You should absolutely avoid going here. Last year, I made appointments with Dr. Mehta and prior to seeing him, I asked the receptionist/coordinator to triple check that my insurance is in network with them. They called my insurance, checked, and let me know that they are indeed«in network.» Fast forward a month or two, and I had multiple bills almost totaling 10k in medical charges. I called my insurance and let them know what was going on, and they have call log notes showing that NY Pain Care called and were told by a rep that they are«out of network.» — based on the call log, NY Pain Care called me 10 minutes later(after being told they’re «out of network») and told me they are«in network.» I couldn’t believe this. I highly encourage people to find another facility, one that doesn’t scam their own patients.

I have been to several places in the city for trigger point injections and this place is the best. Josephine is the Nurse Practitioner who treats me for a herniated disc. She is great and knows her stuff. There’s never a wait and the office staff is great. I highly recommend this place.
