Dr. Vaughan provides psychotherapy to individuals and couples and specializes in the treatment of anxiety, depression and relationship concerns. Other common areas of treatment include low self-worth, transitions to new phases of life (i.e., new job, parenthood, break-up, retirement) and coping with chronic pain and medical conditions. Dr. Vaughan works collaboratively with other health care practitioners as needed.
A graduate of Duke University, The California Graduate Institute of Professional Psychology and the University of Southern California, Dr. Vaughan has provided her insights for mental health documentaries and several media outlets including TLC/Discovery and BBC TV and radio. Named «Best of 2015» in the category of Marriage Counselor by the Manhattan Award Program.

Dr. Maggie Vaughan has over 10 years of experience providing therapy to individuals and couples. Her approach is eclectic in nature, drawing upon psychoanalytic, existential, humanistic and cognitive-behavioral theories and interventions. Therapy goals aim to provide immediate relief and to address long-standing, ineffectual belief systems, behaviors and relational patterns.
Dr. Vaughan is a graduate of Duke University, The California Graduate Institute of Professional Psychology and The University of Southern California. She worked in Los Angeles for several years and now practices in Midtown West, NYC. She has interviewed for several media outlets including Discovery/TLC and BBC Television and Radio.
