Really great experience with Frank. I’d agree with the other descriptions on Unilocal stating that he is a «healer». I saw Frank for the first time to try to get some help with sleep troubles last week and the following week was fantastic. I was able to sleep through the night and be far more focused at work and generally more calm — which is tough to do in Manhattan. His Massage Therapy work is fantastic, if you’re looking for a serious, «get-the-knots-out» massage, Frank is your guy. Yes, fair warning to those of you who might be picky, Frank’s office is the opposite of clinical. It’s very warm and welcoming, but not like a doctor’s office. I’m definitely looking forward to continuing to work with Frank on general running ailments and continuing to mitigate the physical symptoms of stressful life and work situations.

Just when I thought my TMJ problem didn’t have a solution. I found Francesco! I just had my second session with him and the improvement has been incredible. Francesco is kind and pretty straight forward. You tell him what’s going on with you and he will focus on that problem. I basically couldn’t even eat a salad because my pain was so bad, and now after my second visit I can start bitting on a piece of toast, yay! He is also helping me release all the tension on my neck and shoulders. He gave me some massaging exercises to do at home, and pointed out that I need to correct my posture and very thoroughly explain why, which i think it’s very helpful. I will keep going to him and I highly recommend him to anyone with a TMJ problem. Thank you Francesco!

I was referred to Frank by a good friend, and I was very impressed by him. Frank is extremely knowledgeable about the body and has excellent technique, he is also trained in acupuncture which can also help with soothing your aches and pains. Yes, you are entering his apartment, but it is very comfortable and professional. I was most impressed by Frank’s massage table, it is easily the most comfortable I have ever been on!
He has treated me for specific issues, such as tightness and pain in the neck and shoulders, and for general body work.

Naturopunc Acupuncture is very accessible to get to and the building, in the middle of 6^th & 7^th ave is BEAUTIFUL, with a nice garden path as you walk to building from front gate. I know going to someone’s home can be questionable, but his apartment is soooo warm, unique, inviting and safe, including a cute turtle and sweet cat! It’s like visiting a friend (who happens to be an amazing Massage Therapist and Acupuncturist!) His energy and spirit are just as inviting and warm. His massages are firm and persistent and he is quick to make adjustments to my needs. Though I’m sure he would measure his pressure to your taste. And I just feel refreshed after the acupuncture which he’s helped me with depression, sleeping issues and pains. No matter what my day is like, no matter how awful I’m feeling, Franceso brightens it with his authentic charm and sincere concern for my individual needs. I highly recommend Naturopunc Acupuncture!!!

I can’t say enough good things about Frank. Let’s start with finding hi and reading all the great reviews. I have bulging discs in C4−5, C5−6, C6−7 and C7T1 and as at that time didn’t know how sever it was I started looking for help. By the time I found Frank and read all his reviews and what he could do, it was well past midnight. Knowing that I could only contact him via text I started a very long detailed text to him… that started with me saying I hope you’re not reading this now and hoped he would get back to me in the morning. I sent the text around 1 AM and thought I would try to sleep. Much to my surprise Frank text me back 15 minutes later asking about my condition, my pain, what he could do and when he could get me in. He was gracious enough to fit me in the following day… on a weekend! You work the areas and gave me acupuncture enough so that I was able to sleep pain-free for the first time in over a month. I went back a few days later to get the same treatment. I’ve since had two epidurals to help relieve the pain and give me some strength back, but I plan to continue seeing Frank to help out and all the other areas of my condition.
Simply put, Frank is the best. I am so glad I found him.

I have suffered from TMJ for years. I don’t experience pain so my condition does not bother me. About 3 years ago, I went to a TMJ specialist and got one of the worst piece of medical advice ever. We confirmed through MRI imaging that I suffer from minor jaw dislocation. My specialist told me that since I don’t experience pain and my jaw does not get locked up, I don’t need to do anything about it. Over the years, I started to notice a loss of facial volume, minor facial asymmetry, and increased jaw popping. I decided to take actions for my TMJ. LG!
I found a skilled medical therapist. After trying out a couple of sessions with my previous therapist, I realized it is not really producing the result I am looking for. That was how I found Frank. I had my first meeting and session with Frank recently. I knew from our first session that he is very skilled and experienced at what he does (I have tried various holistic healing approaches). He worked on
on my neck and back, and did an intra-oral massage to relieve tension in my jaw muscle.
I felt an instant release of tension in my jaw, it is less tight and sore. I can tell clearly that his manual therapy session is very effective. In addition to that, Frank also suggested some relaxation techniques and a herbalist for me to see. He also sent me some dietary suggestions.
Frank did not try to sell me session packages. He was honest to tell me that I should have consistent 30 minutes session on weekly basis because the muscle needs consistent release and 30 minutes is all I need. Based on my first time experience and others reviews, I am confident that working with Frank will bring me much relieve to my condition.
If you have TMJ, I would highly suggest you to do something about it than let the condition sit and progress. I would suggest acupuncture, massage therapy, meditation for relaxation and increasing awareness, change in diet etc. What you have to understand is that our body and mind have to endure a consideration amount of stress and impact before it started to exhibit the down symptoms. Early conditions of TMJ are much much easier to manage and heal without having to resort to any type of expensive and invasive surgery. I highly recommend Frank and best luck in your healing journey.

Frank is a miracle worker. I have suffered from chronic back pain for years despite being in excellent physical health. I have tried dozens of therapists but only felt better for 12 to 24 hours. After ONE session with Frank I am pain free already one week. And not just pain free but I feel excellent. His talent is immeasurable. I’m not one to usually contribute online reviews, but I had to write one for Frank because if there is anyone out there who is searching for pain relief I hope they find this entry.
I am a long time back and neck pain sufferer, which has been compounded this year with severe sinus issues. I was going to the chiropractor three times a week out of desperation because no other western medicine doctor had answers for me other than Cortisone injections, which would just have treated the symptoms but not the cause.
Then a friend recommended me to Frank, and everything changed for me after that first appointment. Not only did he listen to my full story to really understand where I was hurting, he took his time with me and treated me with empathy and compassion. In my decade plus of seeking pain relief, nothing has come close to what Frank has provided. His deep massage and accupressure technique have made me feel better than I have in years, and his constant communication throughout the treatments put me at ease and help us both get the most out of our time.
Frank is a healer in the truest sense of the word, and does not hesitate to recommend other treatments he thinks will help each individual’s needs. He has recommended me to two different Osteopaths who practice OMM (osteopathic manipulative medicine) to supplement his treatment of my neck and back.
Do yourself a favor and give Frank a try — I can’t tell you how glad I am that I did.

Francesco really knows his stuff.
I’m a training professional dancer and I trust him with my life. Whenever there’s an imbalance in my body, no matter how severe it feels, all I have to do is shoot him a text and he’ll see me as soon as he can. There is no waiting around for weeks till he can see you. When you need help he’s right there waiting and excited to treat you.
He’s extremely kind and welcoming as well, he always offers me water or something to drink when I walk in and personally I find his apt. really cozy. Because he works from home, the place is comfortable with a lot of character and has literally anything you could need (i.e. heating pads, aromas, oils, creams, pillows, towels… you name it). This is a total perk I think because, lets say you have a really tense muscle group, he can give you the heating pad for a little to help loosen the muscle up before he does his work. Afterwards, he can give you a soreness spray or whatever. things like that.
From my perspective, experiencing a career in dance, my body is my instrument. And, if I can’t cure/treat ailments in my body then my career is over. There have been extremely stressful times where I can no longer self-treat my body and need help from a specialist, and that’s where Francesco is. I obviously trust him with my life/career… or else I wouldn’t be posting this. He truly cares and is way way more than helpful. Definitely give him a shot if you’re looking for treatment on a reoccurring issue (mental or physical). He’ll only take 30 minutes to an hour and solve all your troubles.

I’ve been seeing Frank consistently for the past six months now because of an injury I sustained in March 2014. If you ask him, he gives you helpful information about your body and how to improve or stretch the areas in question. His massage technique has great range, from very deep for those stubborn knots to soothing and restorative when you want to relax and unwind. I always look forward to my sessions with him and feel wonderful afterwards. If I could, I would make an appointment with him every week to release the stress built up from the week!

If only there was another way for me to truly share how much of a life changer Frank has been for me in the past year… I figure Unilocal is the best way to help others receive help so here it goes. For the past year my life was turned upside down, and I was no longer the same energetic, active person I had been for my entire life. My last month of college I graduated with a neck brace around my neck, and a whole lot of confusion as to why I was no longer able to control my neck movements. Unfortunately, the million doctors I was forced to see could not provide me with an explanation either. I was diagnosed with sposmodic torticollis, at one point took an MRI for a potential «brain tumor,» and finally had botox injected into my STM twice to help temporarily «kill» my spasmodic muscle. Finally after months of treatments that either temporarily relieved my condition or did nothing to bring me relief, I came across Frank’s practice through some google searches. Frank took every appointment I had as an opportunity to truly tackle the very core of my condition. I had finally found out through the help of a chiropractor that I had severe curvature in my spine that was causing abnormal muscle function in my neck. I was receiving treatments to straighten my spine, but unfortunately I still suffered from pain as my neck muscles were stiff and could not function normally. It was Frank’s care that helped me finally loosen my neck muscles and again enjoy a full range of movement for my neck. 1 year later I am again a normal girl, able to move my neck in both directions and hold my head up without the assistance of my own hands. My parents want me to continue to see Frank every week to ensure that I fully recover, and it is due to the miracle he brought to me that myself and my parents have so much faith in his abilities. Thank you Frank for everything you have done for me, and I hope someone else who might be suffering from what I experienced can feel that same relief!

Great massage from a trusted professional who is sensitive to the needs of a performing musician. I have been seeing Frank for many years and each experience is as wonderful as the first time. One can learn massage, but noone can learn what Frank does intuitively because of his sensitivity and exquisite knowledge of the body. He is more than a manual therapist. He is a wholistic healer, a compassionate, perceptive and delightful person. He is very flexible in scheduling appointments.

Frank is the ONLY licensed massage therapist I trust. His knowledge of human anatomical structure, particularly the muscles, is outstanding. I have recently had cervical spinal surgery. The spinal cord damage created a residual massive muscle issue. Frank has done deep tissue massage. He has the magic touch. Frank is a compassionate individual who cares about the work he does. I only go for massage therapy occasionally as a «treat» or if I am having a particularly stressful life event. Each time I’ve gone to see Frank he has put me at ease and made me feel relaxed. I walk out of the sessions more comfortable in my body because he has the skill to find the tension points and release them. If you are accustomed to going to a nail salon type place for a 10-minute back rub on one of those weird chairs, this is a whole new world of massage. If you are used to regular full-body massages at spa-type places, Frank provides that level of care but in a private setting. I couldn’t recommend him more.

Frank’s passion isn’t massage, it’s helping people.
Before Frank, I had just come to accept that I had a shitty hip. I accepted the nagging pain in the morning and the phantom pulsing in my legs. I accepted that things were just starting to get rusty even at the ripe age of 25. I popped pills, did yoga, wore compression socks, tried fad diets, convinced myself I had a terminal illness… etc.
I complained about everything that hurt and Frank taught me these new stretches that would heal me. I couldn’t believe that someone running a business would recommend something that would heal myself. He actually didn’t want me to come back? He told me what was causing my pain.
Yes, I was skeptical of all the reviews on here that claimed he had the hands of Michael Clarke Duncan in the Green Mile or Jesus… whatever, right? Massage was un-fucking-believable. I felt like a jelly fish afterwards. I felt high.
Next morning – no pain. None.
I’ve never woken up without something to complain about and halfway through my morning routine there it wasn’t-the pain.
Don’t be an idiot. Do yourself a favor and go see Frank.
He actually listens. He actually wants you to get better. He wants to see you again but not because your pain returned but just to see you again (and for a massage of course.) I can’t say enough about him as a person or as a massage therapist.

I wish I could give him 10 stars. Wow.
My back, shoulder, and legs have been bothering me the last month, and I went into Frank and he released tension from my muscles I didn’t even realize someone could do in just ONE massage. 15 minutes into my massage, I felt my whole right shoulder (one of several tight spots on my body) release.
I do Dancehall Aerobics once a week (pretty intensive), I sit at a computer all day, and I injured my leg several years ago doing an multiple day walking event, which causes me to stand to one side, which affects my posture, thus causing back issues.
This is the best massage I’ve had in my life. Let me repeat. Best massage in my life. No exaggeration. Everything on my body feels better. Frank really knows what he is doing.
He really loves what he does, and it shows in the results.
Also, you can call, text, or email him to make an appointment, and he’s very responsive. You will feel 5000% better when you walk out of there. Thank you so much Frank!
