Just popped in for a quick juice. Don’t feel I can give a higher rating until I try their food. But friendly guys. Priced reasonably, from what I could see. Clean enough for the area. Well stocked in drinks. The breakfast foods they had in the warmer looked really good. Will definitely be back for a sammy next time I’m in the ‘hood and hankerin’.

I usually stay away from places like this as the food is similar at these types of places. I gave them a shot and have been going here for a decent, quick and cheap meal. One great thing is that they can customize your order and are very pleasant about it. The morning breakfasts that I always get are bacon(+ extra bacon), 2 eggs over easy over white rice. Yes rice … I need to have my rice and this is a delicious combination. I’ll definitely keep coming back here.

This place is perfect for a quick bite before you catch your train or bus at the Port Authority. Its especially awesome that it’s open 24 hours(then again it is the city that never sleeps.) Similar to local neighborhood bodegas, this spot provides you with moderately priced hot and cold sandwiches. I had to catch the bus to Newark at 5am. I luckily found this place via Unilocal and was able to grab a Turkey Bacon, Egg and Cheese on a Roll(~ $ 3.00) before making the journey to Jersey. It was cheap and delicious. My vitamin water was a bit expensive but eh, what are you going to do. I’d recommend this spot if you’re looking for some grub without frills

It was an ok sandwich. I ordered the salami and cheese right off the board. Somehow they forgot the roasted peppers. The only choice of bread was whole wheat.

Decent sized deli and good breakfast/egg platter options and sandwiches Was walking by and saw quite a crowd inside this deli. Noticed some cops coming out breakfast and coffee in hand. Couldn’t resist going in and checking this place out. Wanted to get the Egg Platter and they said they were out of Hash Browns. Seriously at 9 am in the morning, you are out of the most essential component of breakfast!!! Couldn’t make up mind and did in and out couple of times and finally decided to get the Tuna Melt on a Toasted Whole Wheat. It was only $ 4.50 and it was insanely good. I specifically asked him to put lots of jalapenos and there wasn’t a single one. Guess its not a common request but I love my jalapenos in my sandwiches. But really liked the sandwich overall. Definitely stopping by again at this little hells kitchen deli.

Good food, good prices for a deli in midtown. I just wish they were better at answering phones for deliveries. I would say they’ve picked up once out of the 5 times Ive called through out the month!

I would LOVE to give a 5 star review for the yummy egg & pepper jack cheese bagel I got due to its price and quality(3 egg on a bagel orders, an egg on a croissant and with cheese and bacon on some, two individual serving size Simply Made OJs all for $ 16!!) but there were two issues: I found a hair(not my own!) on my sandwich and they served a cold croissant sandwich to my fiancé’s dad. Despite this, they were fast and used real cheese which was great and good quality bagels too!

I did business with this deli because they had such great reviews on Unilocal.I needed to order 20 sandwiches for a group. The guy could not take my delivery order over the phone and I understood that so I went down there and helped him write it out personally. I used their menu which had each item numbered. I gave them the number and a person’s name for each sandwich. I asked that they write the person’s name on each sandwich. I also ordered a lot of beverages. The delivery was very late. It took a lot longer than they said it would take. This was a problem because my group was on a deadline. When the sandwiches were delivered, they did not have names or numbers on them. I stood there unpacking each one and guessing what it was. It was a real cluster#*&@. This order came to $ 127 so it was not a little order. The sandwiches were good and the price was good, but I will never order from them again, because it was impossible to manage. In the past, other delis have been able to label the sandwiches with a name or a number. Next time I will take my huge order and I will go elsewhere.

I stopped here for a ham on rye today, it was great! The meat was bountiful, the ingredients fresh, the service quick and fine. The place was clean, the price was right, I’ll be back.

As we speak I’m eating a surprisingly juicy delicious Reuben. I couldn’t wait to right a review, this place deserves one. On the outside it doesn’t look like much. I’ve passed by a gazillion times on by lunch break and never went in, but I was looking for a deli in the area, a real deli where I can eat a real sandwich for lunch(I work in the area). I stopped in, ordered my my sandwich. The guys who worked there were very nice and polite. Walking away, I was expecting to be disappointing biting into a dry bland sandwich. The Times Sq. area doesn’t have much by ways of good food. Instead I’m happily eating a really good juicy, flavorful Reuben. two people already came by and asked me what I’m eating and where they can get it. This was the first time I go there and definitely wont be the last. I’m actually a little sad right now because I’m almost finished with my sandwich :(

I’m giving it a 4 and they should be really happy they got that. Here is what(how) I ordered: «Can I get a rare roast beef sandwich on a poppy-seed roll with mayo, lettuce, tomato, salt & pepper. Please don’t hold back on the mayo, I really like a lot.» «Do you want it hot or grilled?» «No, I would like it colt and as rare as possible. And please extra mayo, I really like a lot.» «Okay.» Long story short there was a normal amount of mayo and no salt and pepper which is really necessary when the sandwich is so simple ingredient wise. The cashier seemed nice and cleaned off the top of my drink for me without me even asking(there was muck on it). My bud got a grilled roast beef with mozzarella on garlic bread and that was pretty good. I really want to give this place a 3 or 2 but my friends sandwich and the cashier are really getting them back up… ugh fine.

This deli rocks. I’m in here every so often, with an order of fifteen different bagels and sandwiches(I’m always the one who has to get the break order at work), and these guys are phenomenal. The bagels are really good, and they do a nice job of spreading the cream cheese evenly over the bagel(that’s one of my criteria for a satisfactory deli bagel). I order the egg and cheese on a roll, and it’s fresh and delicious every time. They have a pretty expansive menu, and then lots of normal deli snacks and drinks. I really want to try one of their sandwiches for myself — I’ve heard good things from my friends who get lunch there. The guys behind the counter are always really friendly, and even when I don’t go there for months, they remember me when I come back in. And the other customers are friendly too, if rough around the edges(although I did have a totally awkward encounter with a guy railing against the gentrification of HK and how all the white people were pricing everyone else out of the neighborhood, and then he turns to me and goes, «And where do YOU live?» and I stuttered and was like, «…Hell’s Kitchen?» AWKWARD. Should have lied). Definitely a good deli!

Their roast beef is bloody red, and tasty!, that much I already knew. I had them spread on an egg n oil emulsion(aka mayonnaise) and toss on some smelly provolone. Next, I demanded that they slice me up the ripest, freshest tomato with nothing less than an imported ceramic chef’s knife. They didn’t have those, so I settled for the garden variety. Ugh! «He’s playing hardball,» with my sandwich! This hostage negotiation just took a turn for the worst. The natives(my stomach) were getting restless. So now I try asking politely, can I get that on garlic bread? «We’ll see what we can do!,» he said. Upon hanging up the phone, I developed knots in my stomach and started growing warts on my hands. «What the heck are they gonna bring me?» I kept thinking. They took their time, and delivered the best Roast Beef Sandwich I’ve ever had!
