My sister came in to see the dentist for the first time dec 24 2014. She was there less than 5 minutes before her $ 700 iPhone 6 got stolen. She immediately notified the front desk which brushed her off with a «we will take care of it» line. They didn’t do anything. We asked for them to play back surveillance footage they said the guy who takes care of that isn’t there. Long story short my sister was too nice and they took advantage of her kindness. They are lucky I wasn’t there because I would of caused havoc. It’s sad that they could of helped her and didn’t. The guy there even said he would file a report. Which he didn’t and we went the next day to the precinct to file a report they said it was too late. Never going there again. Hide your phones and belongings when you go there.

I Came in as a walk-​in came in @9:05 left @11 not bad concerning it was my first time there but some of the staff was from LIC so I was very pleased to see femur faces. they got the job done so I left Very Pleased THANKS

It’s disappointing that this place has a few good and caring doctors when they are so over-​booked and certain desk associates are rude, it’s ruined my experience.
I had Dr. Kennedy as a PCP for 4 years and she is great! I don’t think she is from the city because she is the total opposite of how NYC medical centers are run: caring, patient, and listens. She did extra research regarding a health issue and actually called me a week later explaining what I needed to look out for in the future and mailed me information packets. Wow! She seems very patient with the large population of Spanish-​speaking clients, using a translator.
A former Dermatologist there (his main office based in Flushing), Dr. Kwak, was very good too. Very thorough and didn’t try and push medication on you.
This center apparently is a teaching facility and I think it shows in how the other doctors regard you as a patient (in a bad way at times). A breast surgeon suggested an immediate biopsy, when (thankfully) I finally got an appointment with my GYN and it was just an ingrown hair. A hand surgeon (with their hand clinic) suggested surgery for a ganglion cyst. I went through with it, only to have it not healed properly and come back 3x’s as large (he didn’t provide any advice or physical therapy to heal, just «start using your wrist more to stretch it, you’ll know when you feel it has healed»). I had to trek to Lutheran Hospital for the surgery and then to his private office in Ditmas Park for post-​surgery. The surgeons for their clinics seem very greedy about suggesting immediate surgery.
There is usually a long wait and the waiting rooms are always filled with young children. And a ‘parking lot’ of strollers outside. They need better ambiance in the waiting rooms, and germ-​free furniture. Gross.
The receptionists on the right side are really nice. The receptionists on the left side are really rude.

I’ve been coming here for a few years now. It’s a sublet clinic of Lutheran Hospital. This place is only getting 2 stars because I love my doc!
They have gotten better over the years with their clinic going digital but this waiting game is still a nightmare! If I have an appointment scheduled for 3:00 pm, why is it that I’m not called till 4:30 pm? I understand, patients get backed up but by an entire hour and a half?! And this isn’t a one time thing either, this is routine for this location. I don’t think I’ll ever wrap my head around it. Apparently this is common with Lutheran locations. The main hospital waits are just as bad, why should I expect any better from their sublet? Very disappointing.
The only reason I stick around is because I love my doctor. Dr. Prescott is amazing. She’s sweet and kind, very caring. As a general practitioner, she’s the best of the best. She’s very thorough with everything and is always on top of me with my blood work or anything else that needs to be taken care of. I’ve been seeing her for years! If it weren’t for her, I would of left this clinic years ago. She really is that needle in a haystack.
As for the staff, only a few are nice. The rest are pretty stuck up and constantly gossiping. No wonder the wait time is so backed up, they’re always yapping their trap. I once left my appointment book on the counter and the woman (who was on the phone laughing it off with whoever was more important than her job) didn’t bother picking it up to register me till about 45 minutes later. Oh god, asking them a simple question is as if the world is coming to an end. They throw the biggest hissy fit about everything. And god forbid they ever crack a smile! If you hate your job that much, then please do the rest of us a favor and quit.
All in all, it definitely is a clean environment. I suggest finding a different doctor or clinic. I promise, you’ll thank me in the long run.
