Nodroff James J Atty

James J. Nodroff is an attorney licensed in NY and NJ. I actually know him through my dad. He’s actually an immigration attorney and has been doing it for many many years. I can say for over 25 years. I am using his services for a house purchase. So far he and his assistant in the office have been very good in following up and making sure that I am on track for the process. The price for his services are decent and reasonable I suppose. This is considering he is located in Chinatown and services the Chinese community for immigration and real estate services.
Since I haven’t completed my purchase and services with him, I will follow up and update this review at a later date.
UPDATE!!! −−−3÷16÷2012
So at the day of the closing that was scheduled for 11AM, he was late. I was there by myself while all the sellers and their attorney was there with them early and on time. My attorney probably arrived at like 11:20AM. He settled down and pulled out some papers and looked at the paper work that was already on the conference room table. Then, he starts asking me to sign everything and initial all the pages and explains everything to me in short. Anyways, he tells me I have to write additional checks and it makes me sad that I had to pay more on top of what I already paid. And in the end, he explains what I need to do after the close, like call the electric and gas companies to change the address and service over to my name.
It was an okay experience. I just wish he was there on time!
