Pierpoint Morgan Library

Ever wonder what it’s like to be rich? No, I mean RICH RICH. Like extravagance up the wazoo. Look no further than the Pierpoint Morgan Library. That’s right, this is JP Morgan’s digs and over his lifetime he did what all rich people do. Collect all sorts of ridiculous artifacts from around the world to the extent that his collection has now become a museum. Every time I walked by this place I always assumed it was a church but little did I know that this place was owned by JP Morgan himself. Must have been pretty great to be a robber baron back in the day. There are some very cool artifacts in here throughout history including the Gutenberg bible, letters from Napoleon, and other famous people from history. Definitely worth checking out although admission was a bit expensive considering it can all be seen in an afternoon.
