My training is not a «one-​size-​fits-​all» approach. We all have degrees of muscle imbalances in our bodies, brought on by things such as sitting for long hours, using a computer mouse, previous injuries that have led to movement compensation, repetitive use, and genetics to name a few. These imbalances occur when one muscle becomes overactive while another becomes under active, which in turn affect the way a joint functions and leads the injury cycle. Case in point, shin splints are a treatable (even preventable) common running injury and are caused by muscle imbalance, specifically overactive calf and underactive tibialis muscles.

To date, I’ve helped many change their lives for the better and achieve their fitness goals safely and effectively. Those goals have included injury rehab, fat loss, increased strength and endurance, muscle hypertrophy, and boxing instruction. Helping others has given me great satisfaction and a deep sense of pride. My specialties are high intensity training, corrective exercise, boxing fundamentals & technique, fighter strength & conditioning, and golfer strength & conditioning.

My training philosophy, «High intensity training using multi-​jointed (compound) movements with great technique to promote functional strength» is undergirded by study and certifications from NASM-​CPT, NASM-​CES, NASM-​PES, TRX-​STC, and TRX-​RTC.

We apply a variety of training methods with an approach that’s based in science and kinesiology. With the use of several exercise modalities, we get you the results you’re after, safely and efficiently. You will experience the following:

Business Owner

Tony holds a B.A. from Morehouse College. He honed his boxing skills as a former sparring partner and member of Jamiva Boxing Camp. His love of boxing came about after years studying the martial art of Shotokan during his childhood. As a trainer who holds certifications from NASM-​CPT, NASM-​CES, NASM-​PES, TRX-​STC and TRX-​RTC, Tony understands the importance of body mechanics and the technique of movement. Mixing in a dose of good fun, this trainer really gets your blood pumping.
