Ordered a PBJ and a cucumber salad. The cucumber salad was tiny(think side dressing cup) but was good. The PBJ was on a very stale«Subway”-style roll, and had almost no Peanut butter or jelly on it. Not worth $ 10 for the 2… very disappointing

I love this place. Everything is nice and fresh. The staff is always pleasant. My favorite meal is the Grill chicken and cheese and I add bacon to it. I top it off with cucumbers, lettuce and mayo. The macaroni salad I delish also. The lines are long sometimes but they move fast. I like how there have someone take ur order before you head to the counter. Every once in a while I sit and eat too. The place is very clean.

Ordered online at 12.30. Rang at 2pm as it still had not arrived, was told it would be right with me. It’s now 2.50pm and I’m still waiting.

I got the A Wreck, double meat on BIGS multigrain bread with mayo, lettuce, onion, tomato, and pickle. The A Wreck is salami, roast beef, turkey, ham and swiss cheese. The BIGS bread is a dollar extra. The double meat is an extra $ 2.10. Good sandwich.

Actually around the corner from its true address, centrally located near Bryant Park and Grand Central.

This is a review for a corporate Seamless order on 08÷31÷15. Order #1650017362 I ordered a cup of chicken noodle soup and two orders of the side cucumber salad(Which I was charged for both), and only received on side of cucumber salad. This location also notoriously always delivers later than the delivery window.

For when you want a not so healthy filling yummy sandwich and not wait too long for it… Sandwich: I usually order the Regular Italian on whole grain with Everything(meaning all of the toppings).($ 6.40 before tax) Their hot peppers are so good. I used to hate Potbelly but that was only because I didn’t know how to order from them — so one day I asked a sandwich maker what I should get and she hooked me up. :) Salad: I usually order their Farmhouse Salad with Chicken($ 8.70 before tax) which has all the toppings you would find in a Cobb Salad. It’s a good size and good bang for your buck(Unlike Chopped next door). Their Potbelly Vinaigrette is pretty good too.

Reviewing based on seamless delivery. Potbelly has great food, and this place is no exception. But I can’t understand why they can’t get their delivery service right. We use them for group lunch orders via seamless(I really wish we had the ability to just go there in person — maybe this would eliminate my problem). I can always, and I mean always, count on them to mess up some aspect of my order. Whether it’s forgetting my soup, leaving out half the ingredients to a salad, or using the wrong bread on a sandwich, it never fails. But again the food is good, which is why I probably keep going back for more(mistakes). They don’t tend to listen when I call and complain, so maybe this will help them get their act together.

Stopped in here for a quick bite before a networking event at a nearby office space. Clearly this location, steps away from Grand Central, is more of a lunchtime spot, since I was one of the only customers around 6pm. Staff was friendly, and my turkey sandwich was made fresh. I like the skinny bread option which cuts away some calories without cutting down on taste.

Yay potbelly! I love your greasy fatty deliciousness. But now I can save 90 calories with your flatbread. Extra mayo please!

When I asked someone, what’s Pot Belly’s food like? They replied, «It’s like Subway but better.» Let me tell you that was dead on. I entered here during the bustling lunch hour. To my surprise the line moved rather quickly. As you stand on line there is host walking through the line taking everyone’s order to speed up the process. I see the benefit in this system but also the negative. Being that it was my first time there I didn’t really have a chance to fully look over the menu before I felt like the pressure to order was on me. So my suggestion would be to not get onto the line until you are prepared to place your order. Well I ended up with a grilled chicken cheddar sandwich with a numerous amount of extra toppings that I had to add. Sandwich was tasty and definitely better than a Subway sub. The bread wasn’t too soft but also wasn’t too hard. I will be back here and will be more prepared when it comes to ordering next time.

The Chicago-based chain recently opened up another location just south of Grand Central. A welcome addition to the area, as Potbelly always serves a pretty solid sandwich. The line is intimidating — even with just recently opening — but moves by pretty fast. A sandwich here without their signature hot peppers is like ice cream without the cream. And the fun.
