NetCom Learning

I was quite pleased with NetCom’s facilities. Modern, kept fairly clean. Every morning, there is coffee and free bagels available in the pantry. A refrigerator is also available if you’d like to store anything there, but for the most part, it’s almost packed to the brim.
The room I had my training in had fairly newly custom built enthusiast-​end PC’s. The instructor was prompt and stuck to the curriculum while providing his own real-​life experiences to make it a little more interactive and interesting. During the morning, I believe around 10 AM, one of the staff members comes around with a cart filled with drinks (OJ, water, juice, soda, etc.) and snacks (pretzels, crackers, cookies, etc.). Think of it as a mid morning snack.
I would definitely come back to NetCom to attend a future training.

My company sent a group of us for C# training. The NetCom Learning Center is right across the street from the Empire State Building. My experience with NetCom Learning Center will be a memorable one. C# is a really challenging course but I learned something new that I will always cherish. Our Instructor was really good in introducing the C# language making it easy for us to understand the concept.
It was a wonderful learning experience and I had a great time. NetCom Staff are very pleasant. I would definitely recommend the NetCom Learning Center to my friends and family. Thank you everyone for making my weeklong visit a pleasant one.

Great company, providing a really good training program. My company sent me here for Net+ cert training. Couldn’t be happier, they didn’t book enough people in the Philadelphia office so they offered me a live online remote training course and gave me the option to try it for a day to see if I liked it. If not, they were going to help reschedule me for a in-​person class. Overall very professional, some of the material went a little quick, but I also walked in this class with no former technical background so I was out of pace for a more advanced class like this so I blame my self for that. The book they issue with the class is very detailed. A great value! I’m planning on scheduling more classes with NetCom in the future!

We rented a room to conduct an employee training for our purchasing software. It was exactly what we needed. There was a comfortable room with computer terminals and a projector. It gave the employees a chance to follow along on a PC while asking questions, etc.
I found the netcom folks super helpful and on top of things. Good coffee, bagels etc too in the break room…

Been there a while ago for company training.
No, don’t go, don’t waste your money.
Small tiny classroom.
Instructors were basically reading from the slide shows.

Netcom is my go-​to training provider. I’ve taken MCITP and Check Point CCSA and CCSE and have been very satisfied with with each. The instructors have been very professional and have been able to contribute real world examples to supplement the training materials. In each class they were able to adapt the material to address the students questions regarding the architecture at their respective workplaces.
I have taken classes at both the New York and Las Vegas and have been impressed with each. My career has certainly been advanced due to my experiences with NetCom.

I just finished my CISSP training with Netcom in their NYC training facility and I have to say that it was great. The instructor (Jay Feron) did an amazing job of parsing through information and preparing us for how to understand it and how to pass the CISSP exam. I would definitely recommend them without reservation in the future.

Very nice training facilities, comfortable environment with friendly staff. I took the PMP Exam Bootcamp and theh instructor was extremely knowledgeable. You will definitely get your monies worth. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking to get certified or expand their knowledge base.

Being an unemployed copywriter, I signed up for a class on Adobe in order to broaden my resume. At the recommendation of a friend, I went to NetCom which was right across from the Empire State Building. That makes it easy enough to find!
Overall, I had a great experience. The facility was really nice, as were the administration and the teacher. He was kind of like the Bob Ross of Adobe! Instead of «happy trees» we had happy text boxes. He went at a good, moderate pace and I left with a feeling of having learned something useful. I’d totally go back!

I loved the web development class I took last month. I don’t know about other courses, but the instructor for this class is the best I’ve ever known. I had some basic knowledge about web development but didn’t know that there was so many interesting things involved behind the scenes.
Now I’m psyched about taking other intermediate to advanced courses, but that’ll be in the future since I need to save up! Looking forward to applying for different jobs for now, and I feel confident now that so much knowledge has been infused in me.

I just recently took a PMP class here. Instructor was excellent and very knowledgeable. Course materials was great. Staff was helpful when I arrived, answering all my questions. It was as good a training center could be. I did not have the same experience with the past two reviewers, however I think it’s been a while since they last reviewed it and NetCom seems to have cleaned up its act. I will definitely take more future training here and can recommend it.

This place is the worst! I signed up for a class and they canceled it a week before. Then they rescheduled me… and…guess what? Yup — They canceled again and again. They felt sooo bad that they offered me a one on one session. I was so excited! Then… they canceled again and actually told me that there is NO WAY that they would ever offer that. They were the ones that offered it to me. Please AVOID. Don’t waste hours and hours of your time trying to reschedule the class that the WILL cancel. Go to Noble Desktop. They ROCK!

I REALLY want to like this place. I could use a sql course to help further my career. The location is right near my office. And it’s located in the Empire State Building, which I think is really cool.
So I took the afternoon off to go to their free sql course. I figured that at least half of the class would be a sales pitch for more classes and I was ok with that.
So I got there and only one other person had shown up. That should have been a red flag. How many places are so bad that they can’t give computer courses away for free, right?
In any case, I sat down and decided to do a little work-​related reading while waiting for the instructor. Half an hour passed, and still no instructor showed up. I went out and asked the receptionist. She said this was typical since they want to give time for latecomers to show up.
Half an hour later, the instructor STILL hadn’t shown up. I went out and asked the receptionist again. She said, «He called in, he should be here in the next five minutes.»
Half an hour later (yes I waited 1.5 hours!!!) the instructor STILL hadn’t shown up. The manager walked in, apologized, and proceded to give us the sales pitch WITHOUT the class.
Yeah, right… Like I’m going to take any classes with these bozos.
