Nancy Marin-Rojas DDS

This review comes as a bit of a shock to me as well since I had been a patient of Dr Marin-​Rojas’ for over 8 years and have always had a great experience with her practice but I was extremely disappointed with how my last appointment was handled. My wife went into labor early Saturday morning and our beautiful baby girl was born late Saturday. She was scheduled to be discharged at noon on Monday. On Monday morning I realized I had a dentist appointment scheduled for 10:30am so I called Dr. Marin-​Rojas’ office to explain the situation and reschedule. After explaining that I would have to miss the appointment due to the aforementioned reason I was dispassionately told that because I hadn’t given 24 hour notice for cancellation they would assess me a cancellation fee! I don’t care at all about the cancellation fee! Assess me one! I knew about the 24hr requirement but the lack of sympathy and consideration on such a basic principle, not to mention that it was IMPOSSIBLE to give 24hr notice in this circumstance, it being the weekend and all, led me to realize that this was not the kind of practice I wanted to give my business, regardless of our past history.

Dr. Nancy Marin– Rojas was not only very affordable but truly amazing in every way. I waited too long to see her and was in significant pain when I finally called to make an appointment. I had to make an emergency appointment as a new patient. She saw me the next day, was gentle, intelligent — her conservative management spared me a painful and expensive root canal and I am now pain free. She even called me the next day to make sure I was feeling better. I can’t recommend her highly enough. She really took care of me when I was in bad shape.
