The fro yo is great but PLEASE FIX THE AIR CONDITIONING! This has been a problem for over a year now, no joke. It is stifling hot in the summer time which makes for an unpleasant experience. Every time I ask the manager why they don’t have air conditioning he delivers a new reason/​excuse.

It is not everyday that I throw away a $ 6 Red Mango smoothie after one slip — it was not even in a Red Mango cup!!! Instead it was in styrofoam. The pineapple in the smoothie had a fermented tasted. Truly horrible!

Was walking into red mango when a belligerent homeless person started screaming and chasing me. I don’t recommend coming here, the location is very dodgy with homeless people sitting outside red mango threatening to harm you and chasing you

Was desperate for some fro yo and decided to pop in.
Hello, anyone here? My friend reassured me that there was cleaning and yes, still open. (It was 9:05pm) I felt unwelcome.
We were impressed with the flavors and the topping options.
Where to sit? At the bar area or the one clean table area.
It was $ 11.05, I paid with a $ 20bil but wanted a receipt. Sure enough the cashier said no, we only give receipts for non cash purchases. It felt odd and weird.
No music playing as we ate.
The tabled was matted with gym membership advertising and the guy from the back plopped the trash on the stairs close to our table. It smelt like body oder.
Maybe I’ll go back for a juice… uh. thoughts?

Becareful when ordering at this location because if you get a drink that does not taste right, they will neither refund your purchase nor re-​make your drink. Their customer service really needs improvement. I’ve had better experiences at other red mango’s in the past.

Red Mango in Chelsea is one of the most underrated shops in the neighborhood. It’s slightly underground and tucked in between other shops, so I feel like a lot of people don’t know about its existence.
While Red Mango is most famous for its frozen yogurt, they also serve savory food (soup, sandwiches, etc.), acai bowl, smoothies, and much more. As a froyo aficionado, I tried their self-​serve frozen yogurt and really enjoyed it! There are 8 different flavors, ranging from original (tart) to red velvet, and the flavors rotate quite frequently. I’ve tried the Peanut Butter, Pistachio, Cheesecake, and Taro, all of which I enjoyed. The yogurt here is generally more tart than other places. There aren’t as many topping options as 16 Handles, but it’s very slightly cheaper at 0.59 $/​oz vs. $ 0.62/oz. The staff is also friendly!

Grabbed ~$ 18 worth of froyo here at 8am for their $ 5 fill up promo, and truly appalled the staffers in multiple ways. Unfortunately only the peanut butter was any good, as the rest truly all tasted nearly identical.

My go to froyo and shake place. If you’re a student/​gym member you can get a 10% off discount. Also use the app to accumulate points for discounts and free items. The froyo always has fresh and tasty options and the service is always really good. There are never long lines after the gym/​work. It is a nice good sized venue and it’s always clean and presentable.

I stopped by here recently on a weekday morning at around 10:15 AM on my way to work. The staff is very friendly. I ordered a smoothie, which was delicious, refreshing, and reasonably priced (in comparison to most other smoothie/​juice bar places in the city). I will be back again for another smoothie if I’m in the neighborhood!

I just finished having there ‘beauty and the greens’ juice and the mango chicken wrap and it tasted so delicious. I’m very satisfied. The workers are really friendly and even gave me a free shot of peanut butter protein to try out. I’m very happy to know that it’s down the block from my job.

I like this location because not only do they have frozen yogurt but an entire menu of juices and smoothies as well as salad and pressed sandwiches. A great place to get a healthy snack or lunch and the staff is very nice.
