Meet the Business Owner

Chai and Ace H.

Business Owner

Cousins Chai and Ace grew up in Thai families with deep roots to their native homeland, traditions and foods. After multiple trips to Thailand, they visited Vietnam, where they were introduced to a wide array of Vietnamese dishes. New variations of noodles, dumplings and rice dishes were introduced with different broths and spice combinations, foreign to both Chai and Ace.

Where initially they only saw the difference between Thai and Vietnamese cuisine, they envisioned a harmony between the two. OBAO is the realization of this dream, where the diversity of the two culture come together to strike an amazing balance.

Chai and Ace enjoy being able to serve the public at OBAO, where their unique blend of Thai and Vietnamese flavors is the driving force of the business. Chai and Ace hope to provide you such a positive experience you’ll remember to return to OBAO when you’re in need of a great meal.
