MOMO Laser Hair Removal

This is hands down the best laser place in NYC. Jessica is incredibly sweet, accommodating & honest & most importantly knows what she is doing. I have not only had amazing results as far as hair growth is concerned but this has also done wonders for my skin. I was afraid of having anything done to my face & started with other body areas first, but after seeing my own results & results from my friends too, I decided to start getting my face done too– one of the bear decisions I’ve made. Not sure how it works, maybe it exfoliates in addition to reducing hair but my skin looks flawless. I never get any facials or anything else done & always have ppl complimenting my skin & asking about my beauty regimen. No one believed it but it’s only laser & random drug store moisturizer that I ever use anymore. In conclusion, look no further guys. If you’re considering laser in NYC, this is the place to be!
Also let me add. She’s incredibly sweet as is her staff! Very professional & super accommodating. I have a crazy schedule & they always try to fit me in at random times & are very understanding if u need to reschedule.

I’ve been to many other laser clinics over the years. Everyone fell short of their promise. Momo is the only place that has ever worked. They deliver an exceptional personalized service that gets results. Jessica and her staff are amazing .I highly recommend them. A+ service and quality with lasting results.

I was referred by a co-​worker to come for a consulation to get my hair on my legs removed because she would always compliment jessica and how shes happy about the results. I had a lot of thick hair that i desperately wanted to get removed because of ingrown hair and i was satisfied with the results. I would recommend to others who want a comfortable yet classy atmosphere and who wants positive results.

Made an appointment to see Jessica. Luckily there was an opening on the same day. The space is very nice. I love the pink suede high chair in her office/​consultation room. Plus there’s a snack bar. Yesterday was my first day of treatment. It wasn’t too bad. I have curly course hair and wanted some unwanted hairs removed. I’m a plucker and as a result I have follicle scars. I was referred by Mamie’s skin care and glad I made the choice to go.
This morning my face looks great and the other targeted areas look lighter. I’m a plucker and I needed these facial hairs gone. Due to the plucking I’ve also cause deep scars. Jessica explained laser hair removal is also like a deep exfoliation and would help with the pigmentation over Time. I think she’s right. This morning the follicles from my neck chin and chest are MUcH lighter. (Hallelujah!!!) The price is absolutely reasonable and the pain is bareable. I’m actually thinking about a bikini next. I had a great experience.

I’ve been going to Momo’s for over 2 years. This place is amazing. Quality of the service is excellent. Staff is very attentive. They just moved to a new, much larger and much nicer space. And although I miss their old and very charming office this place is shows the amount of business they do. I highly recommend it!

Jessica is very nice and environment is extremely sterile. I love her honest advice on laser treatments and what is exactly needed. It’s pricey, but if you really don’t want hair to grow back go to MOMO.

This is the real deal spot for laser hair removal. Especially if you are a woman/​man of color. Jessica has the right tool for the job.
Jessica (laser technician) is very experienced in laser hair removal. She’s also a professional and very pleasant. She helped me remove some hair in a very intimate area. About twelve visits later (six sessions/​six touch ups) I am very happy with the results.
I see her once in a while for a touch up. Yes, laser does NOT remove hair permanently. But the hair does grow back finer and takes a while to grow. And yes, removing hair via laser is painful but the pain is small price to pay to not have to deal with ingrown hairs ever again.
The price is reasonable considering the results. Make an appointment. She is open six days a week. And whenever I go I never have to wait. She also supplies delicious snacks and beverages for her clients… Free of charge.

SO SO happy I found Momo! I did my full research when finding a place — did a few consultations as well. My goal was to find the best place with the best technician within the best possible budget and most importantly, providing most effective results. I can say happily say I made teh best possible decision. Jessica (the owner and techincian) is AMAZING!!! She make you feel so comfortable and is extremely considerate. She takes her time and doesnt rush you like other big named places. In one meeting with her you will know she knows her stuff really well. I am south asian so with dark coarse hair with lotsssss of disgusting ingrowns (which are disappearing) but now just after 4 sessions and 4 touchups, i see only about maybe 25−30% of my hair coming out, and even those are super fine (i forgot what my hair looked like), and moreover they grow out super slow. Where I had to get waxed every two and a half weeks or shave every day i dont have to do ANYTHING for weeks!!! I HIGHLY recommend Jessica… I can gurantee you’ll be super happy with the decision!!!

From my past experience, I think I found the best place in town for laser hair removal. The space is nice and clean. Jessica is very attentive and she makes you feel at ease. With 6 full sessions and 6 touch-​ups, I am very pleased with the results.

Jessica is amazing.
I think she’s the #1 laser hair removal «technician» in NYC. At her previous workplace, a top laser hair removal place uptown, staff will actually consult her and have her view customers’ skin/​hair to determine the right settings and machine to use.
When she started Momo, I gave up my prepaid package at the other place, because I really trust her, and know that she’d get me the results I want, in the least amount of time and minimal pain.

Jessica was recommended to me by a friend who had been going to her for around a year for various laser treatments. The facility itself is on the second floor of a somewhat commercial part of midtown close to times square. You have to be buzzed in and walk up the stairs. MOMO is really nice inside — like a med-​spa (as someone else described) and they have nice seating areas and tons of snacks out, including different types of bottled waters, be kind granola bars, candies, etc. for free for customers, which is handy if you sneak in an appointment during lunch.
Jessica is very knowledgable and if you google her on other review sites, has overwhelmingly positive reviews. Her space is very clean and she has the newest laser. I just had my 5^th treatment on my underarms and see a huge reduction in hair. It’s a better deal to purchase her packages as touch-​ups/​clean-​ups are included though you can pay per session if you’d like. They’re also open on Saturdays.

I followed Jessica from Romeo & Juliet and was so grateful that she started her own business. She is extremely courteous, thorough and as professional as it gets. I recommend MOMO highly!

This is a great place to have laser hair removal done. Jessica is patient & listens to you. The place is very bright & clean. I love the fact that i don’t have to shave my legs or worry about stubbles. It’s the best decision i ever made. If you always wanted to try laser hair removal, this is the place for it.

I shopped around to find the best available. Many shops may seem like a good deal, but what sets Momo apart from the rest is that they will often provide you with «clean up» sessions, whereas the others will charge you for all sessions. For instance, you might be told you will get 6 sessions to complete your laser area, you will pay for 6 sessions with others, but Momo will often provide clean ups as part of the package so you essentially get as many as double what others are offering.
They are very nice, accommodating, and the office is tastefully decorated and clean.
