I must confess I have been known to jump around from primary doctor to primary doctor in my adult life. Usually it is a matter of convenience, insurance, etc. but NOT ANYMORE!
I love Dr. Aziz and the entire staff at his office. I first chose Dr. Aziz’s office because they were so close to my place of business. I have since moved jobs and am located on the other side of the city but wouldn’t dare change my doctor. While it may take some time to travel to his office, it is so very completely worth it.
When making an appt with Dr. Aziz you are almost guaranteed no or very little wait time. That is so extremely important to me as who has time to spend in a waiting room when you have to run on to your next appointment. I’m in, I’m out. in a flash! His staff is so incredibly personable. Vanessa is a doll and goes out of her way to accommodate your schedule and needs.
Dr. Aziz shows genuine concern and gets right to the point. He treats his patient without judgement no matter the issue. He is extremely knowledgable and eager to find a resolution to what ails you. He accepts most major insurance providers and as I’ve changed jobs over the years, I’ve never had a problem with the office not accepting my new insurance provider.
I highly recommend Dr. Aziz. I cannot recall the last time, even with my other current medical providers, that my appointments were handled so expeditiously, courteously, efficiently, and intelligently. I’m truly grateful to have him on my medical team.

Horrible doctor. Pushed hard for me to go on unnecessary testosterone therapy when my problem was actually sleep apnea. Thank god I didn’t listen to him.

Absolute worst. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR! The staff is HORRID, RUDE and has a RIDICULOUS behavior towards patients. The staff consistently hustles you for bills that the insurance has already paid them, they mix up records and are rude and defensive when you try to discuss issues with them. Dr Aziz himself did nothing to address my specific issues and just recommended allergy tests and other unnecessary tests that will line his pockets with $$. DISGUSTING SERVICE. You have been warned. please stay away.

I am surprised at some of the negative reviews. Dr. Aziz seemed concerned about overall well-​being and was very attentive. He spent a lot of time and ran a comprehensive check-​up. This physician doesn’t take health insurance so you will have to pay what your insurance doesn’t cover, although they will submit your bill on your behalf.

I wasn’t going to write this review, even though my visit was pretty bad, but as I just got a call from his VERY discourteous staff about a deductible that I owe (which I asked them before I even saw the doctor what it would be and they said NOTHING and THEY should have called my insurance at the time to find out if INFACT I would have anything to pay) and when I told them that I could not afford to pay it right now (because it was a HEFTY amount of money for VERY bad service which i will get into as this review goes on) and I would like the bill to be sent to me so I can pay it when I get it. I was told that COULD NOT be done (which we know is not true) and it was a «small bill» (!!!) and I was badgered to pay the money on the phone right then and there.
On to the Doctor, which makes it even harder to have to pay almost as much as I would pay to go to the ER, I went for a consultation on a pain I was having in my calf from exercising, he basically poked at my leg once and wrote a prescription, then I mentioned to him that I was having a hard time losing weight, unbeknownst to me that Dr. Aziz has written a diet book and could probably advise me better IF he had asked me what my diet was and if/​how I was working out… but he never asked me ANYTHING, he IMMEDIATELY told me he wanted to test my thyroid!!! I told him I had it tested recently before I had surgery and it was fine but he still insisted (I didn’t do it as I realized this was obviously him trying to send business to a vendor) also I mentioned a stomach issue I was having and I told him the medication I was taking wasn’t working anymore and he told me to keep taking it! His bedside manner is HORRIBLE and he practically chased me out of his office after about 10 minutes. I WILL NEVER recommend this man to ANYONE and I hope anyone that reads this review will NOT go to him and would NOT have to deal with his unmannerly staff.

This guy is the worst. Do not come here if you have serious concerns about your health or need more than a Z pack.
He is rushed, mumbles and doesn’t care about your questions or concerns. I had so many questions, I managed to asked how I got my sore throat/​coughing up stuff and he mumbled something like «could be anything.» I was in his office for less than 5 min, he was to write me 2 prescriptions, but he forgot about the second one and I had to come back for it.
Also, he is only at 825 7^th ave on Sundays. Weekdays he is at 509 Madison Ave.
