Sometimes ya feel like a nut and sometimes ya don’t! Lol… These nut carts are on every corner in the touristy areas of NYC, like Starbucks are in Manhattan! My favs are the almonds and peanuts! An awesome sweet and crunchy snack while chillin in NYC. Last week we ran into the cart right before seeing Aladdin on Broadway! We got a cool 3 for $ 10 deal and enjoyed Times Square prior to the show! I’ve never had the coconut flavored ones, but other Unilocalers seemed to have enjoyed them. So if you see cart, swing by get some nuts to snack on. If you’re heading into a Broadway show, you’ll enjoy the carts even more as the snacks inside are theater are typically $ 6-$ 10 for 1 lol. Enjoy folks!

Not even sure if this is the exact cart I came to, there are tons of them sprinkled around the city. I grew up seeing and smelling these carts but like a lot of native New Yorkers never gave them a second thought because they are everywhere. My friend was visiting from out of town and stopped by, giving me the opportunity to discover that they sell COCONUT! How have I never known of this?! I didn’t even like coconut until this past year, but I am currently in a full blown coconut obsession so this recent discovery legit changed my life. And it can change yours, too! The peanuts are classic, and the cashews and almonds are a nice alternative, but the COCONUT — my god, to die for. My friend bought 4 bags of coconut to take back with him to California. Be sure to buy up all the coconut they have that day, because not all carts have it and not all the time! Just don’t say I didn’t warn you.

I bought one just needing a snack and that there were so many around it stuck in my mind. I got the almond ones and these are SO good. They are crunchy and sweet and addictive. I would like to know how they make it though so I can have something similar at home. I think I would come back to NY just for these nuts. Definitely a fan!

Loved it, you have to stop by one of these if you are in NYC. Just part of the whole experience.

The guy at this cart was unnecessarily pushy. We obviously came to buy some of his nuts. He went on for a bit about how his were so much bigger and cheaper than everyone else’s. We get it man. Just just me my nuts.

Two things I always eat when I’m in NYC: Pizza and Street Nuts. They were especially yummy this last time around because we went over the cooold Thanksgiving weekend. There is nothing better than walking around chilly NYC with a bag full of hot nuts. Coconut cashew is my favorite, but any will do. Affordable and dependable, good for breakfast-lunch-snack-dinner-dessert. I love Nuts-4-Nuts!

So I had watched an episode of Andrew Zimmern spending the day with a nut street vendor in NYC and thought to myself that I had to definitely try the nuts when I was there. My bestie and I were walking around Times Square at night when we came across the NUTS-4-NUTS cart. We bought a bag each and they were warm, fresh, sweet, and nutty. It was a good snack while walking to the Empire State Building. We had to return to buy more for the flight back home.
