Description

Specialties

Port 41 is an eclectic rock and roll dive in NYC. Our bikini clad bartenders and free hot dogs may not appeal to everyone, but if you have a taste for adventure this is the place for you. Though we may seem to have a tough and gritty exterior our beautiful bartenders, great customer service, and cheap drink prices will make you feel right at home. We are one of the last real rock dives still in the NYC area, so come check out a piece of old NYC.

History

Established in 1990.

Port 41 has quite a history. This bar has been a family run business for a little over 40 years. It has previously been know a Savoy lounge, a very popular jazz club in the early 90’s. After changing family hands it was renamed tobacco road and expanded into rock n roll shows. In 2004 it changed family hands again and was renamed to Port41. To the rock n roll atmosphere we the added our beautiful bikini bartenders, free popcorn and hot dogs.

The mixture of renovations and remnants from the past give Port41 a historical rock n roll feel hard to replicate anywhere else. There’s no place like Port 41!
