Musicians Hearing Solutions is the premier center for all of the specialized hearing needs of performing artists and audio enthusiasts. We carry major brands of custom in-ear monitors and musicians earplugs.

History

Established in 2011.

Our boutique private practice was formed in 2010 by Dr. Julie Glick who recognized that musicians and audio enthusiasts deserved the opportunity to decide for themselves, along with her expert guidance, what type of sound quality and hearing protection was most appropriate for the unique listening needs of each of her clients. Whether you are looking for a pair of custom earphones to travel with or wear on a daily basis with your music player or are using in-ear monitors as a tool in live performances to hear your performance more accurately and at lower levels, the staff at Musicians Hearing Solutions will help you decide what the right products are for you by learning an in depth history of your listening environments and needs. Being New York City’s foremost audiology practice specializing in working with musicians and hi-fidelity audio, we also have on hand demonstration models of all in-ear monitors that we carry which will enable you to spend time listening to the sound signature

Meet the Business Owner

Dr. Julie Glick, Au.D. G.

Business Owner

Dr. Glick was first introduced to custom in-ear monitors and musicians earplugs over ten years ago when she started her career in a private practice in Beverly Hills, California. Her passion for music and commitment to the field of audiology led her to recognize that the optimization of the live performances of musicians and hearing conservation was a niche she wanted to be involved in from the very beginning. Over the past fourteen years, Julie has spent invaluable time with monitor /sound engineers and has been backstage and in rehearsal studios with musicians of all genres. Through this experience, she has gained great insight and appreciation for all the technical details that go into live musical performances and how important hearing and hearing conservation is to not only musicians but to the fans as well. Dr. Glick’s knowledge and technical expertise of sound, hearing and hearing conservation make her a valuable asset to the music community.
