NYCI is a Clinic Mon-​Fri, a Training Center Sat-​Sun.

Think of Iridology as the functional equivalent of a whole-​body MRI or CAT scan, giving you your body’s own view of what is going on – organ by organ, system by system. Non-​intrusive, no x-​ray radiation, no long waits or confusing results.



Most of our clients come to NYCI after long bouts of testing without a clear diagnosis. Iridology sees what your body feels but is unable to get across to you via pain, discomfort, rashes, discharges etc.

Overly specialized tests may obscure the underlying, causative factors in remote but related sites… gastro, cardiac, neural, skeletal, hormonal systems work together and come together diagnostically in the irides.

We read that record back to you in clear non-​medical terms.

NYCI offers world-​class certification training as well.

History

Established in 1996.

NYCI began in ’96 upon Judy and Harvey Vedder’s return to NYC, as ‘Vedder Iridology’ on St Mark’s Place in the East Village. Holistic Clinics were becoming popular for clients dissatisfied with mainstream medicine.

As well, NYC’s many holistic practitioners demanded training in the techniques of scanning the eyes to assist in their Acupuncture, Colonics, Homeopathy, Massage, Chiropractic and ND practices. Thus 1997 saw the Vedder’s offering to share their expertise with local holistic practitioners.

Judy Vedder continues to see clients during the week and offers Certification Training studies on weekends. Clinical Iridology is a powerful, accurate diagnostic modality with application across the gamut of holistic and medical approaches to health.

Business Owner

Judy Bussard Vedder is a typical New Yorker – accomplished, vivacious, intuitive and active in her chosen pursuit of Clinical Iridology as a practitioner, author, lecturer and trainer. When none of her six children chose medical or holistic healing careers, she dived in to natural healing and founded the New York Center for Iridology, now an internationally recognized hub for clients and a Certification Training Center.

She is sought out not just by suffering clients for help with their condition but by many of NYC’s healing practitioners who look to Iridology’s unique analyses to assist in difficult cases. She is a favorite at corporate health fairs and other events, demonstrating the strengths of her little-​known specialty.
