The wonderful work of Vahid, Leon, and the other staff at Print Icon keeps me coming back. They always provide beautiful and carefully crafted prints.

I used to use print icon for all my printing in college, and I have now had them print my wedding invites. They did a beautiful job, and they helped my figure out what the best paper/​format was. The customer service and communication is excellent and efficient. Will definitely use them for my printing needs in the future.

From the very first, he was so responsive, enthusiastic, and reassuring and worked closely with us to ensure that our invitation was everything we wanted it to be. This was truly an excellent customer service experience and I plan to return in the future for all of my printing! I had a terrific experience with Print Icon this past week. After going through dozens of wedding invitation catalogues (none that featured any options me appropriate for a same sex couple), meeting with several printers in the area and working with a graphic designer all to no avail, I met Vahid and he helped me finalize and print the perfect wedding invitation that me and my partner love !
First off, the graphic team at Print Icon helped fix a few design flaws of my original invitation and rsvp card design.
Next, Vahid made some really creative suggestions on how best to complete the overall packaging as well as unique material to use that enhanced the overall look plus saved us some money.
Finally they printed the work beautifully and on time.
We are both so happy to have found Print Icon and Vahid given the frustrations we were encountering prior to working with them, and are so happy with the final result.
We will definitely use them for any future print work we need.

Great family owned/​run business, which was recommended to us personally. We proactively researched many Manhattan/​Brooklyn printers and other suppliers but chose Print Icon in the end. We were very happy with our final decision.
Hamid and Navid were extremely professional and were able to assist us with creating our perfect wedding invitation. We had our own design already but were looking for help with the actual printing of the invitations.
Hamid listened to what we were looking to achieve and carefully explained what the different options were (foil stamping, digital printing etc). The overall process took a lot less time than we expected and we were very happy with their communication throughout to ensure we understood timelines.

This is a fantastic print shop. I come from a print background and have recently taken on my own clients, requiring the highest quality print possible in digital, letterpress, foil stamping, catalog — you name it.
Vahid, Ana, and the whole team are willing to go above and beyond to reach the perfect end result. Their HP Indigo prints the highest-​quality digital and the pricing is very reasonable.
I’ve used them for several clients and for printing my own portfolio, and I couldn’t be happier with the results.
They also offer tons of finishing services like hole punching, edge painting, die cutting, etc. Highly recommended!

Possibly the ONLY weekend option to print business cards on very good card stock. You can print at FedEx, but you’re getting very cheap, flimsy 110# or 110# printer paper. Print Icon provided 160# paper, which is the best «fast digital» matte finish card that I’ve seen. Very friendly, efficient, professional, and a good result. Pricey for rush service, but if you really need cards on a weekend in NYC then you have to pay up. They printed, cut and boxed 100 cards in less than two hours. I will definitely return to check out some of their other print services. Also– check out Vahid’s cool folding vases. They make great Christmas gifts!

Vahid and his company are a highly reputable printing company in New York City. I trust them to get my portfolio printed and they have no minimums, as many other high end printers do. They also have the highly coveted HP Indigo printer that prints WHITE ink. This printer does not have toner, so you don’t have that shiny effect on photographs that you get with all the other laser printers. This bad boy costs half a million bucks, so you definitely get what you pay for.
After scoping out at least ten other printers in the city, I decided to go with Print Icon for their quality, reputation, turnaround time (2 days) and affordable pricing.

I had our custom designed wedding invitations printed here and was blown away at how beautiful the cards came out! I plan on using Print Icon more often for my custom printing needs. The staff was friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable on the best ink and paper combo would represent the custom graphic design. The turnaround time was pretty fast, too. I got my cards in less than two days and I didn’t even ask for express service.
Overall, my experience was great. Although there are negative reviews on this site for them, I do have to say that you should take those reviews lightly. If you know what you want done and communicate it well, you will end up with an amazing print job. The staff at Print Icon will work with you to provide the best outcome — be patient, be kind and it’ll all come out just fine. :)

Vahid and his brothers are running a great business here. I have been printing with them for a while now. Their work and attention to detail is amazing. They are extremely nice and always very helpful!
They printed some of my personal art work. And my wedding save the dates, invitations, and so on. I highly recommend this place.

I printed my graphic design portfolio here, and it was a great experience. Because I didn’t need pages to be bound, there was a very fast turnaround (24 hours almost exactly). They kept me updated, and they even helped me edit a detail in one of my pages that I didn’t catch! They were able to edit my PDF so I didn’t have to go back to school and then back to the printer. What a time saver. The color looked great and I am very happy with my printed portfolio, and am planning on using Print Icon again to print further work/​samples.

Usually they will deliver a great product, unfortunately the customer service is very poor.

Vahid and his staff are consummate professionals and do beautiful work. I use them for graphic design projects for clients and more recently for personal invitations. They’ve been in the biz and in the area for 20+ years. Crazy-​good eye too (they caught something I missed in my own layout, yikes) — gorgeous papers and output.

It is way overpriced for such inattentive and not professional customer service. At the end I had to cancel the service and ask for refund. I wasted my time.

It seems there are already a number of reviews here complaining about customer service at Print Icon and regrettably I feel compelled to add my own.
It’s a short one as I was outta there within 10 minutes after having an introductory conversation with Vahid, the president, about the design of my wedding invitations which included scores and folds. Not only did he come across as arrogant but his vision and creative capabilities are clearly limited; He straight up rejected printing my invitations!
Luckily we live in New York and there are a million alternatives. I ended up working with Judy at The Paper Boutique nearby. They did a beautiful job and guess what, I didn’t need to change my design as Vahid had suggested.
Big shop, small horizons. Too bad considering they’re right next to an art school — I hope the students who use Print Icon’s services don’t suffer too much from the lack of vision here.

Overall, the final product I received was of high quality (personalized stationery). My rating reflects the customer service and the amount of effort and follow-​up required on my part to understand the timing of my order.
I placed my order on a Saturday and Vahid told me that I would receive the proof to approve on Monday and that the order would be complete by the following Saturday.
By Tuesday evening, when I hadn’t received any communication from Print Icon, I emailed the shop inquiring about the status of the proof. They then replied to my email with the proof, which I approved that night.
Assuming that with my approval that my order would be ready by Saturday, when Saturday came around, I called ahead to the store to ensure that it was ready. Vahid needed to research the status of my order and when he called back he explained that it wouldn’t be ready until the following Wednesday. It was the second time that timelines were not met.
During that phone call, Vahid asked if he could deliver the order to my building when it was ready. The following Wednesday, it was ready as he promised. At this point, it was the first time a stated timeline was met.
Overall, my recommendation is that Print Icon can provide better customer service by providing better estimates of timing. If something is delayed, they should reach out to the customer indicating when things will be ready as opposed to the customer chasing this down.

Vahid and Tina answer all of my phone calls & emails with prompt professionalism. Their suggestions have always been great and they aren’t as pricey as you’d think. Actually, considering the quality and attitude, they’re wonderful.
You may have to wait when you call or visit because they’re juggling a couple of other customers, but your patience will reward you. Watch Vahid evolve bad suggestions into quality executions. When a print came out bad, he apologized and reprinted before the client could speak.
I’m not sure how they’d handle a rush job, but they’ve been great with our prints.

Great customer service, good quality, and quick turn around time.
I came here to print my portfolio, and bind it. Turn around time was quick and they were friendly. My initial portfolio print was a rush job, and they stayed as late as they needed to in order to finish it.
There ended up being a problem with one of my original prints due to the rushed nature of the project. However Vahid was extremely accommodating and re-​printed the portfolio for me. They even printed an extra copy.
Overall I would highly recommend Print Icon for portfolio and booklet printing needs. Their printer is high quality, and the color comes out very close to what you would see on your screen.

Print Icon has a limited number of stationary things, scrapbook things, and invitation things.
Recently, they’ve had a sale for 50% off most everything in the store. This excludes Valentines cards and printing services. Regardless of these restrictions, you can definitely score a good deal on do it yourself invitations!!!
They have a table of nice stationary/​invitiation paper in the back of the store for 5 $ a package. A package could include 10 — 25 sheets of paper or envelopes. Basically whatever they have that day. You kinda take your chances.
The pricing for designing your printing needs such as wedding invitations is $ 130 an hour for the designer to sit with you and make the layout for your invitiation. There is also a $ 65 dollar minimum for printing invitations. If you have the skills to design your own layout, you can design your own layout and they will print.
They can do the fancy print like… when the letters stick out a bit out of the paper, or when the letters sink into the paper, or just smooth… whatever you want.
I would come back here, but just expect that if you’re coming to buy paper, they are limited on those things.

HARRASSMENT FROM THE OWNER:
I was contacted by the owner of Print Icon via email telling me that he was disappointed with my review and suggesting that because I am a musician… «a little humility will go a long way.» I’m not sure what that means. He continued in the email to say that the issues encountered on my project were a result of my mistake. Which is not what happened.
When I did not answer that email, he followed up the next day with an offer for a $ 150 credit to take down my review. That was not a consideration for me — frankly because I would never want to work with these people again. But I did consider taking down my review simply because I take no glee in hurting a local business and it didn’t feel worthwhile to get someone so upset. But this site is about writing honest reviews of your experience. Which I did. So, again, I did not reply.
Today, this guy took the liberty of trying to publicly shame me by posting a rant on my PERSONAL FACEBOOK PAGE. So he thinks harassment is the way to get me to take down my review?
My review is not the problem with this business. Their way of dealing with, being honest with and respecting their clients is. BEWARE.
