What a gem! Sourdough bread from«bread alone«in woodstock, Apple cider, dill, honey, and veggies as tasty as they are good looking, Not a huge place, but I count that as a plus. Hope they stay open well into the fall.

This is my favorite market in the city! Things I like about it: :Not crowded like the one in Union Square. This market is small but it can compete with the best of them. You really get a chance to look and shop around in this market. :They have a large variety of vendors. They have everything from gluten free bakeries to local farms, to cheese and meat shops, to a pickle stand. :Location, location, location. I might be biased but it’s in the best neighborhood in New York. :Pickles. Did I mention pickles? All different varieties of pickles, spicy, sweet, sour. They will even give you a pickle on a stick for a buck to eat while you shop. One little negative, I wish it was a little bigger and lasted all year.

This little market is a gem. Located at the southern tip of Morningside Park, it happens every Saturday, and I believe it opens for the season after Memorial Day. Vendors sell vegetables, fruit, cheese, pasta, cured meats, etc.
