Mash + Grape is a great new way to discover the best craft wines and spirits from independent makers across the globe. We love our small, independent artisans and champion them in our little shop in NYC as well as through an online marketplace and a monthly subscription box.

Our passion is helping you discover better things to drink. We do this through a little shop in the corner of a small island called Manhattan. This is labor of love. And a work in progress. As we discover great creations of winemakers and distillers, we promise to always share them with you. Even if that means beating our colleagues off with a stick to keep them away from the bourbon and single malts.

History

Established in 2014.

Once upon a time in a land far, far away from the F line, there existed a small old fashioned liquor store. Hidden behind thick bulletproof glass, this store nurtured dreams of being a beautiful wine and spirits boutique. That dream came true on April Fool’s Day, 2014 (talk about timing), when a young couple decided to sprinkle some magic dust on the store and share beautiful, craft wines and spirits with the kind people of the land.

Today, the land has changed. There is Citi Bike, for one. Right next to the store. Thank God. And there’s shining new floors in the store! And lights! And cameras! And since this is Loisaida (i.e. Avenue C), there is always action :)

But most importantly, there are gorgeous Wines and Spirits, plucked from independent makers all over the globe, coming into our little store for all to enjoy. So come on in, and take some of these fine creations home today!

Or we’ll just keep drinking them all by ourselves and you won’t have any left.
