Whether it be in helping you maximize your insurance benefits, or slowly describing your options in choosing glasses or contact lenses. Customer service is hard to find these days, but not at this optometric office. We strive to make your visit with us informative, pleasant, professional, and enjoyable. Lastly, we just started offering same day service!

Our services include comprehensive eye examinations for adults and children, prescription eyewear and sun wear, laser surgery co management, treatment of eye infections, allergies, injuries to the eyes and eyelid, and lastly treating dry eye syndrome in adults. Established in 1999.

Our doctors of optometry both graduated from SUNY College of Optometry and are experts in eye examinations and getting the best prescription for you. We also do contact lens fittings, treat pink eye, discuss lasix, treat dry eye, and treat eye injuries. We also welcome children age 5 and older. Eye examinations are performed 6 days a week for your convenience. Greetings from Manhattan Eyeworks! My name is Dr. David Gross. I have been practicing optometry for over 20 years. In addition, I graduated SUNY college of optometry as well as co-​authored a publication on contact lenses.

I truly believe that healthy eyes lead to productive and meaningful lives. In my experience, I’ve seen too many times where early detection could have mitigated patients degeneration of their vision. Young or old, your vision is the window to the world, and it will determine how you see the world. My goal therefore is to provide complete and lifelong vision care to my patients.

When I am not at my practice, I enjoy spending time with my wife Dorothy and our 4 sons, Joshua, Matthew, Jake, and Michael. My favorite pastimes including excercising (yes, I actually enjoy excercising!), spending time with my family, reading at the beach till sunset or fine dining with friends and family.
