Is this a halal restaurant, Mexican, or Indian food? Or Moroccan? they seem to advertise all of the above, which is why it pretty much sucks. Choose one thing and stick with it rather than sucking at everything. Seriously in need of good Mexican options in the area. Service is bored & indifferent. Place has a funny smell of cleaning agents, Mexican food, and bad curry. Portion is large and mediocre af

I really like their fajitas here and think they are the best ive ever had. I always get the steak and its always well cooked and juicy. They also give guac, sour cream, and soft tortillas. the meat comes in a sizzling pan with peppers and onions. Deff best fajitas ive had

The food was OK. I didn’t enjoy the mexican. The Moroccan was better. I enjoyed the couscous. The interior design, the décor, the table setting, the lighting, and the mood is really awesome, all middle eastern design with all of the geometrical patterns. The space is not bad for a hole-in-the-wall. Service wasn’t too bad either.

The food here is good… fresh ingredients, decent delivery time. I have to say that $ 14 for a burrito seems high given that it didn’t come with anything and was smaller than what one would get at a Chipotle. Was it higher quality than a Chipotle, you ask? Yes, it was. Is it worth $ 14 and be left hungry afterwards, I think not.

The food here is delicious and best of all, the meat is halal. The prices are quite reasonable and they happily accommodate large groups. They’re open late and during holidays and have good delivery services. Sometimes there’s a wait for meals when dining in, but it’s got a nice atmosphere.

I think someone throw up in the nachos. I’ll give it one star for their effort. It’s best to go during rush hour so the food is fresh and cooked to order.

Terrible service, super rude delivery guy, ordered the nachos and they just turned out to be soggy chips covered in hardened cheese and super salty beans and two sad looking jalepenos

Unfortunately their food is sub par Mexican, and even though I was quite excited to find a halal Mexican spot, the food and service were a disappointment. Tried ordering from here too and took double the expected time for delivery(almost 1.5 hours!). Will have to figure out another spot for when I’m in the mood for Mexican.

Halal Mexican food? Hell yeah! I came here a couple of weeks ago with a friend from out of town who also eats only halal. Their chicken quesadillas are TODIEFOR. The best I’ve had(although I must say, the only other place I know of that has halal mexican is La Canela in Queens, and their quesadillas are great but not THIS great). It comes with a tasty ceasar salad and guacamole/sour cream. My friend had the chicken fajitas which had more vegetables in it than chicken but was still very good and came on a sizzling platter with flat bread. This is a very small place and not good for a large party, but 2 — 8 people is fine. The service could’ve been better as the waitress was not to be seen most of the time. I had to get up at one point and walk across to a table with jugs of water on it and just helped myself. But that’s cool, the food made up for it.

Beef quesadilla is decent. Salad that comes with everything was delicious. Service was just okay, rushed us to order. It has a cozy atmosphere. It’s a nice halal place to checkout if you’re in the city.

I always wondered why people were posting nasty reviews on restaurants when the food was late, etc. Now it’s my turn. 2 hours after my order and 3 phone calls later, i still did not get my order. My credit card was charged of course. People on the phone(women and men) told me that the delivery guy was on his way twice and just lied to my face. Order from this restaurant at your own risk.

Positive: Wide selection of Halal Mexican food. Negative: Non-tasty food with slow service in a small place. Overall: I wouldn’t come back to this place even though it is probably one of the only halal mexican restaurants in the northeast.

I wanted a burrito, but instead I got what tasted like a pizza rolled up in a tortilla. Bleh. Like half of it was mozzarella cheese… unnecessary. And even when I ripped it open and just started eating the fillings(hey, I was hungry and I just spent $ 14 on a crappy burrito!) they weren’t even good! The rice tasted oddly tomatoey, which only enhanced the overall pizza flavor. Definitely not what I wanted when I ordered Mexican. I still like Marakesh, the sister restaurant, but I won’t be coming here again unless I get a weird Italian fusion craving.

I like this place. The staff is great and the food is good. Although they also serve Moroccan food, I’ve only had the Mexican and I have to say that its pretty great. I like the burrito with chicken or steak, its very simple and super flavorful, especially with that rockin’ hot sauce they have. It also comes with a simple fresh side salad. The first time I came here I ordered my lunch and immediately realized that I had forgotten my wallet. I notified the woman who was serving me and told her that I would run home(I live close by) and get my wallet so I could pay for my meal. She insisted that I stay until my order came, finish my lunch and that I pay her whenever I felt like it. She also let me try their mint tea. Of course because I am an honest dude I went straight home to get my wallet to pay. But seriously, she didn’t have to do that, so I was thankful and left a nice tip. I have also ordered delivery and it was hot, quick and well presented, but for me, the way I was treated with genuine care is why I will be back.

The service is so terrible. We had one decent waitress and one VERY rude one. We were a group of 10 and all enjoyed our food. I had seven vegetables, grilled chicken and couscous and I really cannot tell you the last time I had such good Moroccan food… even in Paris where there is North African restaurants all over… FULL of flavor. They also have an incredible hot sauce. Also, very decently priced. But, again my MAIN caveat is to eat in and not expect great service… or to take-out. You WILL enjoy your food. Half of our party ordered mexican and really enjoyed it as well.

One day at work I decided to order a beef burrito from these guys and surprisingly it came with a small but reasonable sized salad on the side. It was a bit bland to start with(I was trying out the greens) but oh my god was that salad dressing delicious and as soon as I added it, it became the best little salad I ever had. In addition to the dressing, the hot sauce wasn’t some crappy pre-packaged shit either. It had zest and flavor in addition to the zing. It made the burrito drool worthy. It was extremely surprising how fresh the salad was, given that it was delivery. Now after further attempts I have yet to luck out with that same delicious salad. So this place is a little like gambling for me. I know it’s most likely a lost cause where the house wins, but once in a while when I do win that small tiny inconsequential win it feels great! Winner, winner, chicken errr… side of salad!

I love their chicken burritos! Everyone I’ve taken here agrees that it’s delicious. It’s also a cute little place that doesn’t really get crowded. Maybe because it’s so hard to find. I also like their chicken fajita and quesadillas, but my favorite by far is the chicken burrito with lots of their hot sauce. It has just the right amount of kick. I would eat this every day if I could.

Poor. Although NYC is not known for it’s great Mexican food… you can certainly do much better than this! Please don’t waste your time or money, even if you live in the restaurant wasteland that is Midtown. To add insult to pallet injury, there were sticks in my burrito! Yes, legitimate pieces of tree. Not edible. This grievous offense could not be covered up with copious amounts of goat cheese. Sorry, Mariachi. Que Ridiculo!
