Miyu Asakawa has 25 years of experience as a professional stylist. As a native of Japan she began her training and completed her formal education as a stylist at the Vidal Sassoon school in London in 1995.

Miyu has been working in New York City for the past 15 years and has styled celebrities such as Kate Hudson, John Meyers and Courtney Love, and has been hired for photo shoots with high profile clients like H&M and Kenneth Cole. She is a specialist in men’s and women’s cuts and color, but also does hair-do’s and makeup for events and weddings. I have been a hair stylist for 25 years. I was born and raised in Japan and I moved in 1995 to London to study the art of hair styling at Vidal Sassoon Academy. In 1998 I moved to New York City to pursue my passion and I have been styling hair professionally at top NYC salons for the past decade. I have had the opportunity to style hair for various celebrities such as Kate Hudson, John Myers and Courtney Love.
