Again, Rainbow Nail Salon is someplace that I go to strictly for reasons of convenience which basically means that I couldn’t make it out to Diva Spa in Bushwick. It’s a clean and spacious place and if you go during off-peak hours like weekday mornings, you’ll be taken care of right away. I strongly recommend that no one EVER comes here during the weekday rush hours or late on a Saturday afternoon. If you do arrive at these times chances are, you’ll be an uncomfortable eyewitness to incidents and arguments between hardcore, hood chicks that seem straight out of a VSE of Moesha! There’s really nothing extra going on to make you feel special here but that’s not a problem. HELEN is the best pedicurist at Rainbow Nail Salon. She takes her time and she wears these really cool long, rubber, scrub gloves to get all of that nasty dead skin off. Unfortunately, she’s always busy, even when the place is empty. I think that customer’s call ahead for her. In a nutshell, Rainbow Nail salon is quick, clean and close to home. I can’t complain.

An hour? I waited an entire hour to get my pedicure done. I have never waited that long for service. There were three customers ahead of me but one of the employees or manager basically told a customer to come back tomorrow? The woman waited long enough only to be told go away. I guess she frequents often so it may not have been clear whether she was a customer or not, but either way that public conversation didn’t go well at all. The employee/manager was determined to close on time. As always, I am the last customer in beauty and nail salons. Rather than starting my process as quickly as possible, she had me wait on another technician who was already working on a client. She chose to sit back and relax while the others worked. My nail technician was knowledgeable and polite. Word of advice, don’t come after hours on a work night. There were only three employees working: two women and one man. As for me, I won’t be coming back.
