Wha what? I had to double check to make sure this place hadn’t been reviewed before. A big «PSYCHIC» sign on one of the busiest streets of NY that hasn’t been Unilocal’d yet? Guess I was the only one drinking that kool-​aid…
I’ve been here a total of 3 times. The first time, I was totally impressed. I went with a friend of mine, and it was my first-​ever experience with a psychic. For $ 25 bucks, we got a palm reading and the chance to ask two or 3 questions. She told my friend that she would soon be promoted, her relationship was going to end in the next few weeks, and her work would lead her to travel. All three things happened within two weeks. She told me that I was at a turning point in my life, that I would move up quickly in my new career, and that I had a friend close to me who I thought wished well for me but actually did not. (Pro-​tip: every other psychic will tell you those three things.) All of those things panned out as well. As such, I was convinced I had just stumbled upon one of the greatest psychics of our time.
I raved to everyone about the experience and recommended her highly. Had I Unilocaled back then, you’d probably see more details on that in a previous review. About a year later, I got my uncle who was visiting NYC to go there as well. He let me sit in on the reading (it was the same reader that I had). The only real, significant thing she told him was that even when he thought he was in love with a woman, he really was not (EVER. ouch), and that he in fact only held on to women for what they could do for him, rather than an actual love for them. I found it kind of harsh (and somewhat untrue, given what I knew about him), but hey, I don’t read palms. She also said he would live a long life, and he’s still kickin.
Well, out of faith I came a third time. This time, I brought another good friend of mine, who is also a guy. Another year had passed, so the reader did not remember me (although maybe she saw me coming. womp womp). Well, what’dya know — she said literally the EXACT same thing to my guy friend as she had to my uncle a year before — and not much else about him. It was one of the shortest readings I’d ever witnessed. I was so disappointed to find that she rattled off the exact same thing to both men I brought to her, even down to the phrasing. Either she’s pretty much checked out, or I surround myself with people completely incapable of love. Psychic, you wrong for that.
Needless to say, I haven’t been back since. I think I’d have a better chance at accuracy — and restored faith in humanity — with a reading from her cat.
