This doctor’s office is listed as being on east 98 street, but when you call you are directed to East 102 street… a shabby looking building. The visitors appear to be all poor Medicaid recipients in various stages of self disregard . I had a 4:30 appointment. By 5:30 there were still four patients ahead of me, meaning that I would not be seen until 6:45. The front desk woman explained that they were behind that day. She should have told the truth and stated that they overbooked. Better to waste the patient’s time than the good doctor’s time . I could imagine the doctors condition and attention to me after seeing 45 patients crammed ahead of me already. Phew! This is a poorly run operation with no respect for patients and their time. Even before seeing the doctor, I acquired a disdain for the way his practice is run and I walked away to see another podiatrist . I deserve professionalism, though it’s a scarce resource in NYC these days. I’ll go through ten doctors before I find one that is worth a medical school degree. Shame.
