Sad to say, it is all made en china, no authenticity I prefer paying a bit more and getting the real cultural deal ////////////////////

just an awful experience all around. very unpleasant people helping me with my balloon purchase. not only that, did a horrible job blowing them up, the completely deflated 12 hours later. $ 45 down the drain.

Good place to find anything you need. The 3 stars is because customer service can be improved specially at the registers!

Party City has a HUGE assortment of everything and every theme for every party you can throw. Party favors, candy, napkins, balloons, feather boas, accessories, props, candles, streamers, tinsel, confetti, banners, flags, costumes for Halloween, St Patrick’s, Mardi Gras, Christmas, 4^th of July, all sports themes, Football, Baseball, Soccer, events: Birthdays, weddings, Showers, anniversaries, etc… You can find it here.
I have never had a problem with customer service.

Fire management. Thats the only way to make this place right. Dont ask someone a question in here, you’ll swear you just insulted their whole family with the look and tone they give you.

Was able to jump in here for a few minutes right before closing recently.
I was looking for a spot to pick up a bunch of things for this weeked’s Unilocal Staycation event on the Jersey shore and found it using the Unilocal ap.
Pretty much anything you need here for any type of party, event, or celebration can be found. Decorations, tableware, paper goods, balloons, novelties, themed goods, costumes, candy, holiday supplies, and much more are all on hand. This store is stacked and well stocked with overall fair prices. Problem is certain product lines and themes are seasonal only, and they did not have anything on hand that I needed. Good thing there was another party supply store within a few minutes walk that had what I needed.
Store is bright, clean, and I thought well organized. I also found the staff to be pretty helpful too when I was walking around looking for certain items. Would come back here again if in need of decorations and supplies for a party or event.

Extremely rude service. You’re better off getting your party supplies anywhere else but here. You have been warned!

The two stars is for the store itself. Lots of fun things to pick from. And the 15 for $ 1 candy is amazing!
But there was a security guard practically stalking my every move as I filled up my candy bag with candy. It was weird.
And then my cashier was extremely slow at, and clearly uninterested in ringing me up. She was nagging throughout the entire transaction. «I want to go home» «I’m going home after this» «I just hurt my foot I’m going home» «I’M SO TIRED» «I’m not staying until the end of my shift I wanna go home!» Like dude, seriously? You’re WORKING.
Party City, you should REALLY be more aware about who you’re hiring. Your employee SUCKS.

Just get costume for Halloween, and I can say the place change a lot in good a lot customers and home decoration

Staff was NOT friendly enough. I asked then maybe they can check back part. He said «if you couldn’t find it on the shelf I can’t help you». Not professional service I received:(

Pretty comparable to 34^th Street location when it comes to selection. Fun assortment of holiday décor, costumes, and wicked cool pop culture themed party supplies. Sometimes longer /​slower lines here than on 34^th. But the upside is it’s not underground like that one is– so you don’t lose cell service!

If they ask for your email to send you a copy of the receipt they will add you to a mailing list that spams you 3 or 4 times a week. This is a poor corporate policy or maybe a cashier who was not trained properly and checked a box indicating to send advertisements.
How many emails are you going to get from PC when you did not subscribe before you get upset and unsubscribe — Really! Maybe if they sent one every 2 weeks would not have thought much of it, but I am not shopping there daily.

I had to come here for bridal shower décor, and was seriously overwhelmed by the vast selection of everything u can think of for a party. A staff member is nice and pointed me in the right direction.
Their bridal shower selection was a bit limited though I might say. They had tons of baby shower games, but only 2 types of bridal shower games to choose from.
I thought I would be in and out in 30 minutes, but ended up being in their for over an hour only because there are so many different things to choose from.
The cashier was very patience and nice when I had to ask her some questions about the balloons and blowing them up. (They do charge $ 1 to blow up balloons from the ones in the bag– not the huge foil ones or the ones at the counter). I had to run back to the balloon aisle to get a balloon pump and came back. and she already had everything bagged up and took my email address just in case I had to return something. (not sure why email address, if the receipt would be fine) whatever at that point, I just wanted to get out of there after over an hour shopping.

I was here twice, first time on Dec 31, 6 hours before my friend’s EOY party, the place was packed and the line was really long, but it moved super fast and even though the cashier was tired, we still got a really good service, no attitude at all. We returned few days later to return some unused items, and we arrived 5 mins after the store was closed, and the manager helped us returned the stuff and some of the items were on a receipt that we lost and we still got a store credit. Great customer service, no complains here.

Therr are about a hundred employees in this store and a huge line of customers at cashier registers, with one cashier. One! I ve been standing in line for 15 minutes, waiting to check out. Wow what bad customer service

Surprisingly best costume store in NYC for an affordable price. If you go mid day you won’t see a crowd and it will be easy to pick your costume. Every other store in the city either has outrageous prices, horrible Return policy, and better yet no way to try on and see your costume out of the bag! I came here and in under 10’min I was at the register after trying on my costume.
Speedy lines and they accept coupons and returns! Don’t knock it!

It’s a great location close to most train the only issue is the store is missing or sold out on a lot of items
The candy bar is great 15 candy for a $ 1
Other than that the store is clean and the staff very polite and helpful
Fast register
And if you smart Google coupons before you check out!

Awesome customer service, good selection – one of the floor workers went out of their way to help me find a specific birthday accessory, and another one was kind enough to keep my water bottle that I left behind!

Don’t shop here if you’re not white because security will be on you. Like standing less than a foot behind you. DO NOT SHOP HERE.

I’ll give this place 3 stars for being less expensive then other party stores in this area and often having good deals. In addition, this place is HUGE and has a vast selection– in the dozens of times I’ve been here things have never been out of stock. This place gets kinda cray cray during Halloween– but throughout the rest of the year they carry things for every party theme from cartoon to baby shower !
I will take 2 star off for the obnoxious teenage employees that serve you with an attitude and roll their eyes at you as of you are doing them a huge disservice by spending $ 100 + in their store. Oh and god forbid you place a balloon order– these lazy kids will give you the major ‘tude !

I came here specifically for red ribbon and they did not have any. I don’t understand how this huge party-​goods store doesn’t have red ribbon; it’s a friggin’ primary color! Actually, their ribbon selection was poor overall. They only had a few colors. My local 99cents store has a better stock of ribbon.
The store does have a very wide selection of other things, especially candy. However, if you’re in need of ribbon, just go to Michael’s instead. They make party city’s ribbon options look like a joke. Ok end of ribbon rant.

I like the selection they have here – it’s a great place to buy any supplies for parties of any occasion. They also have a great selection of balloons!
However, the staff here is very rude. I tried to return something a couple months later and the manager kept on making commends on how I should have returned it in 30 days or less. I was fine with getting store credit, so I don’t know why she was giving me so much grief about it. She had a horrible attitude and it wasn’t appreciated.
I will only go back for supplies because they have a good selection but am not looking forward to having to interact with the employees there.

I came in here looking for some Halloween accessories on Halloween. I didn’t want a full costume but wanted to dress up a bit so I looked like I was in the Halloween spirit.
One aisle was dedicated to their Halloween costumes and paraphernalia.
I fond a black fedora with a decorative strip that I could use for more than Halloween and a skull ring.
There was a line for those waiting for actual full costumes but thankfully I was not.
I went to the regular check out line to ring up my purchases. I was asked if I wanted to donate money to the Boys’ and Girls’ Club. I asked if it was for new York and the person, Amanda, said yes. I agreed to donate one dollar. For less than $ 10 I was able to look like I at lead had the Halloween spirit and donate some money.

Describe the Party City in Union Square in 3 words or less — Helium Balloons Galore!
I popped in this store recently to buy a bunch of birthday decorations for a party. This is one of the larger Party City stores I’ve been inside. It was well organized and orderly (not too many products are out of place and the aisles are tidy). You can find things by color, which was great and helpful.
The best part of this store were the selection of balloons. There are so many and you can easily ask for specific balloons by number.
I would definitely come here again.
