I’m surprised by the reviews here of the acoustics. I found this to be one of the worst practice spaces. I agree with the one reviewer that the soundproofing is not very good, you can hear everything. It is very distracting. The place is disorganized and not friendly. This will be last on my list to return to.

A welcome addition to the myriad of rehearsal studios in the city, Opera America easily is the most swanky, but their bargain rates will temporarily disorient you. If you purchase a membership, the discounts continue. While the place could be more soundproof(this place does cater to OPERA, which regularly peaks above 100 decibels), the pianos are always in tune, and there are plenty of common areas to congregate civilly(the library upstairs, or the canteen downstairs). You can also book the recital hall for recording sessions through Gurari Studios. This place also doubles as Opera America’s corporate HQ, and offers a program of lectures, recitals, and masterclasses throughout the year.
