Overpriced and horrible service.
They do a decent job at eyebrow threading but SO PRICEY and the employees are rude.
One time I asked how much it was ahead of time to get eyebrows and upper lip done. I wanted to make sure I had enough cash. Turns out I had just enough exact amount cash.
After getting them done I go pay and the lady takes my money and says «No Tip?» I was apalled. They’re so pricey as is ($ 13 for eyebrows and upper lip, my usual place I pay $ 7 for both). I found her rude and don’t think I’ll be going back.

This review is only for brows. They did a really good job with my brows compared to several other places I’ve been to and for a decent price ($ 8). It’s quick yet thorough, usually no wait (I go during lunch on the weekdays).
True to other reviews, they are not the most pleasant (I hate the small talk anyway), and store doesn’t look the cleanest… but I recommend this place for a quick brow touch up if you are in the area. Nothing special if this location is not convenient for you though.

Disclaimer: I only get my brows threaded here every two weeks ago, so I can’t speak to the other services they offer.
Could they sometimes be friendlier? Sure. But as long as my eyebrows look good for 8 bucks, I’m happy. I’ve had at least three girls do my eyes and they come out nice each time. They also offer a rewards card for ten threads get one free which is a nice little perk.

i am so upset bc i loved threading my eyebrows here.
I waxed my bikini for the first time ever, labor day weekend. about a week ago i noticed a small red bump and figured i had an ingrown?
well, according to my first doctor, who had no choice but to cut the area open, there was so much puss in there she couldnt even find a hair! saw a second dermatologist today who had to cut me AGAIN to let out more puss and a hematoma! 2 lancing procedures, cortisone shots, and antibiotics? Both doctors said they have never seen such an infection!
i REFUSE to do any business at meena anymore. i will definitely file a formal complaint with NYS. the dangers of double dipping are real!!!

Sharon is amazing, went to her after going to the same brow threader for the last 15 years religiously. Last month I went to my threader and she went overboard and thinned out my already thin brows. I waited 2 months to do them again and Sharon made a line for them to grow into, they look great and I am looking forward to forging a long lasting relationship with my new eyebrow guru. Standard threading salon. The woman doing the threading did an adequate job. 2 stars due to shady advertising on their website. Their website has one services tab which lists one set of prices: $ 7 for eyebrow threading. $ 1 cheaper than anyone else in the area I was in so of course I go there. The price listed inside is $ 8, the same price as every other salon in the area. I tell the woman about the discrepancy and she suggests the price listed is for another location. I show her the website with only one price listed for all locations. She says she isn’t the manager and so there’s nothing she can do, which I understand. Because the price is the same as everywhere else in the neighborhood I didn’t go somewhere else this time but I won’t be returning. Update your website.

Just had my eyebrows done, lady did it too quickly & not even thoroughly. There was only one other person in the salon so I don’t understand what the Rush was for. Not very friendly either. Won’t be coming back here again

Really Rude staff. I got a service done for 8.50 and tipped 2 dollars and the lady at the counter told her colleague how cheap I was (in indian) I told her that I understood what she was saying. Just beware these guys will talk BS about you. It’s funny how they get off behaving like this.

I’ve been going to Meena’s salon for a little over a year since its convenient because it’s right near my job. There have been a few occasions where I was unhappy with the outcome of my eyebrows and the ladies are always rude/​unprofessional and give me attitude! I’ve also watched two of the girls argue with customers or talk about customers after they leave. I was very appalled today when I commented that she arched my brows too high after I explained how I only wanted them cleaned up and she didn’t even offer to fix it she just walked to the register for me to pay!!! Absolutely my LAST time doing business there. There have been many times I have been pleased with the outcome but the customer service is horrible and not worth it!

I normally go to threading salons in Queens because they are more inexpensive and I have gotten to know some of the ladies who have exceptional threading skills, but one particular week I had to work late and just could not make back in Queens in time to get my eyebrows threaded. I was looking like I had two 70s porn start mustaches as eyebrows and I was in desperate need of a threading.
I found this place on Google and was apprehensive after reading the reviews, but since beggars can’t be choosers I decided to take the risk and go here on my lunch break. I was not disappointed at all.
I went in and there weren’t any other customers so I was seen right away. I asked for my eyebrows not to be made too thin and she definitely did a great job. I have been going here as my regular place and I’ve been very happy every time. It’s a quick and easy trip on your lunch break if you need a little touch-​up and don’t want to wait on a long line.

i came here on and off for the year that i lived right around the corner. i really wanted to like this place — but sadly couldn’t even after giving them so many chances. i only stopped by when i was really desperate.
the girls are rude and always chatting up a storm. i know you see each other for hours a few times a week — what can you possibly be talking about and can’t take a 5 min break to concentrate on your client’s eyebrows?! some of the girls here are pretty rough and threading here HURTS A LOT.
the girls also don’t disinfect/​wash their hands between clients/​breaks. you can practically smell what they had for lunch cause their hands are right on your face.

This place was never anything special but after my last encounter I refuse to ever come back.
On Monday morning March 2nd, I came in for a facial threading; which I assumed meant eyebrow, chin and upper lip. So after the lady finishes doing my eyebrows, she moves to my forehead. At this point I tell her not to do the forehead. So, instead of asking me what exactly I want done she takes hot wax and puts it on the sides of my face. Confused I was but I wasn’t prepared for what was to come.
Ripppppp. In shock I jump up and look at the mirror and she has the nerve to say excuse me, all rude. We exchanged a couple of words but I think she knew I was a ticking time bomb ready to explode so she stopped for a bit, until I walked out she muttered something, I guess she thought I wouldn’t hear, I turned around and shut her down again.
Now I have this lovely breakout 4 days later; which doesn’t seem to be getting better. Im so mad I’m not going there again. Careless in her part. Beware of the Monday morning fat older Indian lady and beware of their dirty double dipped wax.

First time visiting this salon and was impressed. I needed waxing and threading. I had Shabnam and she is super quick and fun to be around during this waxing process. She did a great job and I would definitely recommend her! This will easily become my new go to salon for hair removal needs.

Against the general consensus of everyone here, I decided to give this place a shot. Bad idea. I’m now left with a hole in both my eyebrows. I can in originally wanting them to help fix a mistake I made while plucking myself. She took all of only 2 minutes and was talking to other employees at the same time. I didn’t throw a fuss bc what can they do? Grow my brows back? Ugh. Never going back.

The girls here do an okay job, nothing spectacular. It’s cheap and gets the job done.
After leaving here my brows don’t look the best they ever have, but they look better than when I walked in!

I had a bad day and just wanted to relax, but I went into the wrong salon for that. What a strange place. All bright lights and decorated like a barber I should have just turned around and left. instead I went for a facial. First they tried to sell me the more intense facial for bad skin. Seriously, i barely have skin problems, so there really is no need fr that. then they asked me to undress. Uhh? Turns out the facial involves quite a bit of shoulder and upper chest massage. Not really my thing. The whole thing felt like a rough face massage, not a facial. Sometimes I thought she just enjoyed slapping me in the face. During this whole time I could hear whats going on outside and the girl who was doing my treatment was talking to her friend through the walls. Relaxing it was not.

I had never been here before, so I wasn’t sure of their weekend hours. Arrived at the salon around 10 AM, as they were just opening but welcomed me inside. I sat for a few minutes to let them get set for the morning but soon found myself In a chair, being taken care of.
The service is quick but not careless, and thoughtful in the way they handle your skin (mine happens to be super sensitive). The woman who took care of me, Babita, is quiet but focused on making sure your eyebrows look nothing short of top-​notch.
Would I come here again? Definitely. Is the price right? Absolutely. A clean atmosphere, friendly service and great pricing — can you really beat that?

I went here to get a quick threading for my upper lip. Not that difficult of a job, no concern about shape, just needed the hair to be gone.
They sat me down and even though there were other employees, I guess the woman wearing the sari gets first dibs so I was sitting there while she was finishing up her phone conversation.
Finally she comes over and puts hand sanitizer on while still trying to hang up the phone and then motions for me to bite my lip so she can start threading. She’s chatting the entire time which I don’t mind as long as she does a good job.
I go to the counter to pay and she’s taking her sweet time to come and take my money.
I checked how she did when I got back to my office and she missed a bunch of spots.
I would never go back, even if I’m beginning to sport a fu manchu.
