New York Language Center is certified as an English Language School by the New York State Education Department. It is also authorized by the U.S. Department of Immigration to enroll non– immigrant foreign students. New York Language Center is a member of NAFSA (Association of International Educators), TESOL (Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages), and ALTO.

New York Language Center welcomes international students with an affordable, excellent English program, a full range of activities, dedicated highly motivated teachers and an exceptional support staff.

History

Established in 1985.

Over the past 25 years, thousands of students from over 75 countries have learned English at New York Language Center. So strong is our reputation that word-​of-​mouth is our most effective advertisement. Most of our students learn about NYLC from alumni who have had positive experiences at our school.

We have developed our own teaching materials with you, the student, in mind. Unlike other English programs, we provide you with all books and materials at no additional charge.

As Executive Director of New York Language Center, it is most important to me not only to manage a school and strive for excellence, but to ensure that students come first always.

I am a professional ESL teacher with an MA in TESOL from Hunter College and a lifelong foreign language learner.

I am so proud of the staff of New York Languge Center. Together we will ensure that our school continues to be one of the best choices a student can make to learn Englishin New York City.
