Next Cleaners

This is a true zero star. Best place to get ripped off.
This is the story: I went there because it’s close to my school. I had 3 items. One of them was fairly old coat, so I asked the lady how much does it cost to clean this, she said $ 18 (at the end they charged me $ 25 for that), but this was just the starter. Among those three was a leather jacket which had a leather stain from my bag strap on its shoulder. The lady told me it cost $ 65 to take out the stain and they have to send it to the leather company and it takes 2 weeks. This was a very new jacket and expensive jacket so I said that’s ok. After two weeks she said it’s not ready so come back in a week. After three weeks I went there. They brought the jacket and said: they tried stain doesn’t go away, but you have to pay, and when I said why should I pay when you didn’t do anything, they said because we tried and these material are expensive.
1. They never ever, even once mentioned that there is a possibility that this stain doesn’t go away, so I could decide if I wanted to take the risk or not! after three weeks they claimed that they already sent back the jacket 3 times, so I have to pay!!!
2. When I said I can’t pay for what you haven’t done, they said they send it back to the leather company one more time, after a week they called and said your jacket is back and they couldn’t remove the stain, very politely I asked the lady for at least a discount, she gave me $ 10 discount, I smiled and said do you think I waste my time arguing for $ 10? She got angry and hanged up the phone on me!
I’m a very busy person. I really don’t have the time and energy to argue over these stuff, but after what I experienced there I felt obligated to let others know what is up in this place.

This is a great establishment and convenient. The tailor was AMAZING she was pleasant to speak to and she worked very well, and worked magic on my clothes. She was very sweet and made me feel comfortable from the beginning. However the lady at the front desk wasn’t good to say the least, I had a card on file but never gave her the permission to use it. So when I came to pick up my clothing and offered to pay she informed me I have already been charged. That confused me because I never gave her the authorization to use my card. I was very upset and walked off. I usually don’t write on Unilocal but I felt compelled to at least warn everyone to be careful. I may go back there because the tailor was great but I will be very careful at the counter.

Amazing tailoring done by Shanti. Professional, kind and fantastic! She stayed late so that my partner could get a vest resized that we needed in 10 days and couldn’t have been better. Completely worth it!
We will be back when my short gf inevitably needs something altered and will be asking for Shanti!
