I usually go to Arti but she wasn’t available so I thought I tried the new girl. What a huge fucking mistake! She took my skin off and was so rude. If you see a short lady with glasses with long hair, DO NOT LET HER TOUCH YOUR FACE!!!

If you want a good, clean, threading job, I definitely recommend Pinky’s. I’m definitely impressed by this place and the folks here who do a quick job on the threading. I’ve now been coming here for the past 5 months and the price you pay is extremely reasonable, even if the threading is over in 5 minutes.

Not a fan. The women seem disinterested in serving you. The seats are bench style. It is a whole in the wall. Oh, did I mention the scarred my skin?

Just walked out of there with tiny cuts on my forehead from eyebrow threading. Lady rushed through it (even though no one was waiting), put oil and powder before I could check if I liked it (and then couldn’t adjust because she put baby oil already). Also did waxing and same story — rushed the job, and the had to thread the missed areas because it was already oiled. Avoid! Never going back!

I had to get my eyebrows done, and luckily I found this place on Unilocal!The place was easy to find, the lady who threaded my eyebrows was so nice and sweet.
She did a very clean, good job! $ 7 for eyebrow threading is such a bargain– it’s amazing! I would definitely come back here whenever I’m in NY. Anyone who gets their eyebrows threaded, they all know. Once you thread, you can’t ever wax or tweeze. :))

I have been going there since 2005 when they first opened and were trying to get customers for $ 3. I used to go to Pinky but she’s not here at this location often anymore. I will only go to Arti. When I tried other people or places, I was disappinted. Arti is a master.
Clearly, I really like them that I’ve reviewed them 2x without realizing.

I used to go to the location on Park but switched to this one when I changed my job. I had a great experience with Arti on my first visit. She was meticulous and did a fantastic job. On my second visit, a different woman helped me and unfortunately the experience was super rushed, much more painful and significantly less pleasant than the first. Three days later, not only have I developed red bumps on my upper lip, but the hairs on my eyebrows that weren’t fully removed from the follicle have already started to grow back.
I will be returning because of the convenience of the location but will most definitely be requesting Arti!

I’m disappointed and will never be returning here. They’re fast, I’ll give them that, but that’s not always the best option.
The rushed short version, just like they conduct their service, is that they can’t be trusted.
Here’s the long winded explanation:
I’ve come here a few times before the last and so I give it 2 stars instead of 1. This is because I think it depends on who you see. The first two times they did my eyebrows just fine and I walked out happy and in fact, not too red.
However, the last time I went, I was in a lot of pain and was confused as to why. When I looked in the mirror, it all made sense. She had taken off SO much of my eyebrows from the arch part to the end, that I was mortified. After months of intentionally growing out my eyebrows, I was incredibly unhappy and quite upset. I should have known because the woman that was in the chair before me also had incredibly thin eyebrows when she was done! When I showed one my best and most honest friends, she agreed and said, «yeah this thin-​look would have been good like 10 years ago». Ouch, just like the pain of the threading.
To give you a point of contrast, I also go to (and will only continue going to) Perfect Look Threading. They take the time to understand exactly how you want your eye brows to be shaped, instead of taking their own creative license. Keyword: shaped. Go to my review on their page.

Got my eyebrows threaded yesterday with a friend. We were both very happy with the services and it was super well priced, especially for midtown!

These ladies are very good at what they do. Quick, diligent and cheap! If you need your eyebrows done on your lunch break not to worry you never have to wait they are that quick!

Just ok. I went there recently because they are close to my office.
Good in a pinch, but I thought the shaping could have been better.

Instead of hanging up, the woman did my eyebrows while she talked to the person on speaker!!! She was so distracted…
It seemed like only one person was in the store. When I walked in, she was talking to someone on the phone. She asked me to take a seat, and instead of hanging up, put the person and speaker and continued speaking to them while she did my eyebrows! I was worried that she was distracted. Sure enough I had to point out to her a few times that she’d missed a spot or that she needed to shape my eyebrows a little more. Huge disappointment, I was scared she’d take too much off the whole time!

Wow impressive. I came here on a whim to get my eyebrows done before I went on vacation, and stumbled into this teeny pink-​walled salon. I was a bit skeptical of the small size and the large line of ladies waiting to get service, but actually, I came out very impressed.
I waited for only about 10 minutes and had my eyebrows threaded in 3 minutes! It cost me $ 7 and I just gave a total of $ 10. It was cheap, fast, and efficient… AND my eyebrows looked great! The only thing I would have changed is that because she was moving so quickly, there were a few stray hairs left over — but nothing I couldn’t tweeze out later.
I would definitely recommend coming here!

went here a few days ago cause i was in desperate need of a thread.
Is it only me that expects to walk out a threading salon with the sexiest eyebrows? cause when i payed to wax them i feel like it was an «ok» job but i pay enough money to have nice shaped full eyebrows when i endure the pain of threading.
long story short the lady was nice, the eyebrows look like i basically tweezed off like 3 or 4 hairs .it did NOT look like i just got them done. i will stick to my other place.
oh and as i was getting threaded a middle eastern woman was going crazy on her lady saying she messed her eyebrows up.. no bueno. atleast theyre cheap.

I never had eyebrows done in 5 minutes before but yeah, they got the job done while I was running to work and painlessly! Just tell them to «clean up» if you don’t want them to change your shape. For $ 7 bucks? Heck yes!

This is one of the best threading salons I’ve come across! It’s very clean and I never have to wait long for a chair. The whole threading process takes about 5 minutes and I always get compliments on my brows after I get them done. The salon takes credit/​debit cards, which is amazing, and you can even put the tip on the card. I’ve had some horrific experiences at bad/​unclean threading salons so I rarely go anywhere besides Pinky’s!

The last few times I have gone they have threaded my brows too thin. I feel like they don’t really listen to what I want and just do their own thing.

4 stars because it’s a hit or miss. There is only one lady, all the way in the back who does it really well. I would have given 5 stars if they were all that great.

I have been going here since over a year and I have been disappointed only once. I always get my brows done from Deepu. She has the sweetest and kindest face there. You will know when you see her. She is so gentle and does my brows perfect every time. Only time I had a dismal experience was when she was not there and I got my brows done from this «Girl who never smiled «. Not only my brows were done unevenly but she chided me for not doing them regularly enough since she had to thread maybe 5 – 10 more hair. She had scathed my face so badly it took days to heal.
This is a threading salon and you are bound to get few pulls and scathe. But most of the girls here are good and you can be in and out in less than 10 minutes if there is no line. I believe they charge extra for credit
doesn’t hurt to have $ 7+ TIP in cash handy when you go there.
Note:-If you have a good experience with one of the girls, stick to her every time you go to her and tip her well.

This is the best place and best price for eyebrow threading. They are fast and thorough… the space is small so please be mindful.
Also please have payment ready card or cash. they are that quick:)
