Thank God for Peter and his team. They took their time with me, really worked with me, and, in the end, produced an out-​of-​this-​world reel. That’s not to say Peter didn’t challenge me. He doesn’t pull any punches. Which is what I love about him. He pushes you to do your best work. But it doesn’t stop there. Peter gives you the low-​down on the business. Having already spent a good deal of time and money on voiceover training at Edge Studios, I found myself wanting to be on a faster track toward recording a really awesome demo and to fine-​tune my training so that I could back it up during auditions. And so, after some research into the «who’s who» of voiceover coaching and production in NYC, I decided give PDR a try.
From our very first conversation, Peter identified vocal abilities in me that were beyond what my previous coaches had ever told me I could do. And then in the booth, he backed it up by showing me! Isn’t that what a great coach is supposed to do – bring out your very best? But not only that; he is also is a consummate professional and a wonderful teacher. Whether it’s the first time you meet him or the day everything comes together in recording your demo at his state-​of-​the-​art studio, he and his staff take your training and your career very seriously. They treat you like a pro, bring out your talent and also make it fun. Every moment I’ve spent there has been a confidence builder and a joy.
I now have recorded both my commercial and narration demos at PDR, and I cannot begin to tell you how talented, creative and knowledgeable the PDR production staff is. The reels are amazing. I am so proud to present them as examples of my work as a VO pro, and I am also happy to call Peter my VO coach and mentor!

Save your money and go elsewhere. The class was 500, the demo recording cost 1800, and then a 300 coaching session pushed on you when you pick up your finished demo.
There are plenty of other much more affordable options out there that will sound just as good.
