Manhattan Car Wash

Brand new car. Came out with left front and left rear rims full of scratches. In fact, left rear has a deep, 2 inch gash. They of course denied any responsibility since their crystal ball told them that scratches were already there when I brought the car in… AVOID!

NEVER go to this car wash!!! I went today and said please be careful this is a new car. That being said they took the antenna off the car like they always do and then after the 3 minute automated wash it disappeared. No one cared, in fact they got hostile, rude and laughed at me like it wasn’t a big deal. If you don’t care about customer service or if anything happens to your car then go here if not stay away. The management and the staff were extremely rude and my sister and I didn’t feel comfortable being there. They didn’t handle this situation at all and really have no right dealing with the public.

The place is a bit dumpy but the staff was very nice. They did a good job cleaning interior and exterior; Armour-​all tires as well as vacuuming. I paid $ 35 for the elite. An added bonus, I enjoyed watching gallery snobs get splashed by car wash puddles on 24^th Street! It actually makes me want to come back here again.

Wow! Where do I even begin. These guys are heroes! My dog got sick in the car hours before I had to sell it in the middle of the night. There was vomit everywhere. These guys made the car look and smell brand new without breaking the bank. When I arrived to pick it up, they made sure I had plasticizer everything to prevent it from getting dirty before I sold it. And, they even texted me hours later to make sure I was happy with their work. They went so far to offer to clean it again for free if it still smelled. If I wasn’t selling my car, I’d be back there every week.

If your car is covered in salt & sand from winter driving this is a quick and inexpensive way to clean it up. I have always preferred to hand wash my car but when it’s below freezing and I’m in Manhattan this place is alright. I was concerned that the scrubbers would scratch my finish but after a few times through the finish looks as good as new.

My friend got sick in my car. I will spare you the nauseating (get it) details. Anyway, I cleaned the interior the best I could but if you know anything about this, you know how difficult it is to clean up and rid the car of the disgusting odor. This morning, I took my car to Manhattan Car Wash and within one hour my car’s interior (as well as the exterior) looked brand new and smelled as fresh as the day I bought it (14 years ago). The price was right and the people working there were super nice. Highly recommended.

Best car wash in NYC! I did the VIP which is full service exterior and interior. The interior looks like a full detail! They took such great care of everything they did. I highly recommend Manhattan Car Wash — heads and shoulders above Westside Car Wash. Thank you!

Horrendous experience (bad enough that I felt compelled to write my first Unilocal review ever). My car hadn’t been washed in about five months of street parking, and a night parked at West 3^rd and Sullivan Street made it filthy enough to be unbearable; I think someone might have dumped their dinner leftovers on it. Google reviews brought me here over Westside Car Wash, despite higher prices. I paid cash for the most expensive standard wash/​wax package these guys offered and left to get a coffee around the corner. When I came back ten minutes later, they were «done,» but the car looked untouched and still had lettuce on it. I told them the work was unacceptable unless they were willing to refund me, so they gave it another try. I stayed to oversee the second time, and while it at least took longer than ten minutes, the result wasn’t great. They clearly try to do the minimal amount of work they think they can get away with. I’d never come back.

Terrible. More lies and fabrications. From the grammar and syntax, this sounds like the owner himself. Go to another car wash if you care about your car and want to deal with honest, professional people.

I thought this car wash was decent for $ 10. My car was absolutely filthy from snow/​slush and while the car wash itself only took about 2 mins it actually came out cleaner than places I’ve taken my car off Atlantic ave in Brooklyn for nearly double the price.

I come here all the time as it is the best car wash in NYC, although I must say competition is non existent. I would rather get my car wash anywhere else but this is good for convenience. Service is really good and the wash is pretty decent. If you need a car wash in Manhattan, go here! They have a system in their computer where if you go there 10 times you get a wash for free. They could update their equipment though and use better soap.

Fast service. Adequate cleaning considering the cramped setting for a car wash, although they left sand in the door jamb and crumbs on the dash. I’ve had much better.

This is an OK car wash.
I started bringing my company car here because they’re one of a small hand full of places that takes our fleet card. I’d never bring my personal car here though, I only use hand washes except when I’m in an absolute bind. Otherwise I just wash it myself by hand. Overall, the prices are ok, and the service is ok.
Long line at times, but that’s about the only negative.
Nothing special, but just good enough for what it is.

Brought my car there this morning, their hanging drapes put scratches into my car that run the length of the hood and the roof. The manager told me that «the wind» causes scratches, turned his back on me, and closed the door. Never again.

After collecting a terrible odor from water damage in my girlfriend’s car, I did a fair bit of research and decided to bring the car to Manhattan Car Wash. I called them on the phone and they were very flexible about when I could bring the car in and let me keep it there for a few hours after the car was finished, so I could get it on the way back from work. For $ 85, they shampooed the interior (as well as washed the outside). The smell was gone. I was shocked, and got out of my Girlfriend’s dog house. I would absolutely recommend this car wash. And a special kudos to the manager (Gabriel or something similarly sounding)!

Usual stuff. Most likely not going back with the car. Would never let them touch my HD! P. S. BE CAREFUL NOT TO SLIP ON THE ARMORALL SOAKED SIDEWALK ON THE WAY OUT! Peace!

I phoned before I brought my Toyota Camry in. As soon as I pulled in, Paul (who seemed to be the head car washer) greeted me with a smile and asked, «Are you Maria?» I was immediately impressed. Everyone who works here is kind and courteous, including the manager, Mr. Han. They did an excellent job washing the INSIDE and outside of my boyfriend’s car. The car was extremely dirty and dusty since he lives on a packed dirt road in Vermont.
After I came back to pick up the car, they asked me to inspect it. I looked it over, and it seemed fine; when I looked at the trunk (which had already been vacuumed), one of the workers asked me if I wanted him to go over it again because he saw that there was a bit more debris he could vacuum up. I didn’t even have to ask him! While he was doing that, another worker (again, without being asked) wiped down the car one more time!
The price was extremely fair ($ 85.00) given the work they did. I highly recommend them for all of your car washing needs!

I took my SUV for some car detailing lovin’ and came back a happy gal. We had a decent amount of junk in the trunk and they bagged it all up. The interior was clean and smelled nice. Carpet was washed and vacuumed. They cleaned all the nooks and crannies from the inside out. For the price I paid, it was very decent, especially cuz my car is considered a gas-​sucking gi-​normous monster! I was a little weary of the place cuz we didnt get a receipt or ticket for the up front cash we paid. The best thing about this place is that its open 24hrs a day!

$ 12 wash and wax. Try getting that at the Jay Sisters.
