Manhattan Time Service is a godsend! I have used there services twice for two vintage Cartier watches and they have been truly excellent. Owning antique watches can incur costly maintenance. My original quotes from Cartier were three times as much as MTS charged me. Where Cartier was to take upwards of 16 weeks while MTS repaired the inner mechanical workings of my watch, replaced the sapphire crystal, cleaned the watch dial and buffed the case all
In two weeks. They are complete professionals and their work is flawless. Highly recommend!

I brought in my watch to possibly get the metallic band replaced because the clasp kept opening. Instead, they merely cleaned it and the problem was solved. They didn’t even charge me, although I gave them a few bucks anyway.

when i went to take my watch in for a battery replacement, i was happy with how i was treated by Jacob. However, when i went to pick up my watch at the end of the day and was greeted by who i can only assume was the owner, i was absolutely disgusted.
i noticed some scratches on the back of the watch which were not there when i took it in. when i confronted the man and asked what the scratches were he was extremely rude, accusing me of lying, that the scratches were there beforehand and that they have pictures to prove it (of course these never actually materialised). he almost reduced me to tears in the way he spoke to me, without actually listening to what i was saying and then telling me the watch is covered in scratches all over, which it isn’t. It was clear that the scratches had been caused by someone taking the battery cover out as i could not have done this myself.
after verbally abusing me, as a ‘favour’ he buffed it up and the scratches are not visible. he should have done this at the start, rather than arguing with me.
The customer service is appalling — i will not be going back there again to be spoken to in that way. i wish i had walked out without paying. hopefully they haven’t done any internal damage to my watch
AVOID GOING HERE — there are plenty of other competitors who maybe aren’t so vile

Great service. I took several watches into the city for repair. Rolex needed an overhaul as it had stopped. Save $ vs going to Rolex. Higher end Tag and Movado needed new battery and to pressurized. All work was done within a few weeks as promised and the watches were well packaged shipped back to me. It’s been about two months and all keeping good time.

These guys are great. They seem to specialize in repairing high end timepieces but no job is too small. I took in my beat up seiko with a cracked crown and got it back looking better than new, for a very reasonable price. They are straightforward and deliver. Highly recommended, and would definitely go back.

I have been going here ever since I got whacked $ 450 and had to wait 6 months for my watch company to send it back and forth to Switzerland just to have a crystal replaced. These guys are expertly trained on most major watch brands, even those that tell you only the manufacturer can fix it properly. They are super quick and totally honest. They can fix everything from a minor battery repair, to an overhaul of an antique gold watch. Most items can be fixed while you wait (battery), overnight (crystal), or a few weeks (overhaul), and at a fraction of cost to send your watch back to Hermes, Cartier, Patek Phillipe, thru Saks, etc. Although this is not a ground floor retail shop, it is set up for walk in business. The location is clean and the sales staff friendly, even if you are not in the jewelry/​watch trade.

Jacob who i dealt with, was very responsive to all of my questions. I had my Rolex serviced which also needed the Crown and Stem replacing. I also asked about a replacement Crystal, Jacob actually tired to talk me out of it as it was still in good shape, i ended up having it done, but it goes to show that he doesn’t recommend any unnecessary work.
The price is average, higher than some watchmakers on sone watch forums, but cheaper than the Rolex service centre up the road.
I also had a battery replaced in an Armani which was a little pricey for what it was.
I would go back the them without a doubt.
If i have any problems with the watch i will update this review according.

Experienced. Fair price. Rapid repair. They are a REPAIR shop — not just a battery replacement stand.
They fixed my dive watch — new battery, gasket, pressure test — for $ less than some others — in one day.

After my Breitling Navitimer stopped ticking after 5 years of never servicing it, I knew it was time. I didn’t want my watch to be shipped away for 3 months either so I knew sending it to Breitling wasn’t an option. I found Manhattan Time Services after a fair amount of online research and I am very happy I did. Jakub was friendly, knowledgable, and professional and After speaking with him for a little bit at their office, I felt fully comfortable leaving my $ 9k watch with them to be serviced. He told me it would be 2 – 3 weeks to have the work completed and I got a call after 2 saying it was ready. I highly recommend Manhattan Time Services for anyone with a high end watch who is looking to save time and money on a watch repair or servicing.

Watch works better than ever!
You are my favorite repairs. G-​Shock was steam cleaned and the battery replaced and returned to me in like new condition.
But more impressive is that they restored by old Movado Calendomatic, circa 1950. They went over it with a fine tooth comb. When I had a small problem with the stem, they fixed it free of charge.

Excellent speed and precision. It was not difficult, removing and adjusting my watch bands. But the master watch smith did it amazingly, with a few iterations to ensure the fit was just right.
Tip: a little hard to find. Its very close to the elevator
