I having been buying wigs and product from this store for many years and often refer it to friends, family & colleagues. They have very stylish wigs made with wonderful hair and affordable prices. Everyone is very friendly, professional and extremely helpful. As a matter of fact, I am on my way there now! I highly recommend you check this store out, you will be amazed and so glad that you stopped in!

Everyone was really helpful, they had a really big selection of wigs as well. Good location near Penn station right in Midtown.

Love this place– they definitely take care of you, but at the same time they give you space to do your thing. The hair isn’t locked away behind a counter, so I don’t feel uncomfortable peering over the clerk’s shoulder while I try to see what’s what.
Not to mention it’s lovely and clean and right near the train!

Holy WOW! So I work for an entertainment company and was sent out on a crazy last minute mission to buy a performance wig. Thought I’d try Mane Beauty because it was close to our midtown office and I was blown away! Beautiful store, HUGE selection, good pricing, and the service… forget it! I had the pleasure of being helped by a wonderful young woman by the name of Aisha who went above and beyond (Including texting me pictures of possible wig alternatives with pricing). I just want people to know this place is great and run by good people.

This place makes me feel like a kid in a candy store. The location can’t be beat. Whenever I’m early for the LIRR I know where I’ll be. From high end to low end, they have it all. My new fave is the olive oil deep conditioners. I can’t stop, but my over processed hair needs all the loving. I’d like to keep this place a secret, but I’ve raved at work because they ask. I’ve colored my own hair with professional dye bought from here. I work at a fashion/​beauty mag and this is the place we go for all our beauty needs. All the stylists know, now you do too.

An amazing array of wigs for every imaginable style. Costume, real hair plus tons of beauty supplies. Reasonably priced and very good costumer service.

Awesome help. Great quality product. The color and length I was looking for was hard to find and they were willing to do a custom. I didn’t have the money for that so I opted to buy a shorter length. Great to know they can do custom. They Even gave me a discount to write a review.

Visited Mane Beauty and completely WIGged out when I saw their incredible selection on the second floor! The sales associates were friendly and very helpful. They helped to make the experience extraordinary and I ended up with three beautiful wigs! Will definitely be returning on my next visit to the city!

Came in to search for a wig for an event, the staff was very helpful and I was able to try on a variety of wigs. I walked out with two lovely wigs, will definitely be back!

This beauty supply store is spot on.
Being a product junky, I honestly was not looking for this place when I stumbled upon it while heading towards the bus stop back to VA! I asked if I could leave my travel bags at the front and they were ok with that. Happy to leisurely walk around load free, I was very impressed by the comprehensive variety of products. I was like a kid in a candy store! Uh oh, product junky feelings are kicking in! They have a huge selection of hair products geared towards kinky-​curly hair textures for moisturizing purposes, and other things like all sort of textures of tracks for weaves, hair for crochet braids and other extension and braid styles, wigs, relaxers, curling irons, blow dryers, ect. They have products for all textures. As I walked around and examined each and every isle, I thought the prices were about right. A pinch higher than what I’m accustomed to seeing, however they sold products that are either less common to find or products that are less mainstream, but definitely high quality. So I was happy to find some of these gems!
Eventually, my arms became really full and a guy working there handed me a carry basket to unload. Thank you Sir!
They also sell things like lotions, sweet smelling shower gels, hair products with labels in Spanish, manicure items… everything. Similar to Ulta, but not as pretentious.
I even asked them if I could take a few pictures for Unilocal,and they were totally ok with it. Score.
My experience was totally pleasant. I am really glad I stumbled upon this place. I may pick up a few more items on my next trip… even though I don’t need them… I have enough hair products… but I’m a proud product junky! LOL

Hidden gem. Your eyes would pop and put big chain stores and other wig shops to shame. Pictures worth a thousand words! Can’t say enough about customer service.

This place is awesome !!! Any hair you want they have. And the customer service is great too.

After a bad experience with a dermatologist who «believes I have alopecia» and losing more than normal hair this place helped me lift my spirits a little. I still have a good amount of hair covering my entire head but I wanted to prepare myself in case I developed bald patches.
On the second floor is where they have all the wigs and everything. I explained my situation to the sales associate and they luckily let you try on 5 wigs with a $ 2 purchase of a cap (hygienic purposes). Keep in mind with card the purchase has to be $ 10 minimum so I would bring cash in case you go here.
I really like one the best but was overwhelmed and didn’t feel ready to accept reality and to purchase a wig. Luckily the associates understood and didn’t push me at all. It’s nice they didn’t take advantage of me feeling vulnerable to try to sell me their product.
I ended up just purchasing some nyx products which they have a huge inventory of in the 1^st floor. This place is very clean and doesn’t have as much stuff as Ricky’s but I feel is has everything you could need. Overall it was a great experience and I loved their cosmetics available.

I went here to get some hair extensions. The woman on the second floor who assisted me was extremely helpful and friendly. She explained the options and helped me find the best match for my hair color /​length.
Great customer service and great selection!

Extraordinary customer service, a HUGE selection of beauty products and/​or hair and reasonable prices. The facility was clean and well organized. I forgot the woman’s name that helped me (young black girl, super friendly) but she made me feel confident and comfortable with my purchase. I’m not sure that you could ask for more. Go there, if you haven’t already. You won’t be sorry!

This place is a must to go too, they have tons of options with wigs from lace front human hair to synthetic, they have great customer service and always willing to help with a smile !!! this is place is like wig heaven, whether your looking for a temp wig or permanent this is the place to go

My wife came here today, and came home extremely happy with not only the wig she chose but also the good service. she said they were all patient with her and accomodating!

This shop has the greatest selection of wigs and beauty supplies and the staff is very, very friendly, courteous and extremely helpful. If they do not have the color or exact style you want
they will order it for you.
