I only wish I had another! A co-worker surprisingly gave this to me while I was at work. I chose the Elvis which is banana ice cream between two peanut butter cookies! It was soOooOOoo good!!! I will definitely venture out next time I need an ice cream fix!

This review is actually for the Broadway Bites stand by Penn Plaza. I came here for the Lovelet(red velvet cookies with cream cheese ice cream) after seeing my friend get it at Madison Square Eats. After waiting several minutes for the sandwich to soften, I eagerly dug in. The cookie was lighter and the ice cream was less sweet than I expected. However, the red velvet and cream cheese flavors were also hard to detect. The sandwich, while satisfying, didn’t taste much different from the regular NorthStar ones you get at the grocery store.

Yummmmmmmm had the red velvet icecream sandwich. Amazing cream cheese icecream surrounded by 2 epically soft red velvet cookies!

Been to several of their carts in the city. Wonderful full of flavor and the cookies are crisp and match well with the flavors of ice cream. Not sure how they keep everything so frozen but these sandwiches keep their texture and don’t melt readily. A huge plus in the summer. Favorites are the double chocolate sandwich. chocolate ice cream and salted sugar chocolate cookie and the cinnamon ice cream sugar cookie. Yum. I did have one time the seasonal peach almond which was great too. Always a great snack.

The ice cream cookie sandwiches are really delicious. They have unique combos and each one i have had were really good and worth the spluge. They arent too frozen either, so when you get it it only take a few mins to get soft enough to start eating. Just perfect for a summer day.

This isn’t the actual bakery, but an ice cream sandwich stand version at Greely Square park. While the ice cream sandwiches were presented really well, their actual quality in terms of taste was disappointing. There were 4 different flavors to choose from(including red velvet, which seemed popular, chocolate, snickerdooodle, and original). I got the«original,» a chocolate chip and walnut cookie and vanilla ice cream sandwich. Definitely expected it to taste better than it actually did based on the branding of the product and the expensive price – $ 4 for one little ice cream sandwich. The cookie/sandwich part was VERY hard, which made it difficult to chew. It was also somewhat salty. I did not want a salty dessert and have no idea why it came out like that. There was nothing special at all about the ice cream filling. It tasted like something you can easily find in the freezer aisle of your neighborhood grocery store. Hell, I’ve had cheaper, store-bought ice cream that was a lot better than this. The staff was very nice though; that was probably their best feature. Otherwise, they really need to work on improving the taste of their product, which should come before anything else(presentation, name, etc.). Good idea for a food product, quality just needs to be improved much further.

$ 4 an ice cream sandwich and mighty tasty. Part of Broadway Bites in Greeley Square. I tried the mango lassi on cardamom cookie. It was refreshing and delicious. Server was super nice. I’d try this one again.
