So I came back again and they took me in quickly which I appreciated. They did a good job, but the reason I’m docking stars is a gel manicure is suppose to be $ 17, but somehow it ended up $ 37.50…they don’t tell you what is or isn’t included so they do a quick neck massage or they charge separately to remove old gel polish. I don’t mind as long as I’m told before they do the process. Most likely I won’t be back…

This is the worst nail salon on the planet. The fact that it is in Midtown, by PWC and Bryant Park and Grand Central you would think they would take a little bit of pride in their work. I’ve had pedicures and gel manicures. Pedicures-the water is cold, they don’t file your nails correctly and it hurts. For the gel manicure-the polish was wrinkly, they didn’t file my nails all the way so they were jagged and rough and there was polish on my skin when I left. Not to mention they overcharge for shitty service. I was yelled at by the woman who runs it in there becuase I went with a friend and wanted to sit next to her while we got our nails done. I don’t think that is asking for a lot. I could go on and on but please save yourself the money and hassle of going here.

RUDE! I went in and they said they could take me for a pedicure right away. They made m wait 5 – 7 minutes then put me in a chair where I waited for over 10 minutes– they had to reheat up the water in the tub. If they knew they couldnt take me then no problem I would have gone somewhere else. Then the lady spilled nail polish on my boots… wont be going back!

I wish I can give no stars to this place. I came to this location yesterday after shopping at Lord & Taylor. My fiancé and I was en route to our usual Nail Salon, but I suggested we get it done there since it was closer. We called first as a courtesy… briefly asked prices. They quoted us one thing then when we reached there, price increased. I should have left then, but hoped for the best since we were already there. I wanted the«spa package». My fiancé, on the other hand, just wanted the standard pedicure. His nail tech kept pressing repeatedly for the spa, which he said no to. I had to intervene and sorta yell, «no he said he doesn’t want it!». That wasn’t even the bad part. He sits down in the chair to get started, we’re talking at this point. His nail tech proceed to ask him, «are you lazy? Do you want me to pull up your pants too?» He has a very great sense of humor and so he didn’t get upset. The pedicure was ok. Once we are done with feet and nails she charges my card once then tells me she forgot to include other fees. Instead of simply adding the other fees onto the card she double charge my card. I’m sorry, but they’re idiots. I will never go back. Then she had the nerve to ask for tip and complained when it was lower then expected. I’m not sure if we were racially profiled but do not waste your money.

Seriously F*#$k this place. This is the worst nail salon I have ever been to. It’s dark and dingy, that should have tipped me off when I got there. The pedicure was nice, but I got the gel manicure. Just to set the scene this woman spent 40 mins to just do the manicure. The time she did the gel manicure I kept asking her to fix the wrinkling of the polish every time it finished under the uv. She kept saying that it’s fine and it will be fixed with the top coat. It was not. And she had to take it all off and redo it. Then she had to do it again after the second time she went through the process of painting. She just kept telling me it was fine and was just amazed at the lack of consideration for the crappy service she provided and I told her I was not going to pay. She redid them for a third time, they are still wrinkly but the best it’s going to get and after two hours of sitting there I had to go. They didn’t care at all about the terrible service and didn’t even offer me anything in return.

I don’t know what got into me. I never get my nails done professionally since I can do just as good a job in my apartment. But for some reason I wandered in here. $ 9 for a manicure is pretty cheap. I don’t know why some people on here are saying it isn’t. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a place that charges less and I would be somewhat nervous if they did. Needless to say, my nails chipped the next day. I’d recommend this place if you are really desperate and need your nails to look good last minute.

I don’t like this place. Been here twice, both during lunch. The first time was ok. Felt beyond rushed. Now I know it’s lunch so it’s normally busier and I’m not expecting a spa manicure, but it was a sloppy job and my nails were chipped that day. I came back today during lunch and there was no wait, probably because it was a Monday. I had a short, round, Spanish-speaking woman do my nails. I asked that she not cut my cuticles, she started to cut them. When she was pushing my cuticles back, it hurt one finger so much that I had to pull my hand away. She didn’t lighten up for the remaining fingers. When that finger started to bleed at the cuticles, she saw I was annoyed, took a square of paper towel, put some alcohol on it, and put it on my fresh cut. WTF is wrong with you??? I mean I’ll be the first to admit that I can be a pansy sometimes, but she made me bleed! Plus her actual application was terrible. The polish was painted all the way down to my cuticle and some nails over it, like coloring outside the lines. Terrible place. $ 9.50 isn’t terribly cheap either for just a tiny, no frills Korean nail salon. Never again.
