besser! :-)
Mehr Struktur, mehr Übersichtlichkeit und viel mehr Platz, bei gefühlt grösserem Sortiment. Wirklich sehr gut gelungen!
Ein Besuch lohnt somit nach wir vor, oder immer noch, oder weiterhin. Wie man es auch dreht und wendet. Macy’s und New York gehören einfach zusammen. :-)

Ce n’est ni plus ni moins qu’un grand magasin de luxe où les touristes affluent pour dépenser des fortunes inconsidérables ! On se croirait boulevard Hausmann!
Le corner parfum et beauté est très bien agencé avec des employés qui offrent des échantillons à chaque pas que l’on fait !
Aucun achat effectués par contre!

Macy’s, das Riesen Klamotten-​Geschäft kenne ich Schon, seitdem ich damals meinen Austausch in die USA gemacht habe. Hier waren wir gestern nach der Highline (was man auch UNBEDINGT machen muss!) und haben Klamotten geshoppt. Glück gehabt, gerade alles on Sale und ab einen bestimmten Kaufbetrag gab es auch noch Extra Cash wieder zurück. So haben wir viele Babyklamotten für unverschämt niedrige Preise ergattern können, was für Deutschland überhaupt nicht vorstellbar gewesen wäre! Auf jedem der 7 Stockwerke plus Keller gab es außerdem noch Fressstände wie Meckes, Starbucks und Co! Typisch Amiland eben! ;))

Nous n’avons pas du tout aimé ce magasin où les vêtements né sont pas à la mode européenne et où tout est très cher. Nous avons fait de bien meilleures affaires dans le New Jersey.

C’est grand et impressionnant mais ps davantage que les grands magasins à paris. Ce n’est pas là qu’on aura fait notre shopping !
Macy’s vaut quand même le détour dans la mesure où c’est assez central. Au niveau de la mezzanine on trouve une annexe de l’office de tourisme de la ville de New York. On y obtient sur présentation du passeport une carte offrant 11% de réduction.

Shopping deluxe. War schon oft hier, jedoch jedesmal geflasht. Beeindruckt und typisch amerikanisch. Besonders die 8. Etage mit dem einzig wahren Weihnachtsmann. Ich könnte hier Möbel kaufen zu bezahlbaren Preisen, die ich in Deutschland nicht mal für Geld kriege. Die Themenschaufenster sind besonders sehenswert.

na ja, Kaufhaus halt, es ist groß, es ist schön, es ist anders,
eine andere Dimension halt, aber eben auch vom Gedrängel her.
Ich war an einen April Samstag 2014 da, wartete mit gefühlt Tausenden kurz vor zehn auf Einlass und ließ mich dann durch die Massen treiben. Hatte was von Montagsdemo :-).
Das Angebot ist reichlich groß, super präsentiert, wenn man speziell zum Shoppen herkommt und ein Wochenende Zeit hat ganz cool, aber mal eben nebenbei ein Schnäppchen machen, ist nicht so einfach, dazu muss man die Struktur verstehen und Zeit mitbringen, gezielt angehen … Dafür dass diese Ur-​Kaufhaus schon so viele Jahre auf dem Buckel hat, wurde es immer gut frisch gehalten, und natürlich den Originalen ersten Rolltreppen. Den Wegeplan auswendig lernen und dann los.
Essenstechnisch gibt es viel aber nicht wirklich Anspruchsvoll, klingt immer erst gut, aber auf den zweiten Blick dann doch eben nicht.
Nach einer Stunde beschloss ich, Schluss mit mal eben einen Überblick verschaffen,
etwas außerhalb essen gehen und Times Square bei Tag und danach Central Park anschauen. War eine gute Entscheidung :-)

Ce n’est ni plus ni moins pour moi qu’un Galeries Lafayette américain, avec des articles à tomber et vous faire baver mais seulement de loin (parce que quand vous verrez les prix, vous aurez même peur de vous approcher).
Privilégiez un bon outlet dans le New Jersey: là vous pourrez faire du vrai shopping.
Effectivement, à faire pour dire que vous y êtes allés, mais si vraiment vous n’avez pas le temps, né vous en voulez pas. Vous n’aurez rien raté.

Mucha fama, mucha fama, pero esto es el Corte Inglés de allí, solo que con mucha más gente (si tal cosa es posible) y con unas instalaciones tremendamente cutres en el momento que traspasas el umbral de las primeras plantas. Me recordó poderosamente a los últimos y nefastos días de Galerías Preciados, cuando tenían todo tan mal mantenido y se veía que iba a caer que daba hasta grima ir a comprar allí.
Mi consejo si vais es que no os molestéis en subir a las plantas cuyas escaleras mecánicas son obviamente antediluvianas, lo que hay ahí es más apropiado para la gente que vive en la ciudad (hogar y similares) y da una sensación muy mala que no tendréis con las luces de colorines y la música atronadora de las plantas inferiores.

Macy’s Herald Square… the World’s Largest Department Store — ob das tatsächlich stimmt weiß ich nicht, allerdings erstreckt sich das Kaufhaus über 2 Gebäude und 11 Etagen.
Hier gibt’s von Gepäck, Möbeln, Textilien, Schuhen, Accessoires, Sportwaren, Haushaltswaren, Uhren, Parfum, Kosmetia alles. Ein Starbucks und kleine Snackläden verhindern das die Kunden nicht aus den Latschen kippen.
Hier kann man echte Kilometer zurücklegen und sich hoffnungslos verlaufen.
Mir war das ganze viel zu groß. Wir verbrachten dort mehrere Stunden aber ich hatte schon nach kurzer Zeit keinen Bock mehr mich durch die Massen an Artikeln zu wühlen. Außerdem war es sehr überlaufen und ständig wurde gedrängelt.
Wenn man in der Gruppe einkaufen geht und sich dann fürs Shoppen trennt sollte man sich einen guten Treffpunkt ausmachen, sonst findet man sich nie wieder ;-)

quand je me rend à NYC je vais toujours là un mall mais ENORME sur x étages donc qq heures à vous perdre dans l’univers de la mode, attention un vrai labyrinthe.
Vous sortirez de là avec qq sacs croyez moi.
Vous pouvez y manger un bout après qq heures sur vos pattes.
Y en a qui vont dire oula j’ai pas le courage mais quand vous allez à NYC il faut en avoir vous allez là bas pas que pour visiter les fringues aussi of course

Macy’s, eine Institution. Wie das KaDeWe. Nur nicht ganz so exklusiv und mit dem Glanz. Hier wollte ich unbedingt hin und es hat sich gelohnt.
Dieses Kaufhaus ist schon ein Schönes. Viele exklusive Marken lassen sich hier finden und preislich ist dabei vieles im rahmen des Ertragbaren. So kostet ein Hugo Boss Hemd bspw. so um die 50 – 60 $. Huch, heute und morgen massiv Prozente auf alles? Und da kostet es nur noch 35 $. Das sind Schnäppchen.
Für mich sprang leider nichts heraus, da meine Kreditkarte versagen musste. Naja, nicht so dramatisch, dann eben kein Geld ausgeben.
Besonders die Damen können hier viel Geld lassen. Ich hatte das Gefühl, das Michael Kors hier einen Exklusivvertrag hatte. Jede Etage was von ihm bzw. seiner Kollektion direkt ins Gesicht. Da die Amis sich auch auf ihren Prom feiern, ist man hier für ein Kleid gut beraten. Auch Jessica Simpsons vertickert hier ihre Schuhkollektion.
Polo Ralle und seine Konsortenfreunde haben alle einzelne, kleine bis große Bereiche für ihre Klamotten.
Die Food-​Etagen sind nicht so schön, das kann man besser. Oben gibt es sogar eine Abteilung für Kinder und Babys sowie eine kleine Hochzeitsabteilung.
Falls ich nochmal in NYC bin, gehe ich wieder her und dann kaufe ich auch! Ching Ching!

Shoppingfeeling pur, was man mit tausenden Menschen teilt. Wer Menschenmassen nicht magsollte nicht hereingehen, ansonsten auf ins Getümmel und lässt die Kreditkarte glühen.
Alle NY-​Besucher bekommen 10% visitor Rabatt, einfach zur Info gehen und abholen. Die Rabattkarte gilt drei Tage und auf so viele Einkäufe wie man schafft.

Der Besuch von Macy’s gehört zu einem New York Aufenthalt unberdingt dazu.
Man sollte dieses Kaufhaus unbedingt von außen und besonders von innen gesehen
haben. In größten Kaufhaus der Welt werden Waren auf ca. 10 Stockwerken angeboten.
Zwar gibt es hier weniger sogenannte Schnäppchen, aber allein schon wie die Waren Präsentiert werden ist eine Augenweide, man sollte nur genau aufpassen das man sich in diesem Haus nicht verläuft !! Wer hier hineingeht sollte sich auch viel Zeit lassen.
Leider ist die Food– Abteilung im Untergeschoß in den letzten 30 Jahren etwas geschrumpf, aber sie ist immer noch sehr Sehenswert.
Einfach spitze sind auch die alten Rolltreppen aus Holz, aber gut aufpassen beim Betreten oder Verlassen derselben. Ein Besuch bei Macy’s bringt auf jeden fall sehr viel Spaß !!!

Das größte Kaufhaus der Welt. Und es gibt hier wirklich alles, jedoch sind auch viele Käufer da. Wer aus Europa kommst bekommt einen Gutschein über 10 Prozent für alles, in allen macy’s in den USA. Und er gilt 30 Tagen! Ich kaufte in Naples ein, das Haus ist kleiner aber der selbe Service und fair.

Entgegen dem teueren Image der Marke Macy’s findet man hier auch viele absolute Schnäppchen, die den Koffer ruck zuck füllen! :)

Reizüberflutung ohne Ende Man wird immer fündig & für jede Frau, die gerne stöbert, sollte etwas mehr Zeit einplanen. Ist immer eine Reise wert & bei jedem NY Besuch Pflicht :)

TH Shop war gut, da habe ich gleich mal außerplanmäßig zugeschlagen

Unglaublich! Einkaufen hier ist nahezu eine Freizeitattraktion. Ich war zur Weihnachtszeit hier einkaufen und bin drei Tage hintereinander rein, nur um mir die Auswahl zusammenzustellen, die ich einkaufen will. In NY einkaufen geht mit Plastik reibungslos, ganz ohne Kassen und anstehen.
Ich suche mir einen Artikel, werde sofort vom Personal angesprochen, das den Artikel auf meine Größe per Scanner prüft zwei Minuten später kommt ein Läufer, der die Ware in der entsprechenden Größe bringt. Will ich die Ware kaufen, lege ich meine Kreditkarte vor, digitale Unterschrift und weiter.
Einfach der Hammer und die meisten Supermarken sind hier echt günstiger als in Deutschland. Obwohl total überfüllt und viel zu voll, läuft das Einkaufen hier sehr entspannt, weil das Personal einfach so unglaublich Dienstleistungsorientiert ist. Aus Deutschland kommend, habe ich hier die ersten Tage erst mal n Kulturschock bekommen, so freundlich und zuvorkommend von Verkäufern bedient und beraten zu werden.
Das Macys bietet einfach nahezu alles was das Herz begehrt und noch mehr. Auf jeden Fall Pflicht bei einem NY Besuch!

ist ein halber Tag schnell weg.
Zur Zeit wird viel umgebaut, die Weihnachtsdeko aufgehängt und der Black Friday vorbereitet.
Tipp: Im Visitor Center unter Vorlage des Reisepasses einen 10%Rabattgutschein abholen !

Ein besonderes Muss in der Weihnachtszeit, denn außer vielem was man verschenken kann auch wunderschöné Dekorationen in den Fenstern.

Plus grand magasin du monde donc, oui mais ce n’est pas forcément du meilleur goût et vous pouvez vous y perdre. sachez tout de même qu’un bâtiment concerne uniquement la femme, l’autre l’homme. sincèrement c’est survendu

Si vas con tiempo !.. puedes encontrar (ropa) articulos de marca y primera calidad a muy buen precio. no dejes de visitar y comprar en Macy’s .!

Grand magasin à New York qui ressemble fortement à nos Galeries lafayette. On y trouve de tout! Pour les touristes francais, n’oubliez pas d’aller chercher la carte macy’s à l’accueil qui vous donne –10% sur quasiment tous les rayons. Il faut juste un passeport et il y a peu de monde.

Macy’s sur l’île de Manhattan à New York, serait le plus grand magasin commercial du monde.
C’est un genre de Galerie Lafayette, mais x4.
Avec ces 9 étages, vous trouverez largement votre bonheur à des prix assez bas, surtout avec le taux de change EUR vs. $.
Sachez aussi que c’est le troisième site touristique de New York le plus visité après la Statue de la Liberté et l’Empire State Building.
Petit bémol: le relatif bazar à l’étage des chaussures pour femme. A certains endroits, vous risquez de marcher sur des chaussures qui jonchent le sol. Car certains présentoirs débordent de modèles.
Petites astuces:
1– Pour nous/​vous, les touristes, Papou des Carpates, allez présenter votre passeport au Visitor’s Center au 1er ou 2ème étage. Vous bénéficierez d’une carte de réduction de 10% sur tout le magasin. Allez-​y né faites pas votre Bougre d’extrait de cornichon, foncez.
2– Prenez un dépliant distribué aux nombreuses entrées qui vous éviterons de vous transformer en un vrai Ectoplasme à roulettes en étant perdu dans ce dédale d’étages et de rayons.
Enfin un clin d’œil aux escalators tout en bois dignes de pièces de musée. (voir la photo).

El descuento que hacen por ser extranjero no se aplica en perfumeria. Cuando estuve alli habia cantidades ingentes de personas comprando y estaba todo revuelto. Parecia la planta de oportunidades del corte ingles. Si te gusta rebuscar hay muy buenos descuentos, pero si eres de los que se aturullan comprando en sitios atestados y revueltos no merece la pena que entres.

Ah Macy’s ! Magasin New Yorkais connu de part le monde qu’on se doit de visiter quand on met enfin les pieds dans la grosse pomme !
Et bien comme à chaque fois qu’un lieux est survendu, le coup classique, c’est la déception…
Oui les rayons cosmétiques sont franchement à voir ! Mais les autres étages… Mouais, mieux vaut né pas trop s’attarder sous peine d’y passer trop de temps au détriment d’autres boutiques New Yorkaises beaucoup plus sympa !
Mention spéciale aux escalators en bois qu’il faut absolument voir et tester :-)

5 Sterne für die Weihnachtsdekoration und die unglaubliche und sagenhafte Weihnachtsabteilung. Ich habe mich dort wie ein kleines Kind gefühlt und die Augen haben entsprechend gestrahlt. Wir waren während des Thanksgiving Wochenendes in NYC und haben den Versuch gewagt am Black Friday ins Macys zu gehen
Ehrlich gesagt ist das nur etwas für ganz hart gesottene, denn diese Massen waren für mich kaum erträglich. Es gab aber an diesem Tag wirklich Rabatte ohne Ende und jeder wollte wohl ein Schnäppchen machen.
Wenn so viel los ist vergeht mir die Lust am Einkaufen und auch an den Schnäppchen. Für das Kaufhaus an sich kann ich nur einen Stern geben, denn es ist ziemlich abgewirtschaftet und unübersichtlich. Also zur Weihnachtszeit und für Weihnachtsdekoration sehr empfehlenswert, sonst wohl eher nicht. Insgesamt also 3 Sterne.

Völlig überbewertetes und unübersichtliches Kaufhaus in NYC. Ich habe keine Schnäppchen gesehen, habe aber dennoch ein paar Klamotten dort gekauft (selbst schuld ;-)). Es gibt Shop in Shop Flächen (z. B. Calvin Klein und Zoo York, bei denen ich aktiv geworden bin), Preise sind aber normal teuer.

Eines der schlechtesten Einkaufszentren, die ich je besucht habe. Mode (zumindest bei den Herren) kann absolut garnichts. Toiletten sind IRGENDWO! Bis man da mal hinfindet, vergeht eine halbe Ewigkeit. Beim Lift wartet man auch um die 10 Minuten, bis mal 1. einer kommt und 2. dieser nicht randvoll ist. Macy’s ist meiner Meinung nach keinen Besuch wert.
Tipp für die Zukunft: Mehr Geld in Toiletten und Lifte investieren!

Pour le coup, je né suis pas fan !! Je trouve ça vieillot et je né suis pas sur que ce soit le plus grand magasin du monde. A voir quand même: les Escalators en bois !

Cette année le Slogan de Macy’s est Believe, tout en grand au dessus d’un grand sapin. A savoir pourquoi ?
Si vous n’avez pas peur de la foule faites-​y un tour (c’est comme un samedi après midi au Printemps à Paris ou Nouvelles galerie à Marseille en plein soldes).
Après quelques heures de marche, nous avons fais une pause au rayon «Cafétéria». Dans un coin reculé du magasin, vous pouvez vous boire et manger.
Un vrai libre service, à consommer sur place ou à emporter (take away) :
— Café, thé, jus de fruit
— Pâtes fraîches avec un grand choix de sauce, un rayon pizza
— Salade bar, un grand choix de légumes, du saumon, des pâtes, et tout pour vous faire une salade à votre goût (9,98 $ le lb, environ 453 g)
— Salades de fruits frais, ananas, goyave, orange, mangue, le tout en morceau (9,98 $ le lb, environ 453 g ce qui fait 24 EUR le Kg)
— toutes sortes de Muffins (chocolats, amandes, miel et noisettes,…)
— des viennoiseries
Après un bon caffe latte and a muffin, nous sommes préparés une bonne «salad bar» and «Fruit salad» pour le repas de soir. c’était très très bon et très frais un peu cher pour les fruits, mais raisonnable, surtout pour ce style d’établissement mais très pratique si vous voulez manger à l’hôtel.
Nous y étions au Staybridge Suites Hotel (
) où nous pouvions nous faire chauffer nos plats et avoir deux bières dans un grand frigo (voir les photos)
Vous avez aussi un coin confiseries et chocolats de noêl. J’ai pu remarqué une boîte où, à l’intérieur il y avait tout le nécessaire pour construire une maison en pain d’épices.
Je né sais plus à quel étage se trouve ce rayon. En effet, c’est un vrai labyrinthe ce magasin, il est divisé en plusieurs parties et il y a plein de couloirs.
Je suis sur d’une chose, je n’ai pas trouvé de «vrai» bûche de Noël dans ce très magasin. Il est surtout dédié à la mode, aux jouets, aux bijoux et à toutes les pièces de la maison (salle de bain, cuisine…)

Amei essa loja!!! Apesar de os preços serem um pouquinho salgado, os eletronicos não são.Meu marido comprou uma camera canon 4 vezes mais barato que aqui no brasil.

Très décevant! Soit disant le plus au monde mais on né trouve pas grand chose de vraiment original et il né semble pas si grand que ça. (il a peut-​être 5M2 de plus que la samaritaine?! lol) C’est un grand magasin comme les autres finalement. L’intérêt est plus architectural avec les escaliers mécaniques en bois. Pour le shopping, il y a des endroits bien plus sympa!
A noté quand même, que les étrangers ont droit à une carte de réduction de 12% en présentant leur passeport au guichet réservé à cette effet.

Macy‘s muss man wenigstens einmal besucht haben, wenn man in NYC ist. In den Stadteilen und in den Malls gibt es zwar auch Macy‘s, aber dieses ist nun mal das größte. Was ich bis jetzt nicht wusste, mir aber eine nette Verkäuferin sagte, das es 11% Discount gibt, auch auf Sale. Man muss in den
1 ½ Floor gehen in das Visitor Büro und den Pass vorzeigen, dann die bekommt man die International Saving Card, die ist dann 1 Monat gültig. Man war sogar so nett, mir für die bereits bezahlten Waren diesen Rabatt noch zu gewähren, obwohl alles zurückgebucht und neu erfasst werden musste. Meinen tausend Dank beantwortete die Verkäuferin: gerne, ist doch mein Job! Da hatte man wieder dieses amerikanische Servicegefühl, das ich diesmal leider so oft vermisste. Danke dafür

Los almacenes Macy’s, son miticos en esta ciudad. Alli podras encontrar de todo lo que te puedes imaginar. Son enormes. Me puse a contar las plantas que tiene, pero al final me perdi. Creo que eran 7, perono estoy seguro. Es enorme. Alli seguro que encuentras aquello que estabas buscando.

Los almacenes Macy’s son como aqui es el Corte Ingles. Allí hay de todo, especialmente ropa. La ropa que hay allí es de marca y muy barata, sobretodo por el cambio euro-​dolar. Cuando fuí me llevé bastantes cosas de alli. En cuanto al lugar, pues como los Corte Ingles que hay aqui en España, sitios bastantes grandes y con varias plantas dedicadas a las distintas secciones.

Le temple de la mode je né suis pas sûr. Pour les mecs, on a pas mal de choix entre les Polos Ralph Lauren, Lacoste ou les chemises Arrow. Par contre pour les pantalons, c’est impossible, yen a pas un seul à ma taille !!!
Et pour les femmes, ma mère et ma soeur se sont débattues 1 heure pour chercher quelque chose de Fashion, mais rien ! Elles ont préféré aller chez Gap !
Par contre la remise Etranger de 10% est plutot sympa !!

Le plus grand magasin du monde, totalement impressionnant avec tout ces étages et avec tout ces ascenseurs alignés.
Un magasin avec un choix immense, attention aux comptes en banque si vous y faîtes un grand tour!
Notez également que c’est ce magasin qui pait le feu d’artifice du 4 juillet à manhattan! bref merci macy’s!

Le temple de la mode. Le plus grand agasin du monde sur 7 etages et 2 batiments.1 étage ou il n y a que des robes de soirées (on reconnait bien là les robes du bal de fin d’ anée des Américaines).
En plus en tant que francais on a droit sur présentation du passeport à une remise de 11%. Sympa. Des vendeurs et vendeuse hypers méga sympa pas comme en frnce et je sais de quoi je parle.
