History

Established in 1945.

MAXONS’ founder, Max Gersh is an internationally celebrated pioneer of the disaster restoration industry. Max began his career in 1929 with a door-​to-​door laundering and rug cleaning service in lower Manhattan. By 1945, Max founded ‘Services for the Home’ to provide complete home cleaning & repair services through several department stores in the Northeast. Insurance companies came to rely on Max and the ‘7/​24 Restoration Services’ division was created to exclusively handle all property damage restoration work.
