I just did threading and tinting for the first time and these ladies were great! Not only were they lovely, but they explained the process and answered all of my questions. My eyebrows look wonderful and I’ve already set up my next appointment — I will be back!

Just got my eyebrows threaded and tinted; absolutely love it! My eyebrows look perfectly arched and shaded in. Highly recommended to do the tinting. It’s the less expensive option than microblading. The ladies were really attentive and even gave me a complimentary head massage. Will be back again.

Pinky’s Village Spa is a wonderful place to go for a multitude of services. It is a wonderful Spa in the heart of the East Village. It is a warm and friendly environment that is beautiful and relaxing to be in. From the moment you walk in until you leave you feel like everyone is there to take care of you.
I started using Pinky at a different salon and followed her to her lovely new space on 3^rd St. The space is beautiful, and there is always beautiful music playing that adds to the relaxing environment that she has created.
I started out with the brow threading, and now do eyebrow and eyelash tinting and eyelash extensions All executed professionally and perfectly. I love the eyelash extensions. I love how they look. You can run out the door with no makeup on and look just as beautiful as if you had spent hours on your make up.
If you want to get lash extensions just know, for me, that the more expensive the lashes were, the better. The better lashes, for me, were more comfortable. The less expensive extensions still looked great though. If you have never done it, just know that if you want to maintain them, you go in for maintainace and fills. (Just like maintaining your nails at a nail salon)
At my last visit I did henna for my hair. Pinky did a custom blend of henna just for me that came out beautiful. The color is as brilliant as any salon color that I had done prior.
I highly recommend all the services that Pinky offers.

If j had to give them a 0 I would but Unilocal won’t let me. THE WORST EYEBROW place and SO FRIGGAN EXPENSIVE !! I have thick beautiful eyebrows naturally and I only ask for a clean up when I go in. This girl speaks English and understood me yet she did her own thing and I came out with pencil thin eyebrows. And she kept going at it when I told her to stop. She said she had to make them even and then wound up taking a chunk out of the brows she already thinned out. She then offered to tint my already dark eyebrows so she can fix her mistake and of course charge me a sh*tload of money. I literally cried my eyes out. It’s going to take me months to fix the damage she did. I can’t vouch for the other ladies but this lady is a mess. Her name is Vandy or something. Whatever you do, so not let her go near your brows.

I went in to Pinky’s to get my eyebrows threaded and decided I’d try something in the area that had good reviews. The threading was good and for $ 15 it better be, considering the amount of $ 7 places you can easily find anywhere in the city. I was repeatedly asked if I wanted «cream» to help make my eyebrows thicker — no thanks, just threading. She continued to ask to the point where I figured it might be included so why not.
Turns out she tinted my eyebrows (Total ended up being $ 35 + credit card charge + tip) for something I did not sign up for. I have extremely dark hair and my eyebrows are very dark, so I don’t even see a difference — waste of money for me especially since it was a service I was refusing.
Yes the threading was good, but I will definitely not come back due to the serious upselling that was honestly uncomfortable.

Pinky is the best in the business, hands down. She is always available via text and always works with her clients’ requests and availability.
Pinky is truly talented, I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my eyebrows. I always get complimented when I leave her salon, and the last time I left I headed straight to work and was stopped by a fashion photographer and had an impromptu photo shoot in the middle of the West Village on Hudson and Christopher st! Hah.
Whatever she recommends, I would say just go with it. She knows what’s up.

Okay, I like this place! I really do! But a few things to note that a first timer just looking at Unilocal reviews would never know:
First the Pros though:
Nice ladies, amazing eyebrow threading and tinting. While they always do a good job with threading, it was my first time tinting & wow! My brows look totally different! I’ve never had an arch before and the tinting really helped get me that, which is crazy.
Cons: I got eyelash extensions there once. I’ve had lash extensions before and I don’t think I would do them here again. You sit out in the threading chair for about an hour. You don’t go into a back room, lie down, or anything like that. With people walking around and talking, conducting normal business, it can be pretty much not relaxing at all and uncomfortable to be in that chair for so long. They also use synthetic mink and it’s quite expensive. It feels soft when you first touch it, but once on they are hard and tough with no movement. I also expressed that I wanted them very long, way longer than my natural length & they turned out to be just as long as my normal lashes with some mascara on. It’s just like I got a 200 dollar lash tint & now have hard lashes. I’ve had lashes before that are soft & fluid & were very long, these are the opposite.
Now probably the biggest turn off: They push very hard for you to write a glowing review right when you check out. A lot of pressuring is done. They even made me go back and add the name of the girl who did my services and said I should sit down so I can write better. It was consistently pushed as soon as I stood up to the second I walked out. I ended up deleting my review later which was very similar to 99% of these other glowing reviews. I’m not saying this place is not amazing. The brow stuff absolutely is!!! But as a first time customer you should definitely have a right to know what is actually going on! If I had of known better I would have saved hundreds of dollars.

Pinky is my go-​to for it all! She is not only my eyebrow savior but my Brazilian wax savior! I could never find the perfect place to get a wax because i always dealt w pain, ingrown hairs and bumps after, so I gave up. Then I decided to get the sugar wax from Pinky, she did it in 10 minutes! And it was virtually painless compared to my waxes in the past and my skin was amazing for weeks following. In my opinion definitely the best eyebrow and wax salon in the east village. She knows what she is doing all around, and the only woman I trust when it comes to this :) Team Pinky!

You know that place that you swear you’ll keep coming back to even when you move far away? This is that place. I came to pinky for the first time when the old place I used to go to had too long of a wait. I told pinky this and she said «give me 3 times in a row doing your eyebrows and you’ll never go anywhere else.» I obliged and she was right. I will never go anywhere else. Pinky has changed the shape of my eyebrows in the best way possible — for the first time in my life I’m actually getting asked where I get my eyebrows done.
On top of that, it’s always a great experience — clean, quick in-​and-​out and extremely accommodating. Everyone is so friendly and pinky remembered my name after even just the first time of coming here.
Cannot say enough great things about this place.

Great experience with waxing. It was my second time ever and even though it was painful (10 years of shaving) I think it was the less painful it could ever be.
I got also my eyebrows cleaned and the result is incredible. They are lovely people and really good at their job. I’ll keep going there !

Thank you Pinky for getting my eyebrows back into shape! I just moved here from Miami 6 months ago and I would only do my eyebrows when I went back home to visit because I don’t trust people. I had to eventually find someone who knows how to keep them thick and a good shape. I was searching through Unilocal and came across pinkys. I saw her clients pictures and I said that’s where I’m going! She did an amazing job! I even got them tinted. Her and her staff are very nice people who really care about their customers. I recommend this place to anyone!

Moving to NYC a few years ago I have been on an endless quest to find someone that does my eyebrows well. I have been to numerous threading salons all over the city (including very expensive and cheap ones) and and I am very happy about coming back here again and again. Pinky is amazing!
She got so popular she finally opened her own salon and I am very happy to be her client. She always greets me by first name and has a warm genuine smile to all of her customers. The prices are good and the salon is super modern and clean.
Definitely try this place out if your looking for someone to make your brows beautiful!
